This was cute, pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a shifter romance. I was pretty confused about why the MMC refused to go on his “hunting” trip, though, if not going had such potentially dire consequences. It's also insta love, which isn't surprising since it's a novella, but it seemed a little far fetched to me. They're really cute together though and the spicy scenes were very nice 😏

My Neighbor is a Wolf by Delanie Walsh is an adorable PNR novella. It’s a fast fun read full of romance, lovable characters, mystery, and all the cozy healing vibes you need. The FMC, Rachel, is the picture of strength and seeing her from start to finish was amazing. Hunter, the MMC, is strength incarnate and exists for Rachel which was so nice. Normally the instalove trope isn’t my favorite, but it was perfect in this novella. There were a couple of moments where I would have selfishly enjoyed more details, but with it being a novella and the length any more could have been too much. The novella took a couple hours to read keeping me completely captivated. I definitely recommend “My Neighbor is a Wolf” and look forward to Delanie Walsh’s future releases.

Have you ever had a neighbor come to your rescue in a moment of need? Yeah, me either... But Rachael sure has. And Hunter is one delectable neighbor to have coming to your rescue.
My Neighbor is a Wolf is a quick read, with it being novella length - but it packs a whirlwind romance and a punch of relatability into just 106 pages. Please be mindful of the content if you have triggers and please check those out. I devoured this novella in one sitting, and it was a great way to curl up with a read that I wanted to finish in one go.
Hunter and Rachael have clear chemistry, and he saves her which is one of my favorite tropes. I also like the elements of him being vulnerable about his wolf side and how that impacts his life. We love a vulnerable man in romance books.
As someone who left an abusive relationship earlier this year, and found the man of my dreams shortly after walking away - this novella hit home & it was easy for me to put myself in Rachael's shoes. Thank goodness for happily ever after, in books and reality. ♡

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 for me. This was a cute little shifter romance with some spice and lots of heartfelt care. Very fast paced falling in love moments, which is expected in a novella. Overall an easy read.

Super cute, sweet, and spicy read! Loved the story, and the spice was oh so yummy! Enjoyed all the characters (except Chad) and would love to read about more of this little found family. Definitely recommend!

This was such a cute shifter romance! It has a few dark scenes but otherwise it's a shifter romance to make your heart a little lighter. I will definitely buy a shelf trophy for my book shelves.

A novella that is brisk but paced well for us to really like this couple very quickly! I feel like this is a double episode of supernatural series like "Being Human".
Keeping in mind this is insta love, I still got an especially well rounded feel to Hunter, our Wolf shifter. He was such a Cinnamon Roll, sweet, caring and doting to his neighbor crush turned love interest, Rachael. She's quickly accepting of his world but that's easier to understand since she literally saw him shift in front of her.
Plot points such as this made pragmatic shortcuts that worked well for a short story such as this but I felt still quite connected to our leads and cared for them. They were so sweet together!
This hits the spot for a quick cozy read that's lighter hearted with a supernatural twist.

If you’re looking for a quick, spicy, and utterly feral read, this one delivers everything your TBR cravings could want.
This novella is stuffed with lust, tension, mate vibes, and some of the best aftercare I’ve seen in a short spicy read. Delaine really said “45-minute read? Let’s still hit every box on the checklist”, and she did.

This was such a fun, sexy, butterfly-inducing short read!
I loved that the story contained not only romance, but also included a really intense antagonist/villain, as well as some very well developed side-characters.
With just over 100 pages, this story packs an intense punch in a small package.
There was not a single point in the story where I didn’t feel disconnect from the characters, and the storyline never slowed or veered off track. I loved how the author was able to develop the side characters so well and integrate them into the life of the main characters. The supporting characters really create an amazing depth to the story, and oftentimes underdeveloped supporting characters will break a whole novel by making it fall flat. In this case, the well-developed supporting characters created an awesome connection to this magical world, and really helped to throw the reader right into the apartment building.
I really enjoyed the communication between the two main characters, and the conflict between them was a good twist.
All in all, this short story is a hit (and it’s HOT! The open-door scenes are boiling!)

Rachel’s boyfriend comes over later one night. However instead of just getting into bed or laying on the couch like he usually does he starts attacking Rachel. Hunter hears all the noise of course and comes up to her rescue. However during the struggles Rachel sees Hunters eyes change color. She isn't sure what he is or if he is human
Hunter takes care of Rachel a few days in his apartment. They have wild chemistry together and are instantly connected with each other.
Hunter reveals his true self to Rachel and she knew he was already different she just didn’t image how different.
I didn’t like the instant sex they started having after talking for 10 minutes to each other. They barely know each other but let’s have wild sex.

This novella is a fast-burning flame - one of those blink-and-they’re-mated tales that dives headfirst into the bond between Hunter and Rachael. If you’re a fan of insta-love and true mates with a side of small-town charm, this one will hit the mark.
The relationship develops quickly (as expected in a novella), and while I enjoyed the sweet touches and swoony moments, there was a hiccup that threw me off my flight path. Hunter’s whole hang-up about leaving for a hunting trip left me scratching my scales - especially since he already told her the reason for his packed bags back in chapter five. Later on, it’s treated like that conversation never happened, and I had to double back to make sure I didn’t imagine it.
Still, it was a charming little read. I couldn’t help but daydream about my own true love’s kiss moment - maybe without the wolf complications, though.

A super quick and easy read. Was very very short. The characters are likable and the side characters left me wanting to know more about them. I would love to have more information about the two different worlds being merged together. The romance moved so quickly that I was left disappointed when it was over because I wanted more. The connection was instant and quick.

I did enjoy it but the beginning seemed a little rough plot wise to me. But the more I got into the more invested in the book I was. This is a novella so everything is fast paced, insta love. Please read **TW** at the beginning this has some D-V not by MMC.

My Neighbor is A Wolf is a short story about a wolf shifter and his neighbor who is a human. After her life is threatened he vows to protect her and becomes possive over her. However, as the full moon drawers closer, trouble in paradise arises due to an old family curse. As they navigate their feelings through out the week in every spot in his apartment, the looming dread of Saturday quickly threatens everything the MMC has worked for with the FMC.
If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary that is short and, in my opinion, heavy on the smut. This book is the one for you. While it isn't something I'd normally read, due to size, I'd recommend it to someone looking to fill a slump quickly.

And Thor seems to have some great importance!!! Can’t wait to see what the future holds!!

Rachel and Hunter live in the same building. Unbeknownst to Rachel there are supernatural beings that also occupy the building. Hunter is a wolf shifter that has been admiring Rachel from a distance. Hunter rescues Rachel out of a bad situation one night in her apartment and then takes her back to his apartment to care for her. This was a sweet paranormal insta love romance with a curvy FMC and Hunter is a cinnamon roll MMC. I really enjoyed both MMCs POV. This one definitely hit the sweet and sinful spot. I highly recommend it.

A steamy, quick read, this book was perfect for an evening.
In this world, shifters and other paranormal beings are not widely known, but they do live in the human's world. Shifter Hunter lives in an apartment building that is a mix of both others and humans. His upstairs neighbor, Rachael, is a human he'd like to get to know better, except she has a boyfriend. Not a great one, but one nonetheless. And Hunter keeps his distance.

Wow just wow!!!
Being a curvy girl it was refreshing to read a book and have a man treat her like the goddess we all are no matter what shape we are!!!
I seriously need a “Hunter” in my life!!

This is about a shape shifter whose family has been cursed by a witch and they must hunt every full moon if they don’t the next time they shift that will be the way they stay.
Rachel has an abusive bf who is rescued by Hunter
This might be a short story but it has you hooked from the first line!!!

When the tw list has “Pinch of primal chase with breeding” I am 💯 a yes, please give the book.
My first thought after reading my neighbour is a wolf was, It’s pure smut and I loved it.
This book was short ,sweet ,and spicy. Hunter worship’s Rachel. He’s got an alpha vibe and a dirty mouth, that made my brain melt and some drool slip out the side of my mouth. Rachel is witty and kind. I really enjoyed her character.
Let’s talk about the knotting, I am here for it. That is all.
This was a fun read and takes you into another world. 5/5 would recommend and would read again!

If you are looking for a quick, fun, spicy read look no further!
If you like an overprotective main character, who accidentally breaks a family curse, you will love Hunter. If you like a character that is learning her self worth, and learning that she deserves to be loved, then Rachael is your gal! You will love these two, I promise!
This story does bring Azalea and Theo from Pumpkin Spice and Cauldrons of Nice by RL Atkinson, but you do not need to read them together to know what’s going on 💜

My Neighbor is a Wolf by Delanie Walsh was such a great read I was in a book slump and this Novella pulled me out of it!! But don’t let the book cover fool you because it is not that sweet and innocent. the characters are absolutely lovable. The spice in this book is on POINT!🌶️ I don’t usually read shaped shifting, but this book is definitely a favorite of mine. I highly recommend you read it. It’s a short fast paced read.

I don't give out 5 stars that often, so trust me when I say this was GREAT!
It's a quick read- a steamy, shifter novella that may be short in pages, but definitely not short on the spice.
Hunter is absolutely adorable and smouldering! He has it bad for Rachel - his gorgeous, curvy nieghbour.
I can't say too much more, or I'd give too much away - the book takes place over the course of three days - most of which are spent in bed ;)

Fun and quick read. Rachael and Hunter live in the same building but she doesn't realize that there are supernatural beings among them. Or that Hunter is a Wolf shifter. They both have had an attraction from afar but Rachael was in a relationship. When Hunter comes to her rescue one night, he takes he from his apartment to recover and she learns about his world. Can she accept him for who he is?

I was lucky enough to get this book as an arc. It was a cute and fun quick read. I absolutely loved Hunter and Rachel, but I must be honest, Thor stole the title of favorite character. A nice quick novella with an mmc who gives off "touch her and ☠️ vibes" while also being a giant softy for the fmc. A good amount of spice 🥵 and scenes that will make you blush. Did I mention we get an amazing CURVY fmc! All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish!

Very quick fast paced novella that has insta love and lust. Hunter is the wolf and he’s interesting. Good guy just very in his own head, especially when some angst happens. Also not a lot of plot just smut. Loved Benny and his cat Thor, they were adorable
