What can I say?…My emotions while reading this book totally took my breath away! 😮‍💨⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There should be a new genre for Danielle Fear’s “The Cure For Breathing” called > Emotional Thriller!

The anguish in Steph’s life is truly heart wrenching, from her life being torn apart at such a young age through so many secrets during her life fracturing her mind being tormented by guilt.

The character development was on point! Danielle’s writing really introduced them in a way you really understood their strengths and weaknesses to form a bond with each of them. Oh and by the way…I AM A CHARACTER IN THIS BOOK so come get to know me…*not really! 🥰

And if you’ve read The Schoolyard Secret Saga you’ll love that this book intertwines at some point! And if you haven’t read it yet, you’ll want to read it next…YOU’LL UNDERSTAND WHY! 📖 ***They aren’t part of the series, they can be read in any order***

If you love an Emotional Roller Coaster 🎢 ❤️ this book is for you❗️

The Cure For Breathing by Danielle Fear is a deeply emotional, tragic, and haunting read. It follows Steph as she battles through the lingering trauma of her childhood, offering a raw and honest look at the impact of mental illness. This story doesn’t shy away from the darkness—it walks through it with Steph, step by painful step, as she struggles just to keep going. It’s heartbreaking, powerful, and beautifully written. I couldn’t put it down.

This was a very emotional and heartbreaking read. I didn’t know what to expect from this book, but was pleasantly surprised, with lots of twists and turns, but not unbelievably so. It followed Steph from her early years right up into adulthood. There was so much going on for Steph in her childhood years and throughout her life, and the book covered difficult subjects like child abuse, mental health issues and heartbreaking separations. I have not read anything like this before and will definitely look for more works by this author in the future!

This book is amazing! I read it in one day! The story flows so smoothly. I was hooked on the first page, and I just couldn't stop until I reached the end.
This is a heart-wrenching story of Steph and her struggle with schizophrenia. It is an emotional rollercoaster. I caught myself reading it with my hand over my mouth. Mental illness is a terrible thing, and this book brings it to light. It is a haunting story.

This is a suspense thriller and a dark look at mental problems. Steph is dealing with a twisted past, and her present is a dark look into psychosis as she deals with post-traumatic stress. This is a well-written story with a bit of bad language. The author does a great job of examining the voices of the mind and the reality of life.

This is a powerful, heart-wrenching story of a woman's battle with schizophrenia. I worked in psychiatric hospitals years ago, and this was a very realistic portrait of some of the problems with the disease. It brought back many sad memories.

The book is well-written but poorly proofread.

A tragic story from the beginning. The writing style was a little off for me at times but I could figure out what was trying to be said. The plot went from horrible to better back to horrible. It really makes you feel for Steph and all she has been through in her short life.
