Rate this book
He’s back in his hometown for Christmas. But will any place feel like home without her?

Brad Williams followed his dreams to the city for a career in architecture years ago. Now the single dad has made his fortune, and he’s determined to come back home to Trinity Falls this Christmas to raise his daughter in the small town he’s always missed, with family all around.

The only trouble is Jillian, his daughter’s nanny, who has been like a mother to the little girl since her mom ran out when she was a baby. But Josie is older now, and she doesn’t really need a nanny anymore, especially with so much family around.

When Josie has a hard time saying goodbye, Jillian agrees to stay with them in Trinity Falls for one last Christmas together before she heads back to the city to start her new life without them.

And that means Brad just has to make it a few more weeks without revealing his secret feelings for her. But the crush he harbors for Jillian consumes him more with every moment he spends with the sweet young woman who has been like an angel to his small family for all these years.

As the decorations appear around town, and the holiday hits flow from the radio, it’s becoming clearer and clearer to Brad that all he wants for Christmas is the one thing he can’t have.

Trinity Falls Sweet Romance is all about finding family – one clean & wholesome romance at a time.
From an ex-football star finding out about a secret baby, to a reserved tech genius who opens his heart to a small-town barista and her adopted daughter, you’ll lose yourself in these feel-good books celebrating love, family, and the very special small town community of Trinity Falls.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Architect's Christmas Nanny. It is a sweet, slow burn love story.

Brad Williams, a brilliant city architect, decided to move back home to Trinity Falls, in order to grow his daughter Josie with her cousins and grandparents. There's only one problem: he has to let go the nanny that conquered his and his daugther's heart. Fortunately they'll have a last Christmas together to say goodbye.

Jillian, Josie and Brad are likable and lovable.Throughout the story I found myself wanting things to work out for them.
They are perfect for each other, but their circumstances, as boss and employee, made them hide their true feelings until they fear to lose each other forever.

Clara Pines confirmed her talent to write long series without it getting boring and repetitive.

You will like this story that confirm how magic is the Christmas time.

When Brad Williams was left to raise his little baby after the mother left, he hires a nanny for his young daughter, Josie. The nanny, Jillian was young and he wasn’t sure she was up to the job. A decade later Jillian is still there holding the family together. After years of working as a architect in a big firm, he decided it’s time to go home to Trinity Falls to raise Josie around his family. He decides to let go of Jillian so she can have a life of her own. They will miss her but it is the right thing to do. Even though he had a crush on her, he knew he couldn’t cross that line. She made their home a true home. Jillian will go to spend the last Christmas with Josie and Brad. They’ll make it special for Josie. Jillian is going to miss Josie so much because she was there from the beginning and she feels like Josie is her own child. As the Christmas holidays approaches, Jillian just wished Brad would look at her like she’s a woman and he wants her. She knows it’s just a pipe dream. He could never feel anything for her but as an employee. Will there be a Christmas miracle? Will Jillian have to go? Brad did find her a nanny position with time off, good pay and even have time to write again. Will she accept it? Brad and Josie really doesn’t want her to leave. Can Brad change her mind? Will they confess their feelings for each other or will it take a wonderful little girl to make them see what’s right in front of them? The characters are wonderful. Brad deserves a second chance at love after he was hurt by Josie’s mother. Jillian deserves to have a family of her own, especially with Brad and Josie. Will the magic of Christmas and the love of family and friends bring to lost people together. I was rooting for Jillian, Brad and Josie. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

This is yet another beautiful story taking place in Trinity Falls at Christmas time. It always amazes me how Clara Pines manages to keep her stories fresh and engaging in a series with so many books taking place in the same small town at Christmas. In this case, Brad and his nine-year-old daughter Josie are moving back to Trinity Falls and leaving behind Jillian, the woman who has been their nanny since Josie was a small baby.  Although Brad has fallen for Jillian, he feels that his daughter is old enough that she no longer needs a nanny, and it is time for Jillian to have her own life and possibly return to her writing. Jillian is not brave enough to tell him that she has fallen for him as well. They will have one last Christmas together at the Williams homestead, before Jillian goes to work for another family. Sweet Josie is instrumental in getting her father and Jillian together. As is usual in this author's books, the extended family and other secondary characters help to create the feeling of warmth and love in this small town. I adore this series of clean romances and lovable characters.

What a wonderful book this was! Brad is an architect in a big firm in the city and has a daughter named Josie. Jillian has been with them since Josie was a baby and she is now in school and doesn’t need a nanny. Brad decides to move home to Trinity Falls and closer to family. He is excited to be able to go home, be near family and provide a stable and quieter environment for Josie. He even finds Jillian a new job as a nanny. Then life and small town living makes him realize the one thing he never counted on: love. As the town rallies to include Jillian in all the Christmas celebrations Jillian is at odds with saying goodbye to Brad and Josie. Fate has a way of intervening and Jillian, Brad and Josie might get their happy ever after. Jillian has always put Brad and Josie first and needs to learn to include herself in this equation. There are several scenes that will grab your heart strings. The adoption of Moose, the gingerbread house, and the library scene. I loved hearing the stories that Jillian and Josie wrote. This story has now become my favorite one. Absolutely 5+ stars

5 Star Review Architect’s Christmas Nanny (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Icicle Christmas #9) by Clara Pines

I love my visits to Trinity Falls and Architect’s Christmas Nanny was a wonderful addition to the series. Whenever I pick up a book in this series I know I am in for a romantic, sweet story set around the holidays and that it will leave me with a smile on my face.

Brad Williams has finally returned home to Trinity Falls to raise his adorable and sassy daughter Josie. However that means the woman who had been a part of their lives for the last 9 years, nanny Jillian is no longer needed.

This was a heartwarming, emotional story as Brad and Jillian try to give Josie one last Christmas together.

The problem is they have feelings for one another but neither are prepared to admit their feelings.

Could the magic of the holiday season bring a Christmas miracle for Brad, Jillian and Josie?

I have been waiting for this book since I read Cowboy's Christmas Librarian last year! I knew Ms. Pines would eventually give us Brad's story and I knew it would include Jillian! I've probably read a bookshelf full of books with the hero falling for the nanny, but I think this one is the slowest of slow burns I've ever read. Jillian has been taking care of Josie for Brad for nearly 10 years, both of them in love with each other and not knowing it. The payoff in this one was with the wait though!
I know I've mentioned Ms. Pines' skill in writing children into her stories before, but I have to mention it again in this review—her dialogue is perfect and the way she describes the kids' actions and facial expressions is spot on. So many times in books kids feel fake or are portrayed to act much older or younger than their stated age, but Ms. Pines continues to have kids in her books that ring true. I have to say the kids in her books are one of my favorite parts, and Josie is one of my favorite characters ❤️

Just when I think Ms. Pines can’t possibly give us another amazing storyline from Trinity Falls, she surprises me again. This is a wonderful heartwarming romance full of touching moments and lots of love (from both family by blood and by family by choice). Our main characters share the love and heart of a beautiful nine year old girl who wants nothing more than for her little family of three to stay together. But life isn’t that easy. Especially when her and her Dad are moving and leaving the only home she’s ever known and her nanny behind.

As they all plan out their futures, nothing is going as they secretly wish. Will Trinity Falls work its Christmas time magic? Can secret wishes really come true? This is an excellent addition to the series. A series this reader highly recommends.

Architect's Christmas Nanny: Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Icicle Christmas - Book 9
Charming!!
The author Clara Pines has done it again by grabbing my reading attention to a fictional town in Pennsylvania called Trinity Falls. Brad Williams left Trinity Falls when he went off to college to become an architect. He remained in the city in a high pressure architecture firm that took him out of the country at times. His wife decided that she didn’t want to be a wife and mother and left him and their new born daughter early on. In order to work he needed help but wanted to be an active parent to his little girl. Brad hired a young nanny who was the perfect person to love and care forever his daughter. Being this is a romance book you will want these two to be what the book is all about! Oh, but you must read it to find out! This is a truly charming story.

Book nine in the Trinity Falls series and it was just as beautiful and fun as the first. Being back in Trinity Falls for Christmas is like being on vacation and we have Brad Williams and his daughter, Josie, and nanny, Jillian, moving back home in time to enjoy the holidays with his family but there is an underlying attraction to Jillian and the fact that she wants to become a writer that has Brad severing his ties with Jillian in order for her to be free to pursue her dream. These books are truly magical because once again we experience a Christmas miracle when Brad finally confesses his love for Jillian and the three of them become a true family. Ms Pines always delivers a wonderful read with wonderful characters who fill your heart with so much love.

Another wonderful book set in Trinity Falls. I couldn't out this one down. Little Josie is such a delight! This book is jam packed full of the feels. This is a beautiful holiday romance. It does have it sad moments with this being Jillian's last Christmas with Josie and Brad. I love all the traditions they have to celebrate the holiday. Jillian makes the holiday so special for her little charge and her father. Can the magic of Trinity Falls works a Christmas miracle for Brad and Jillian. You can instantly feel the deep connection and love that Jillian, Josie, and Brad have created. Can they take big risks with their hearts to make dreams come true? I highly recommend this one! It shows the magic of the season!

Beautiful take on a workplace romance

Every visit to Trinity Falls makes the reader feel like she’s gone home for the holidays.
Brad and Jillian’s story is everything a Christmas romance should be. It’s sweet with swoon worthy kisses and lots of family drama.
Like most Trinity Falls books, the supporting characters try to steal the show. Josie adds so much to the warmth of this holiday read. Brad’s mom plays a great part in the story. The town of characters embraces this “family” and enhances the plot.
Great read for anyone needing a vacation but can’t afford a plane ticket or simply doesn’t have time to escape.

Once again we are back in Trinity Falls for another Christmas love story. We get another Williams siblings story. Jillian became nanny to Brad’s baby Josie for nine years. She loves her as if she was her own. She also loves Brad, but is afraid to tell him. When he moves back to Trinity Falls he doesn’t want to hold Jillian back from her dreams. Brad also loves her too, but is afraid to tell her. Will they tell each other how they feel or will they go their separate ways? I loved this heartwarming Christmas love story! I eagerly await Clara’s next book!

Sweet addition to the Trinity Falls Icicle Christmas series by Clara Pines.
Jillian is the nanny for Josie whose mother left when she was an infant. Jillian has worked for Brad, an architect, for almost a decade.
Now that Josie is nine and Brad is moving back to live closer to his family, they really don’t need a nanny anymore. Jillian is invited to have “one last Christmas“ together in Pennsylvania.
Will they finally admit their true feelings for each other?

Brad has had Jillian as his daughter’s nanny since she was a couple months old. Now he is moving back home and arranging Jillian to be a nanny for another family. However Jillian and Brad have secretly loved each other for years. Their path to each other makes the best story.

Love this series.

Perfect holiday book!

This is a perfect story to read during the holidays! It's frustrating when the main characters assume to know what the others are thinking and jump to conclusions. But everything worked out well!

Great story!

What a sweet, fun read! I enjoyed every bit of it! The fumbling way the two main characters stumbled around trying to keep their feelings secret was definitely a laugh. Great read!
