Marriage Wanted was the best of the boxset, in that the female was likable. The guy had some cruel moments that I really didn't like.

Bride Wanted I really liked Alek, I disliked Julia for most of the story.

Groom Wanted I liked the male, but the female was stupid.

In each of the stories, either one or both of the leads had a bad previous relationship that scarred them. Each found different ways to compensate, like believing love wasn't real, trust no one, see everyone as potential threat and my personal favorite, pretend to be fine.

I'm a Debbie Macomber fan, but this book is not her best work. It seemed like she was rushing through the story. Kind of a "fluff" story. If want a summer book that you can read fast without a lot of depth, this is a good book. Not her usual character personalities.

Well written and trite

I enjoyed the writing, but the story was dull. I would read more by the author, because the grammar was correct and the prose descriptive but not formulaic. I probably won't seek out more books, by this author, but I doubt it will hurt her financially.

It's beautiful how Debbie is able to help us understand how good people always belong to good people. I just couldn't put this down once I picked it up.
