Bonds are tested in a gripping story of betrayal, vengeance, and deadly ambition . . .
Carrie and Dottie raised Billy and Jesse Murphy to have each other’s backs, no matter what.
But on one fateful night, as Billy takes his girlfriend Willow on a date, his world takes a devastating turn.
A few days later, after a shocking revelation, the bond between the two brothers is broken – maybe forever.
At the same time, Cas Ferrier’s life is set to nosedive for a completely different reason. A long-buried heist, thought forgotten, returns with a vengeance, unleashing a ruthless killer with a thirst for bloodshed.
Family is everything to Billy, and when he witnesses a disturbing scene that can never be unseen, Dottie wonders if Billy will ever be the same again.
With revenge on their minds, will Billy and Cas uncover who is behind the series of devastating events?

Another series to captivate readers. Kerry Barnes is an exceptionally talented writer who skillfully twists and turns the plot, leaving readers in suspense. Her work keeps you engaged until the end, compelling you to return for more. The characters are a mix of brilliant and flawed, with an abundance of crime, betrayal, gore, and revenge that will give you chills. I have read all of her books, and each one surpasses the previous in quality.

Another family drama read from Kerry Barnes full of revenge, betrayal, loss with moments that would bring the reader to tears and I do hope we get to meet the characters again as their story isn’t quite finished. I was planning to save this book to read over Christmas when I had no distractions but I couldn’t wait.
Absolutely brilliant loved this series so well written the characters get under your skin hope full of family love and royalties made some parts shocking and some parts made me cry hope there will be a 4th book
Well what a breath taking series really enjoyed all 3 books, loved all the characters and how families stuck by each other through thick and thin, shall read more of Kerry Barnes books.
This was another cracking book and I believe this is the last one in the series. I'm sure I read that lol. What a journey these characters have been on. I didn't want it to end!
Definitely a 5* and a good read enjoyed thisven though I didn't like the way it ended. You can get lost in the characters as it you actually know them.
A fitting continuation to the previous Editions , it has quite a it of pathos I. It. Also it is well worth a read because, it's nice to know the progression in a family series. Looking forward to next episode.
Not as good as KBs usual work. The story was inconsistent at times. I didn't believe in the characters, a 15 year old taking on heavies and winning. There is still another story to be told
This book had me gripped from the start. Could not put it down. Trying to go to sleep at 1am but was thinking about what happened next lol. Read it in 2 days
Another fantastic book by Kerry Barnes Didn't want to put her book down Excellent continue story with a very good ending. Can't help love Billy Boy's family and the loyalty to each other and Caz
