Discover the characters, creatures and inspiration behind the storyline of NBC's hit-series, Grimm! From the producers of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Grimm features Portland homicide detective Nick Buckhardt, as he discovers he's descended from a long line of "Grimms," who are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the creatures of myth. With newly awoken abilities to detect the evil lurking among us, Nick struggles to keep his old life separate and safe as he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries of the Grimm world.
I finished all the season in Netflix and was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was free so nothing to lose. Caution - If you are not familiar with some of the concept, this could end up confusing but since it is free, I'd definitely recommend to give it a try.
Tried this freebie, even though the Grimm series didn't do it for me. Comic doesn't either. In part, it is the male chosen one - though there are kick ass women in the series, part of it is it is too much like Buffy but not as good (at least to me). Anyway, the comic is like the series, so if you like the series, you should like this.
O.M.G. ..... this was awesome! Sigh .... I love my Grimm but I have been sadly deprived of it due to stupid local TV programming. :( I squealed when I found this graphic novel on Kindle. Fabulous plot that was completely new teamed with stunning illustrations makes this a must for not only Grimm fans but for those starting out with the series. This is going to be one of the few graphic novels that I won't mind paying hard cash for. Highly Recommended.
I like this on iPad. I can swipe through it and see every panel close up in the order the writers wanted it read. Very nice layout, great art, story parallel to tv series.
Sorry too small for my kindle, pics superb but couldn't read
Great comic book, pictures glossy but couldn't read the bubbles. I can understand why people buy these magazines as plenty of work has gone into publishing this.
I loved it. I think I loved how the whole story was constructed in a sequential manner and at the same time giving a short and Crisp killer story.
Loved the bright and chirpy graphics which when required took on a dark tone and otherwise kept a bright and vivid layout making it easy and almost fun to sail through the story
Loved the artwork and loved the narration as well.
