About the author

Kago Shintarō ( 駕籠真太郎) is a Japanese illustrator and manga artist. Kano was born in Tokyo in 1969. He debuted in 1988 on the magazine COMIC BOX. Since then his comics, usually short stories, have been published in several adult manga magazines, gaining him considerable popularity around the world.
Kago specialises in ero-guro, a Japanese visual genre that puts its focus on eroticism, sexual corruption, and grotesque body horror. Many of Kago's manga have strongly satirical overtones, and deal with grotesque subjects such as extreme sex, scatology and body modification. His unique style has been called "fashionable paranoia".

That was truly horrifying, in a good way though.
Very grotesque and nightmarish!
A short story, not complicated at all like the first issue, but still keeping the reader on the edge.
And the artwork was stunning of course!

A loose follow up to "Princess of the Never-Ending Castle", Shintarō Kago explores the world of body horror meets architectural awe once again. While I didn't find this story to be as imaginative as the previous one, the artwork still is rampant with psychedlia, sexual perversion and violence but rendered with brilliant, mind-bending compositions. While this is mostly grotesque nonsense, the sheer imagination behind Kago's Never-Ending Castle books is admirable. It's indisputable that Kago is the master of these kinds of absurd and whimsical narratives, and his unapologetic ero guro style makes for some truly distinctive comics overall.

Στην αρχή ήμουν αναποφάσιστη για το αν θα άξιζε να το διαβάσω μιας και το πρώτο βιβλίο στέκει μόνο του. Δε χρειαζόταν να έχει συνέχεια.
Κι όμως τελικά με εξέπληξε και μ'άρεσε πάρα πολύ.
