I’ll let you in on a secret. I hate to cook. No really, I do. I can’t stand all the preparation and mess, and then have it be over in 15 minutes. For years, I so wanted something that would help me get out of the kitchen faster, so that I could enjoy my family, read, watch the news, anything! I was THRILLED when I discovered that there were actually real dishes you could make from only TWO ingredients! My dream come true! I use these whenever I can to make my job as chief cook and bottle washer be a little easier, and to give me a little extra free time more quickly. All of the recipes have only two ingredients, with the following Salt, pepper , and butter or oil don’t count. They’re really used in only a few recipes, but in my book, they don’t count as ingredients. Unless you’re Julia Child or Rachel Ray, and you actually love staying in the kitchen and cooking, you’re going to love this book of tricks and genius.
These recipes sound so incredibly delights I'm not sure which one I will start with. I'm thinking I may start with the date bars cause like the author I love dates. Recipes are well written and are very easy to follow. Highly recommend
I enjoyed this treasure! The food is good, fast and budget friendly! Keeps it simple. Give yourself quick and heathy treats, breakfast, lunch and dinners!
August 2017 It's the perfect time to read, check out and buy Marjorie Kramer's "The 2 Ingredient Cookbook: All The Recipes Have Only 2 Ingredients!" She writes, " I’ll let you in on a secret. I hate to cook. No really, I do. .."
Though I am sure that that's true (neither am I not much of a cook) I see much better usage for this book. Buy it for your college bound kid who does not live on campus. Everybody knows that college kids are "too busy" to go grocery shopping and also sometimes they run out of money and can't order pizza.
"The 2 Ingredient Cookbook" will solve all problems that could ensue from any of these two situations.
Fixing "Baked Avocado and Egg" might even get your college student to eat healthy. Kramer offers it all "Maple Soufflé" (made from eggs and maple syrup), "Breakfast cookies" and "Ice Cream Bread."
I guess that tells the story - why I think that this is a perfect gift for college student. Show me a college student who won't eat "Ice Cream Bread." Maybe the ones who prefer "Ranch Biscuits", "Corn Waffles" or "Parmesan Bread Sticks." 25 fabulous recipes in this book, it's a must have. 5 stars, Gisela Hausmann, author and blogger
