There wasn’t anything particularly groundbreaking in this book. Some of the information was repetitive and I felt as though a lot of the info was, well…. common sense? A lot of the information in this book could be applied to just about any child whether they are gifted or not. However, if you’re new to the whole idea of giftedness/pursuing personal excellence then I suppose this would be a good place to start. The book was short but informative. I would have appreciated some more specific suggestions and ideas - a lot of the tips and suggestions were very broad.
I was glad that homeschooling was listed as a credible option for educating a gifted child. Although there was a much stronger emphasis on traditional forms of education.
Overall, it the book was short and insightful but nothing too profound.
