I’m a recessive omega with one Never lose the pills that keep me alive. But then it happened.
Death didn’t come. Instead, my first heat hit, exposing me like prey in a den of wolves. And they caught me at its peak. The dominant alpha seized me first, his pheromones making me melt. When I ran, my best friend held me tight, and his brother’s gaze dared the she’s ours.
They see past my worn, second-hand T-shirt and crave everything beneath it—including my heart. And as the heat deepens, I know one surrender is inevitable. They won’t just take me—they’ll claim me, share me. And maybe... I crave it too.
“Take my knot, bear my pups,” one whispers, eyes burning with hunger.
But with the pills that poison me, and enemies closing in... If everything I believed was a lie, will our bond survive?
This is a re-release of the original Capturing Their Omega, now fully upgraded for an even better reading experience!
This started off good but there were some weird things that began making themselves evident after the 50% mark. I brushed off a lot in the beginning but it got more annoying as the book progressed. I think this book would have benefited from another round of grammar editing. The dialogue reads very stiff, robotic, and over-explanatory (like it's for the character's benefit but it really benefits neither the reader nor the character in the conversation). The use of contractions should have been more especially in the dialogue. There were times when this book read like a google translate that no one looked over. There were also multiple examples of the FMC wearing X item of clothing and a few paragraphs later X has turned into Z with no explanation and a few moments after that it would turn back into X. The inner monologues were long-winded and slightly annoying. The info dumps were also not great. The author even managed info dumps in the dialogue which were *a choice*.
Cassie (FMC) proved herself to be naive, gullible and dumb. how did she find it in herself to forgive? Also, how did that much not give her long-term issues? That's basically the most unbelievable part of this book. Cassie and Leila becoming friends was also strange considering Cassie makes a point to say that Leila is stuck up and has never treated her well from the beginning.
The cliche supervillain thing this book had was very underwhelming. I'm glad it had a quick introduction and resolution because it was just meh.
I don't know why I ever expected this book to end differently but of course It made me roll my eyes very hard because that's also one of my icks.
I think I learned that books by this author are not for me. If I'm being honest I've read much much better-executed books in this genre. I don't need to subject myself to this one in particular.
The dialogue is awful. The designations have no meaning other than scenting, the legend does nothing, the whole family drama comes to nothing, the brothers are just there doing nothing, ... The characters are caricatures. There's no world building. The plot is pointless. It can't even be labeled as smut escapism because that is ridiculous enough to skip over, what 2-3 scenes actually occur. The legend is basically a popularity contest, it makes no sense. Her sister goes from a spoiled brat to a trusted friend in .06 seconds with no story development. She completely blames her mom for the bad guy's poisoning. The bookstore ceases to exist, and Ares never seems to work. They go from using contractions when speaking to more formal speech in the same paragraph inexplicably. The abused maids never leave or report the abuse. It just makes absolutely no sense. What was the point of the whole story?
Cassie Munt has been sickly all her life. She takes a pill for her symptoms, but over time, she has gone from one pill a day to four in order to be able to just function. Her symptoms and pain have gotten progressively worse. She is also a shifter, but has never shifted, nor has she been able to.
One day, due to an accident, she loses her medication. She knows she will die without it and her mother's financial situation won't allow her to pay for replacements. Cassie's friend, Eric Johnson, is there to see the accident and the fall out from Cassie's emotional and physical crash due to the stress of knowing her pills are gone and she will die. Eric Johnson runs to his brother, Jeremiah, to see if they can help Cassie get more medication. Both men have been in love with Cassie for years, but she is totally unaware that they feel more than friendship toward her.
Ares Linds, a powerful alpha and rich businessman, knows he must soon marry. He is to meet an Omega, Leila Kaye, to see if they might be a good match. While there, things go somewhat awry causing Cassie and Ares to run into each other....literally. It will be a collision that neither will forget.
The loss of the medication sets off a series of explosive, life altering events that leave Cassie devastated and unsure of who she is, what her past holds, why she was lied to all her life, and why her health has always been in issue. All these events will lead to a twisted path that the three men: Ares, Jeremiah and Eric must navigate.
This book is a fast=paced, spicy, tale, with surprises along the way, that will keep you wondering what is going on and how it will all turn out. Enjoy the journey!
I am not even sure why I finished this book. I didn’t enjoy the plot, characters or the writing. I found myself getting bored and just skimming over the writing and giving my kindle “stank face” while reading.
It was okay, but had a few issues. One of the first issues was that it didn't seem plausible that Cassie couldn't understand she was going into heat. She lived in the world of shifters her entire life and just didn't put two and two together. Then, there were some plot errors with the sex scenes and other small scenes in which the author would set up the scene with the characters in a particular position or wearing particular clothes or something and then just a few paragraphs down they'd be doing something that was impossible for them given what she set up earlier. The last major issue was how easily she forgave her mother after being poisoned by her for nearly two decades. I mean, I get that her mother was threatened by a very wealthy and powerful omega female, but her MOTHER tortured and nearly killed her own daughter without ever even trying to speak to her about the issues that were going on. Otherwise, the story moves well enough, the author didn't play fast and loose with issues of consent, but there were typographical errors, and as I said before, some minor plot errors. One of my favorite parts of the story were the two brothers Jeremiah and Eric, I really especially liked the Jackson boys. Aries was a bit too arrogant and entitled for me, but he was attentive enough and willing to accept the brothers whom society might have considered lesser than him. I just never really warmed to him. Enjoyable enough to
Cassie has been a sickly person since birth, she has to take constant medication to keep her alive. But when an accident happens and she is short of her expensive medication, her friends , brother's Jeremiah an alpha and Eric a beta come to the rescue. The brothers are in love with Cassie and they hope that one day they friendship will turn more romantic. But what they find out shocks them!
Ares, the head Alpha is looking for a mate. He goes to the Kayes, to see if he attracted to their daughter Leila but his head is turned by someone else. He needs to find out who this woman is.
When all the secrets come to light, Cassie goes to stay with the brothers. Ares finds out who this woman is and where she is staying, he is ready to make his move. Ares speaks to the brothers and Cassie about a possible connection that would benefit all of them. But Cassie is not out of danger yet.
A great story with good characters. Friends who have each others back that turns into a romantic attachment. The main character goes from someone who struggles day to day to being a strong, independant woman, who is loved by her men, from a nobody to a somebody. But she also finds her fated mate and family she never knew she had. The story covers life on the fringe of the pack and how you are percieved. How family can go from being strong, to being weak. But that 1 thing can come along and change the course of your life.
I enjoyed the story but the errors and lack of continuity really spoiled it for me. First Jeremiah was a shiftless alpha, then suddenly he’s shifting into a wolf. Cassie’s dress is black on one page then gold a few pages later. Good concept and could have been a great read but the writing really lets it down.
This book is pretty unpolished. There’s potential here, but the writing needs work.
There’s this weird mish mash of shifters mixed with Omegaverse and some people are recessive and also there might be werepanthers and warlocks and vampires, who also have designations. Also maybe normal humans. I’m not totally sure. The world building was lacking.
Cassie is a sickly Omega with no wolf. It turns out she’s this way because her mother has been feeding her illegal drugs since she was two, to suppress her wolf and designation. See, her mother was having an affair with the master of the house and when his wife found out, she beat Cassie’s mother and told her she had to give Cassie these drugs because… I honestly don’t know. It really makes no sense why Cassie’s mom would poison her kid or why she didn’t find a new job or why she didn’t try to have more than one conversation with Cassie’s father even though she works for him.
When the drugs wear off, Cassie turns into the White Wolf of Legend, which just means she has multiple uteruses or something.
The mates basically have zero personality. Ares comes across as robotic and emotionless. Jeremiah owns a book store. Eric is a beta and a student or something. Who knows. I think they all stop going to work or school after they meet Cassie.
The dialogue is weird and they start referring to Cassie as “my lady” near the end, which made it even weirder.
A shifter romance full of discovery and choice; with drama, action, mystery, wolf shifters, vampires, love and a HEA.
Cassie has spent her life needing pills to keep her alive and out of pain, and her mum spends all her salary on them. But when Cassie spills the pills on the floor, her best friend and his brother rush to help, only to discover a truth that no one would have expected.
Eric, a beta, and his brother Jeremiah, an alpha, have both loved Cassie for years always hoping that their feelings for her could become something more as they don’t care that she's ill and without her wolf. But their discovery shocks them to the core.
Ares is the most powerful alpha and needs a mate. He had gone to the Kayes to meet their daughter as a possible match but finds himself pulled to another who then disappears. When he finds her with the brothers he knows she's his fated mate but realises that she also has a connection with them. But not everyone is happy with the situation and they family issues to resolve and there's danger from above.

I really liked the main characters, the 2 brothers are very different but will do anything for Cassie and are both in love with her, even accepting that if it's what Cassie wants the 3 of them will be a family unit.
Cassie is sickly person with no wolf, she has to take tablets regularly or she'll die, or so she's always been told by her mum. When the pills get spilled the truth finally comes out and Cassie finds out who she's really meant to be.
There's a good story here, the characters really support each other and become a family unit, the sex scenes are very steamy, especially when they all get involved. There's no MM action in the sex scenes, it's all focused around them being with their female omega.
I enjoyed this book, the author has rewritten it and I had previously read and reviewed the original version, this version is more polished and a smoother read.

Wowza !! This book , once it gets started is HOTT !! Cassie is a shiftless wolf. She needs extreme meds just to get through her day . She is bullied constantly, her only solace is her friends Eric who is a beta , and his alpha brother Jeremiah. And of course other mother who cares for her. Until a chance encounter with ultimate Alpha Ares, changes their lives forever !!! Ares has come to do the estate to see if Mr Mates' daughter is compatible with him . He hears that Leila is a strong omega. She would give him strong sons. What he ends up doing was Not what he intended. Not at all !! I thought this book was an extremely awesome read and I'm looking forward to reading the next in this series !!!
The plot of this book was interesting, but tye execution was lacking. The majority of this book felt like a detailed outline.. there were some interesting things brought up but not done well. The White Wolf legend..superpower is the female can have multiple children by multiple partners at once. That's it. Everything was lackluster, and I was very disappointed reading this.
Cassie's entire personality was she was very sickly but smart enough to get a scholarship at a prestigious university. Ares was a bit better. His personality was arrogance, but it was a bit deserved because of his strength. Jeremiah and Eric were two-dimensional and easily forgotten. I will not continue with this series.. but I may attempt something else by this author.
This book was extremely sexy. The plot made it even better. Loved how the twist and turns kept you guessing what was going to happen.
It's nice seeing a certain type of group get brought down from their pedestal. Something that is not normally seen in real-life or books.
The characters are written well as is the settings. You can envision the characters easily. Each setting is written so that you can envision being at each site.
The ending was sweet. Loved how Ares shows his gentler side which only happen with his unit.

This book just didn’t work for me. It started out promising but quickly lost its way. The characters felt flat and uninspired. The FMC came off as weak, even after she was healed within a couple hours of not taking her pills, and Ares—the MMC—wasn’t the compelling antihero; he was just an entitled jerk with no redeeming depth. What really frustrated me was the lack of explanation behind the major plot point: why was the mother poisoning her own child? There was no clear motive—no payoff, no blackmail, nothing to justify such a disturbing act. It made her character’s actions feel senseless and undermined the entire storyline.
RH Shifter. Cassie Munt, 18, suppressed legendary White Omega Wolf, mated to Supreme Alpha Ares Lind, 31, and Jackson brothers: recessive alpha Jeremiah, 32, and beta Eric, 24. Plot twist who Cassie’s bio dad is. Love how this story role played. Mom suspected as villain, but we learn who is the real villain. Suspected mean girl (Leila Kaye) turns best friend. Love it!.

The story was OK, I didn't care for the format, no paragraph indents. I also feel like the story could have been written better. Some of the language was strange, like the alpha used the phrase "oh joy!" and not sarcastically which just felt odd and out of place. There wasn't a ton of conflict and it was annoying it took so long to get answers about important things while the characters prattled on about inconsequential thoughts.
This is a good attempt at a rough draft but needs major editing. The spicy scenes were so clunky and a lot of the positions just don’t work. The writing needs a lot of work. The lore and designations weren’t explained and there wasn’t much. I don’t think the author really understood what OV was? There was a lot of added supernaturals that just weren’t needed (hello vampires and werepanthers). The relationships weren’t believable at all.
I’m only rating it 2 because I liked the idea.

A great read of a shifter that cant shift and seems defective to the point that without meds she will die. But all is not what it seems and with three shifters who love her she finally finds herself. Lots of intrigue, heat and some violence. Great ending!!!!.

This is an amazing story that will have you on the edge of your seat 😃. Our heroine finds out that everything in her life was a lie 😢. But, she's got a pair of friends who love her and will make sure she's going to survive 😄. Thanks so much Jasmine, I truly enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more 🤓.
Absolutely lovely storyline. The author definitely got me hooked and made me feel a rollercoaster of emotions throughout. I throughly enjoyed every bit. Definitely worth the read.

I had read this book previously. But this has been updated and re-released and it is even better than the original and I thoroughly enjoyed the original.

It was a mildly entertaining read. It's not something I will read again. It felt rushed if anything. Too easily resolved . too easily forgiven. Not enough depth in the characters. Some spice but if i'm honest i skimmed the spice.
Cassie has experienced bullying her entire life. When her pills are destroyed she discovers deception.Ares is a strong Alpha.Their meeting starts a chain of events. She Ares and the Jackson brothers form a unit.Strong characters Nasty enemy.
Honestly not for me. To quick and didn’t really have any plot or development. This felt like the beginnings of a book. Don’t get me wrong it was cute but was also lacking
It was okay. It read like a smut book with a little more detail. Like it had a lot of potential, but felt rushed and fast character development that, we didn't get to see/make sense. The author did a good job and it's a good quick read, especially if you just want a spicy book.
