📚ARC Review: Delicate Storm by Katherine Jay📚
•Rate:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
✨About the Characters:
Paige – She’s independent, intelligent, and has a spark that makes her truly shine. Despite growing up in a wealthy family, she was raised to value hard work and never takes anything for granted. She’s determined and resilient, always pushing forward no matter what life throws her way. What I loved most about Paige is how deeply she cares—whether it’s for Isaac, Easton, or her friends. She doesn’t want to let people down, and she’s always there when they need her, especially Easton. Their connection is something special, and the way she loves him is so pure and strong.
Easton – The ultimate grump with a heart of gold. At first glance, he’s moody and standoffish, but beneath that exterior, he’s thoughtful, protective, and surprisingly gentle in his own way. He has a tough past, but his love for his son, Isaac, is unwavering. He would do anything for him, which instantly made me love his character. And when it comes to Paige? Their chemistry is undeniable. He may be brooding, but she gets under his skin in the best way, and together, they balance each other perfectly.
Paige and Easton’s story begins on a plane, where their first interaction is anything but friendly. Easton is his usual grumpy self, but when an arrogant guy causes trouble, he unexpectedly steps in to help Paige. From there, their paths keep crossing, and over time, the tension turns into something deeper.
And once they finally open up to each other, they become this perfect little family, with Isaac at the heart of it all. The way both of them love and care for him melted my heart.
✨My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved this story! Everything was mixed perfectly—the romance, the friendships, the emotional moments, and the drama. It all came together in a way that made the book feel so real and engaging. The friendships between the characters were beautifully written, and I loved how each one of them had their own moments to shine. The support they gave each other showed that love isn’t just about romance—it’s also about family and friendship.
There were a few moments that felt a bit off for me, but overall, this book completely won me over. I can’t wait to read the next one!
