Thor returns to the 616 after letting Rob Liefeld write him in Heroes Reborn. Asgard is in shanbles and everyone is missing. He merges with a paramedic after not saving his life and doesn't really even try to maintain the human side of his life. Lots of changes in Thor's life. The stories aren't bad. They focus on these new dark Kirbyian Gods a lot. John Romita Jr.'s art is pretty, pretty good.
Believe it or not, this was actually the first Thor #1. His original series was Journey into Mystery.
