If you are a parent of prodigals, you need to read this book!
As I traveled each chapter with the author, I laughed, I cried, and I found a kindred spirit. Someone who understands my pain and grief, my struggles and shame, my doubts and fears, my hopes and dreams. I discovered that I was not alone in my desire to be faithful to God, to love my children, and not be torn between the two. I felt as if someone had peered into the recesses of my heart and mind and written a book about what they found there. I am determined to get out of the pit of self-pity and fight for my children.
Sound the battle cry! Love goes to war!

If I could gove 10 stars, I would! As a mother of adult children, I question if I was a good enough mother, every mistake I made is magnified. My sons are doing well is many ways, but their relationship with God is not where I would like it to be. This book helps me forgive myself but gives me practical advice moving forward to pray for my sons.

A book for all moms

I most appreciate this author's honesty. We dream of perfect kids but soon we realize our kids have freewill and make choices contrary to out hopes and dreams. We blame ourselves. But God holds the spiritual remedy and we must trust God to work in the hearts of our children. I recommend this book to all moms but especially those of prodigals.
