All's fair in love and cosplay, but what happens at the con stays at the con.
Judy-Lynn is a book-loving graphic artist working on the latest dating app for Dragon Moon Inc. After the former lead sabotages the project, she shoots her shot at a promotion. She has two days to get the app back on track, or Dragon Moon will be in the news—AGAIN. Except it’s the weekend of her romance convention, and she finds herself in a steamy cosplay affair with a masked cosplayer, leaving her wanting to break the cardinal rule of con hookups. Who knew a fanfiction affair could be so good?
Ryu is the CEO of Dragon Moon Inc., a rising tech company. He has two secret reading romance novels and the masked hot book booty who left her business card on his nightstand during a romance con. He can’t get the encounter out of his mind or the fact that the torrid affair was actually with his newly hired project lead. He just finished dealing with corporate espionage. Now, he has a sexy HR nightmare to set social media ablaze—that is, if anyone finds out.
As deadlines loom, Ryu is torn between business and continuing the fantasy of his live-action book romance with his unsuspecting project lead. Can he have his cake and eat it, too, or will secrets tear everything apart?
TB. Bond has been writing, drawing, and web designing for years. When she is not doing one of those things, she’s reading and watching anime. Nerdtastic to the core she’s a Whovian, Trekie, Otaku, and probably a whole host of other things.
Described as one of the hardest working people known by her friends, she holds three degrees; one in science, one in art, and one in information technology. Currently her main job is in a learning technology department where she uses elements all of three fields.
Currently she lives with her husband, a fellow nerd, in Virginia.
This is a awesome story with fantastic characters that are captivating with a relationship that is entertaining and full of humor and drama. The couple's chemistry is full of sizzling passion that burn the pages.I will gladly binge read these authors in this series I'm a fan. This is one of my favorite series that I have really enjoyed. The story has a heroine two names one for work and the other is for meeting people who she didn't work with if this doesn't make you laugh then her behavior will. There is lots of humour and it's off the chart even though they work together. It' can make tears come to your eyes it's so emotional at times. There are quite a few things that's I found entertaining about this book, and one it's absolutely joy to read. Two I didn't put my Kindle down until I finished the story and I'm excited to read the next book in this series. That I will gladly binge read all of these books.
these two! they met at work and then at play and enjoyed mind-blowing sex that neither could get over. and Ryu knew it was her, watching her, remembering the times they were together, before he manned up and made his move. and a child dimed him out and broke her heart. and being a broken-hearted man, he wouldn't allow himself to chase her. until his brothers stepped in and made him admit it to himself. and then the real love affair began. and they were sexy. loved baby girl asking for blasian cousins... a boy for MJ and a girl for her to play with.
I didn’t think I would personally like the story with the cosplay themes but it was surprisingly good. JL and Ryu are hot together and I would be interested in reading more about how Ellen is taken down and even more about Ryu’s business partner Teddy.
Enjoyed this book very much. Jaelle and Ryu were well matched and fun on their own. I liked that they were also older than the typical romance couple. The many Bond references and mise en abyme were an interesting touch if a bit too on the nose and felt at time like inside jokes. Still a good book.
