Hate is the greatest burden. The longer one carries it, the heavier it gets.
Magic is a curse, and all witches must burn.
That is the one absolute truth Isaac believes in after a wicked, soulless witch massacred his entire family. Drowning in the worst kind of pain, the only thing keeping his heart aflame is his thirst for vengeance. So, when an alpha from another pack rescues him from a fate worse than death, Isaac finds sanctuary, but not peace.
Yet amidst the darkness, an even brighter light stands to fight his despair—a love so pure and true, it heals his broken parts one piece at a time. However, not everyone is as welcoming when the color of his skin and the rumors about his pack are as dark as a witch’s soul. And a pack divided is a pack already lost.
Fueled by love, driven by hate, and bound by destiny, will Isaac be able to win the hearts of his people and protect them from the dangerous enemy closing in? Or will he choose revenge and risk losing everything he holds dear… again?
Burning Hate is a prequel to 'The Soulless Witch' series, but it can be read as a standalone.
I really enjoyed getting more of Isaac’s backstory, after reading the Soulless Witch books, to see how he started out right after his childhood shattered, to becoming the Alpha and the start of his pack. It really gave more insight and understanding to why Issac is the way he is. Hart never fails to deliver an exceptionally well written book!
I really needed this book. After reading the other ones. I didn't think I needed such a book but man I needed the back story on how Issac became who he was and the Alpha! This book is straight to it, starts from what happens to his family to how he becomes alpha, but it shows everything in between. Because in the other books in the series you hear some stuff about Issac, but not enough to know why he hates witches so much and why he does what he does. What I also like is how you see Issac and Allison friendship grow. It makes me love Allison so much more. She such a bad woman!! There action, love, death, and more. That ending just made me cry because I wasn't expecting that at all! If you read this series make sure you read this book!
Ok my love is Roman BUT Isaac follows close by! A great read as always by my dear author! It was nice, while waiting for the next book in the soulless witch series. It shows us how Isaac managed to built his life after the death of his people and to become who he is now. We can see his personality built and his hate for our badass witch but dear Isaac: we know something you don't!🤣 Anyway, go grab your copies people! It's a series not being talked enough
I loved the Soulless Witch series, and this was a great addition to the story.
Isaac's backstory was heartbreaking and emotional, and though we had some insight in the main series, it was good to have this novella to really understand him and what he'd been through.
I am deeply moved. What a powerful and emotional backstory for Isaac! I knew from the other books that his story was a challenging one, but knowing it happened and getting details are truly eye-opening. The romance is quite a slow burn in my opinion, but it does have spice once it reaches it’s tipping point. Heart pounding action keeps you enthralled with the story, but make sure you check triggers.
This story is so intense . It will take you through all emotional states that exists!
I always had a soft spot for Isaac, he was my favorite amongst all of the males and I didn't know why, it was something unwritten. But now.. that his story is out for everyone to understand his deep hate for witches, I think it's safe to say he will be loved more. He had a really hard life, always had to prove himself that he is worthy of their attention, kindness and more important, their love! I was not prepared for the bullying and the deep insecurities he had. He educated himself that with baby steps he can conquer the pack's hearts. Raised without his birth parents I believe he got really far! He took the best he could take and transform into the man he is today! And what a man!! Please look for his visuals with Scarlett!!
