Stefanie Caponi (she/her) is an intuitive writer and illustrator. She has been reading tarot for over twenty years, and established her business as a professional tarot reader after creating her first tarot deck, The Moon Void Tarot. Her work is centered around exploring shadow work, healing, and creativity using tarot as a vehicle to access the hidden realms of the self. In addition to her work with tarot, she also writes monthly horoscopes for Swell by Dame products. Stefanie resides in Brooklyn with her partner and their two cats.
I have to say, I absolutely love Stepfanie’s book. It is one of the best books I've read. It feels like she’s your friend, someone comforts you, guides you and teaches you. She does not sugarcoat the reality of manifestation.
I’ve struggled with the concept of manifestation for years. Sometimes I’d watch people on Instagram sharing their manifestations, like traveling the world, marrying their soul partner, or buying a beautiful home. It made me wonder if something was wrong with me and why my manifestations weren’t working.
Then I came across a Youtube podcast from Jay Shetty, where he said manifestation doesn’t have to be external, it can be internal too. That really clicked for me. I started reflecting on all the internal changes I've made. For example, I became more aware of my behavior and patterns. I paid attention to how I engage with people and realize my relationships with people often reflect my inner world and my sense of worthiness.
I took yoga classes for inner healing, alignment, and to truly listen to my body. I’ve read books to work on my self-love and sense of worth. I’ve also become more mindful of the words I use and the energy I bring into my interactions.
I’ve also made some difficult changes in my relationships. I’ve set boundaries, said no, and let go of people who no longer align with my energy. I’ve realized the people I surround myself with reflect where I am within myself, so I’ve shifted my mindset to make sure I'm treated with respect, kindness, and love.
Of course, this journey hasn’t been easy. It led to moments of grief, heartbreak, and doubts, questioning if I made the right decisions or if I was being too harsh. I’ve been a people-pleaser most of my life but I’ve worked so hard to get where I am today, and I’m humbly proud of myself.
They might seem like small changes, but to me they are powerful manifestations worth celebrating. This circle backs to Stefanie’s point as she quoted:
“Most manifestations are the culmination of internal shifts and small aligned action steps that compound over time rather than a tectonic shift that disrupts everything around you like a quantum leap. Still, when a manifestation comes through in this way, it can sometimes feel anticlimactic.” 194
“Both grief and celebration can coexist. Life is paradoxical” 195
If you’ve ever felt like your manifestations aren’t working, this book will gently remind you to look within. You might already be living them.
The best part is how tarot can be incorporated into your manifestation. I don’t think I’ve seen or heard of anything that incorporates the two of tarot and manifestation in this way. I’m so excited to try it for myself, to work my shadows, to understand what might be blocking me, and to find motivation to turn my dream into reality.
Stefanie is right about one thing - “the universe operates on divine time, not human time, even if it has been years…The universe is not going to send you something you aren’t ready to receive.”
To conclude, one of Stefanie’s lines really stayed with me: “...manifestation is so much more than about getting what you want. It truly is becoming who you were meant to be.”
You are so much more and your presence in this world matters. You contribute to people and to the world in ways you might not always see.
Thank you Stefanine for this beautiful book. Looking forward to working on these practices.
I was surprised to find how I relate to the tarot improved after reading this. That's never happened before. Stefani was able to pull off multiple manifestation techniques in a way that makes this a feasible lifestyle guide too. I'm impressed, and happy!
