March 22, 2026I’m the type of reader who will ignore the last book in a series I’m loving because if I haven’t read it it’s not over. I did that so long with this series that it’s no longer the end. Never fear; the spinoff is here!
If I’d managed to overcome my dread about Justin Chase’s worst week being over sooner I may also have realised that there’s reason to hope I’ll get to witness future instalments of Murphy’s Law coming to pass in hilarious, humiliating fashion.
Meanwhile, welcome to Sunday! It’s looking like the cat-aclysm that’s been building all week is upon us.
The fate of the world rests on Justin Chase and, if you know how the rest of his week has gone (and you’d better because this book has spoilers galore), you’d be forgiven if you have concerns. You won’t be alone, though, because Justin’s infamy has gone stratospheric.
We may need to bring Mulder and Scully in on this one!
If you’re after an adventure that’s out of this world, enjoy chasies or have fond memories of Biff calling everyone (but mostly McFly’s) a butthead, this is the book for you.
This has been such a fun series! Even though she didn’t participate in today’s antics, Nan and her potty mouth remains my favourite character.
So, who’s the Big Bad of the series? To be purr-fectly honest, I’d tell you but the authors may cat-nap me and cat-apult me somewhere cat-agorically cat-astrophic if I attempt to meow-th another word about the subject.
Now, if someone would kindly direct me to the nearest store that stocks Ultimate Unicornflict…

The end got a bit weird and science fictiony. Thankfully no Marvin in the story and still enjoyable.
