It's okay, it covers all the basics, but it's not the book I'd direct anyone interested in the subject to.
The main problem is that it's all over the place, very disjointed. The main reason for this is that the author openly admits to simply cutting and pasting whole sections from other people's writings. There's no consistency or development of themes.
The only real way to learn cold reading is through example and demonstration, and that can only really be accomplished in a book if it's informal, free-flowing and immersive, bringing the principles alive for the reader. This doesn't. It's all there, it's just a bit flat and uninspiring. I actually finished reading it a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be bothered reviewing it till now, which is very unlike me. And now, a couple of weeks later, I find that so little of its contents have been retained that I might as well not have read it at all.
