I love getting to see more of Capri and Thatcher. If you enjoyed their story, Demons, then you’re going to love this little glimpse into their lives. Thatcher really is the ultimate red flag book boyfriend, he’s absolutely crazy, but I’m here for it!!

Mixed feelings

I'm glad Thatcher got his two books but it was disappointing in a way. I was hoping there would be an explanation as to why he is the way he is. This book kind of had an explanation but I was just expecting more. One thing I have noticed about the guys from the Georgia branch is they seem to be more territorial and obsessive about their women than the guys from the other branches. I would give this book 2.5 stars

Okay read but could have just extended the orginal book. I love all the Abbi Glines books but I expected more of a climax and for it to be drawn out… this just wasn’t it.

As soon as I finished Legions
Why? Because...

Holy Hades!!!
This had it all and then some
Mafia cowboys that will steal your soul and you will thank them for it
Sweet, not-so-innocent country girls - who know how to hold their own
Brothers who truly stand together in the darkest of times - Even when they are the creators of those cloud-covered moments
The characters are so vivid.
The storyline was easy to follow and engaging. There were times I was literally white-knuckling my reader and that was between all the "HOLY CHIT" and "NONONO" moments

"I can't promise you I won't do things you don't like. But I can swear to you that I will worship you in this life and follow your sweet ass into the next"

Chemistry, that was off the fracking charts!

I am excited to go back to the beginning of this series
Meet the brothers and their better halves

I'm so glad that Abbi came out with a second book for Thatcher and Capri. I am obsessed with her mafia romance series. I can always expect suspense, excitement, spice, and emotional pull towards her characters. This continued short story had it all, and I was hooked on every page!

In the first book, Demon's, we finally get to see Thatcher's life and all of his unhinged self. If you've read Gage's book, Thatcher makes him seem calm.

He has an obsession with the Preacher's daughter, Capri. He has stalked her for years. Even has her working as a jocky at his family's stable. It was always a look, but don't touch situation. Made sure she remained "pure." No one could touch her, mistreat her, or look at her wrong without Thatcher losing it.

Until Capri became aware of it and took matters into her own hands... Thank God! The first book had me dying of angst and pure temptation. You need to read the first book before reading this one.

I'm so happy we get to see me into their lives in this book. The first book set up their relationship, but left you feeling like you needed more. This book brings the more! More spice, more drama, more craziness, more secrets, and the dirty laundry... it was perfect!

Capri loves Thatcher and is aware that he is a little unhinged. That little though doesn't even cover it. She figures out that he is off the charts crazy when it comes to her. It makes her feel like she is the one to blame.

Everyone sees Thatcher as detached with no emotions. Capri sees the truth though and knows his emotions run deep and her only shows his vulnerability when he's with her.

Capri has to learn to love and take him as he is, or leave him and try to save her own sanity. Thatcher will never let her go, though. He had no boundaries when it comes to his stalking of his "Little Doll."

When trouble comes knocking at Capri's door and her family is in trouble, will she let Thatcher in or guard her heart tightly? Secrets are held and come out all at once when it feels like Capri is going to break. Can she handle it all, or leave Thatcher for good?

So excited for Abbi to continue Thatcher & Capri’s story! This was a short and quick read but was packed full with the typical components that we love from Abbi’s books. While we got their love story in the first book, this novella really shows what happens afterwards and more of their routine after their HEA. We also see Capri starting to really get to know and understand Thatcher better than just the surface and get to know him deeper in his scars and personality. I wasn’t expecting the twists and turns within Capri’s family and how this book focused more on her drama rather than the family’s drama and I was not expecting to see how Thatcher really swooped in and fixed things out of his love for Capri rather than letting the worst happen to everyone. I loved these two and can’t wait for more from Abbi!

once it hit my email I download and started reading it and i just couldnt stop. Thatcher is possessive and loves Capri bexause she show him unconditional love what he was missing from his own mother. when Capri find out what Thatcher did she got scare but she still loves him when she find out the secrets her father been hiding she been devastated and that when you feel sorry for her mother. i love that Capri confronted Thatcher mother for the way he treats Thatcher like he doesnt deserve love and im so happy she stand up for him and she made sure that she understood the problem was with thatcher mom because she gave up on him. this was the perfect ending to them.

Oh my days these books are like crack! I started reading this morning during work mind you - that’s how much I couldn’t wait! I adore Thatcher - always have and Capri is definitely his other half. This was a nice addition and I was so sad to get to the end 🥲.

We get a little bit more of Thatcher and Capri and we definitely dive a little bit deeper into his craziness and how far it will go! Too far? Abbi Glines pushes it and I’m here for it!
This is a good addition to this Mafia world and sometimes things you don’t plan, end up being just what you need.

Legions ( Georgia Smoke Series book 7 ) Have you ever come across a book or a series that just hooked you in a way no other has for a very long time ? That you found yourself not only falling completely in love with from the very first page but had the ability to make you feel so many different emotions you never saw coming? Everything from being speechless, to yelling outta pure frustration to smiling and laughing then crying like a baby all while cheering so freaking hard !!!Kinda like being on the craziest ride at the amusement park !!! you know that feeling you get in your stomach from being excited and nervous at the same time - the anticipation of whats to come next ? Well this series is without a doubt that series for me and has delivered all of the above in spades . Truth be told , if you had asked me to choose a favorite couple / couples story prior to reading Legions I really do not think I could have - because each couple has been so different, but something about Capri and Thatcher well I just felt such a pull that there are no words to describe . Their relationship was anything but easy in fact it was at times very complex . One of the things I loved most though was how obsessed Thatcher was and is with Capri - the way he would do anything absolutely anything to protect the woman he loved and to ensure her happiness. Intrigue , suspense, secrets, revelations, obstacles, drama , love , passion, angst , humor , witty banter, heartbreaking and heartfelt moments, family and friendships. It has it all in spades ♠️

When we meet back up Thatcher and Capri she is living with Thatcher and still working for the Shepherds has a horse Jockey. While working at the stables Capri over hears some things about Thatcher that is a little disturbing. Capri has to decide if she can live the truths and love Thatcher for all that he is.

Thatcher is slowing opening himself up to Capri and trusting her to love him with all demons. While Capri and Thatcher are figuring out to love each and navigate life. Capri gets a phen call from her childhood best friend Esther that turns her world upside down.

I honestly cant praise this book enough. With each book of this series Abbi just keeps making them better. I will always love Thatcher and Capri. I wish I could go back and read both books again for the first time. I love them so much and they will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Legions is everything and more! Abbi Glines was asked to give the fans more of Thatcher and Capri and she does not disappoint! Thatcher's crazy is front and center. He is unable to be rational when it comes to Capri. She is his light, his warmth. And also, the only person not afraid of him.

Thatcher has been the most mysterious and unhinged one of the Georgia Smoke men. Always quiet but also the most dangerous. Detached, unhinged and unemotional. His crazy is on a whole other level. BUT... he has a kryptonite, and her name is Capri.

The demon inside me slowly morphing into a legion.

Legions is a quick novella that was a sexy and fun compliment to Demons. There is also a bit of a twist/side story that rounded out the rest of Thatcher and Capri's story.

Abbi Glines is writing for the fans! She is releasing many more books in all of the new series. Many are on KU and coming to Kindle Unlimited! I am so excited! They are my go-to for spicy, mafia/MC romance!

Thatcher Shepherd is the kind of character who lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished reading—intense, unrelenting, and utterly captivating. It’s amazing when an author can deliver not only what fans hope for but exceed their expectations, and this is what Abbi did just that with Legions.

Thatcher and Capri's chemistry and his unwavering devotion make them an unforgettable pairing.
Legions takes the intensity of Capri and Thatcher's relationship to new heights! Thatcher's all-consuming love and obsession for Capri make for a gripping dynamic, and it’s intriguing how Capri’s reaction to his extremes adds another layer of tension and emotion. Their deep connection, especially with Capri accepting his emotional scars, seems to solidify them as a perfect but complex match.

The novella's quick pace and mix of steamy romance with an intriguing twist make it a great follow-up to Demons, keeping fans engaged while rounding out the couple's story.

This is the story of Capri and Thatcher. If you have been reading the Georgia Smoke Series, then you have met them in Demons. If you have not then I highly recommend that book. I love loved every single book in that series and this one is getting to see two great characters again. Capri and Thatcher have really been though it together and if you have met them then you know that things have been complicated. Now they are living together and she is working at the stables with the race horses. Thatcher is Thatcher still. Obsessed as all get out with Capri. The man will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and you certainly don't even look at his girl. He is as unhinged as he was the last time we saw him. Now we are getting more of Capri's family. Secrets come out in a totally unexpected way that she had no clue about concerning Thatchers. Then her family has a major crisis and I have to say that I loved seeing her mom blossom. This was a great novella and great addition to this series.

Legions by Abbi Glines is a short novella that centers on Thatcher and Capri. I love this series; Thatcher and Capri are my favorite couple in this series. This book is a Southern Mafia dark romance and touches on dark themes and topics. I devoured this little gem in one day; I couldn't put it down until I reached the end. This book is part of a series and can not be read as a standalone; you will need to read Demons to understand what is going on in this book. I also recommend starting with Slay in the Georgia Smoke Series. This storyline is heartbreaking and heartwarming. I love the look into Thatcher and his reasons for doing what he does for Capri. Capri is still headstrong and determined. She is his calming force, and I loved his intense obsession and possessive streak he has with her. Nothing and no one could or would stand in his way to get to Capri and keep her. Abbi Glines has created a series that I am obsessed with. I love her gritty writing style, the Alpha males she creates, and the strong BAMF women that bring these men to their knees.-By Brooke

While I loved Demons (the start of Thatcher and Capri’s story), and I absolutely did love the book, it did feel a little like there was more to their story. Clearly Abbi Glines agreed with us because she came out with this new novella to wrap up their story and dive a bit deeper into their story.

Capri and Thatcher have been together for about 6 months when this story picks up. Thatcher is still completely unhinged but Capri is able to talk him a bit off the ledge before he eventually goes crazy, at least most of the time. There is also some information given around Capri’s family and even more back story is provided.

I definitely recommend reading book 5 in this series first or there will be a good amount of things that will have you a bit confused. I definitely recommend this novella and the series as a whole. I found this series thru a book friend and now must read everything that Abbi Glines has now written.

If you felt Demons wasn’t the whole story of Thatcher and Capri, Legions, the last book in the Georgia Smoke southern mafia series by Abbi Glines, will give you some closure. In this book, Capri learned more about the lengths Thatcher had gone to “protect” Capri in the past as well as the present. Although he was a very violent man, he would even change himself to ensure her happiness. This novella was a short, but pretty emotional, glimpse into the life that Capri shared with Thatcher as she faced some of the decisions he had made to keep her safe. It also resolved issues regarding her relationship with her parents. It was a deep dive into Thatcher’s thought process that Capri had never done before, and it was interesting to read about how she processed it and the decisions that she made. This book will not work as a stand-alone novella, and Demons should be read first. These books will appeal to readers who enjoy dark mafia romance stories with obsessive alpha-male MMC.

If you loved Thatcher and Capri in "Demons", this novella is gonna be your jam. It's like peeking behind the curtain of their crazy intense relationship. Thatcher is still that unhinged, protective alpha who would literally do ANYTHING for Capri - and I mean ANYTHING.
What's awesome is seeing Capri hold her own. She's not just taking Thatcher's drama; she's processing it, pushing back, and really understanding the crazy lengths he's gone to keep her safe. Their relationship feels like it gets even stronger, which I didn't even think was possible!
Pro tip: Definitely read "Demons" first, or you'll be totally lost. This isn't a standalone story - it's like the bonus epilogue for hardcore fans of their romance.
If you're into dark mafia romance where the couple is ride-or-die for each other, this is 100% your book. Glines nails the emotional complexity and keeps you totally hooked. Seriously can't get enough of these two!

Thatcher and Capri continue to learn more about each other in this amazing sequel to Demons.
Capri loves Thatcher, but doesn’t like that he feels the need to hurt those that have gotten too close for comfort.
Thatcher has no remorse for those he hurts until it comes to Capri and possibly losing her. Thatcher will do anything to keep her, even if it means holding himself back from doing what comes second nature to him.
In this sequel, you really get to know how much Thatcher loves Capri and is willing to do for her. He learns to take her feelings, thoughts, emotions into consideration before doing something that could risk losing her again.
And Capri shows his family and friends that he’s not an emotionless man. He just never knew how to express himself without getting judged by those close to him.
When it comes to family drama and lies, Thatcher and Capri truly step up to be there for one another.

What can I really say about this fabulous series. Again we dip into the lives of a disturbed, misunderstood and deeply dark Thatcher Shepherd. He goes still above and beyond protection of Capri Jewel, but she has a revelationary moment. Some of the people that have come in contact with Capri and over stepped the mark may have met either an untimely death or a nasty accident, involving loosing body parts. Capri is devastated to learn of such things, and a confrontation takes place. The relationship between these two is no typical but does contain the strongest love and trust, understanding and compromising, and Thatchers character becomes far more understandable. Previous characters are developed too. Such as Capri’s father and mother. Revenge is a dish best eaten cold. In all a fabulous story. Dark in places, and suitably amusing , with many twists, but a fabulous HEA. This series just goes from strength to strength.

Thatcher stole my heart

Ok so I was not a big fan of Thatcher in Demons but this book showed a different side of him and I totally fell in love. I understood his prevuous actions better and loved how he had a softer side when it came to Capri. His obsession and unhinged behavior regarding her was endearing and so swoony.
I loved how Capri loved Thatcher unconditionally even after learning about certain things he did for her. She did not judge him but understood him and accepted him as he was demons and all. I enjoyed their developing relationship. They were just as hot and steamy together in this book as the previous one.
This book clarified many incidents and gave an entire picture as to why Thatcher acted the way he did in many instances.
This book was well written, entertaining and very steamy. I absolutely enjoyed it and couldn't put it down.

This wasn't nearly long enough for me. I enjoyed Thatcher a ton. I'd have to say he's my favorite from the series thus far with Sebastian and Storm in close second. Capri brings a softeness to Thatcher that isn't seen often. She is his soft spot. He has and will do anything for Capri. He's proven that time and time again. There's a bit of tension between them this book simply because she finds out about some of the extremes that Thatcher has gone to protect her. She even finds out a lot more about her father in this one. Thatcher is there every step of the way to make sure Capri is alright, even if she didn't want him to be there. He couldn't seem to help himself when it comes to Capri. While I could have dealt with a longer book, this was still great and answered all the lingering questions I had about Capri and Thatcher. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

This line right here!!!! This is why Abbi had to add just a little more to Thatcher and Capri’s story! I always felt Demons left some things unfinished.. I needed more and Abbi delivered with Legions!
Thatcher’s obsession with Capri is still front and center, but with that obsession comes secrets that are meant to protect her. Her obliviousness finally comes to an end.. but honestly ignorance is bliss because our little Capri is not ready for what awaits in the shadows..
Such a great twist for this book Abbi!!! I was not expecting it at all! We begged for more and you plopped that puppy on a sliver platter and said “here you go”

This is more of Capri and Thatcher's story. This is a short novella that you have to at least read Demons before reading this or you will not understand parts of the story or any background. This is a great follow up for that story and gets you current on these two. Thatcher is hos own brand of crazy and it shows.

Legions is a continuation of the story of Thatcher and Capri. The most enigmatic and complex characters, Thatcher is one of my favourite in this series. Mystery surrounds him and it’s a thing of beauty to watch it all be unveiled. Capri’s character epitomises strength and the revealing of a deeply beautiful soul.

A captivating and stimulating read that ticks all the boxes and kept me riveted instantly. It’s a story I couldn’t put down. There is always an element of drama and originality. No story is the same and the intertwining of characters coming together spectacularly is an unforgettable experience. There is something new to learn at every turn of the page. A play on words that keeps the audience engaged and bewitched. A truly intriguing and moving story. 5 stars.

Be ready for a peek behind the curtain of Thatcher’s protective, obsessive, “Touch Her and ☠️” ways, as well as their smoking hot chemistry!! I was glued to the pages for all of the emotional, angsty, and dark twists and turns that were packed into this fast-paced novella. I can’t get enough of this family that lives by their own rules, and takes care of those they love no matter what! My mind was blown by where the story went, but man, what great plot twists! I was late to the game with this series, but now I can’t get enough!!
