It’s a rare Christmas blizzard in Rose Ridge, but the Stone Riders are under attack.
It’s been years since the club has been at war, but this particular threat has everyone worried about who it is that's after them. When it's discovered this may be an old foe from years earlier, only one person might have more information but he's gone missing. While the parents strive to ensure the safety of their children and The members must pull their families in and hide inside the clubhouse, the older kids find a way to save Christmas, and maybe even create a little magic while doing it.
This novella is told from various points of view, with a glimpse ten years into the future from where the final installment in the Stone Riders series ended. This is also a prequel for a second gen series that will be coming in the near future.
Ashley resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and four children. She enjoys hiking, sneaking off to read, and of course, drinking copious amounts of coffee when she finally sits down to write.
Odd, I did enjoy that this was more plot than smut but the 10 year old POVS sandwiched in between mom & dad hooking up was weird to read. Will I read second gen? Probably
I hate when I’m reading a book with kids, and said kids don’t sound like the kids they are. Like why tf are these 9 and 10 year old ‘s discussing the structural integrity of an underground tunnel? They should have been older. Anyway…. It wasn’t bad and I am genuinely excited for what’s to come.
I loved the Stone Riders MC series so I was excited we were getting a snowed in, holiday novella for the series. This definitely shouldn’t be read on its own because it’s a follow up to characters/plots that already exist from the series.
It’s 10 years after the beginning of the series and a new war is brewing for the MC after years of relative peace. So this was more plot-packed than I thought it would be, we have most of the crew hiding out with their kids for Christmas to stay safe while things are happening. I was expecting multiple POVs in this but I wasn’t expecting their kids’ POVs. Like I’m totally down for a second gen series which this is apparently a prequel/glimpse of what’s to come, but I don’t think I needed 9 and 10 year olds POVs mixed in with their parents stories in this novella. Other reviews have kinda discussed/validated my thoughts on this too.
So this was fine. Love the characters and series overall, excited for other books to come in the future, this just wasn’t my favorite.
This book was the perfect novella! And reading it right before knowing the second get is getting their series made ALL my brains theories go into OVERDRIVE!!! I ate up all the little crumbs Ashley gave us. And the fun part is we got several characters POVs including the kids!
I highly recommend reading this before starting the new series but you will also be lost if you haven’t read the series leading up to it. Something is brewing in stone ridge and this family has a lot in store for them.
What an action packed little novella! I loved being back with the Stone Riders crew and having a second generation to get to know! I enjoyed seeing everyone’s relationships 10 years later and how their families have all evolved. I definitely shed a few tears and cannot wait to see what’s to come for these characters, their children and the future of the club!
“…. If your heart breaks, don’t worry. I’ll give you mine.” 🥹🥹🥹🥹
Ohhhhh Ashley- so many questions. Archer Greens wife?!? Who is she and who’s the dang brother. I nearly threw my kindle at the wall when Killian’s thoughts got interrupted.
I love this perspective from all of the kids and I’m so so hoping that the future of the series comes to revisit them all. Ugh this was such a great novella and reminded me why I loved this series and these characters so much.
Omg this book! This series has my heart, this was perfect. Seeing all the couples, their babies and seeing the family tree 🥹 I can’t get over this series!
The ending though 👀 I can’t wait to see what comes next 😭
This is a fun little novella which is a bonus to the MC Stone Riders series, and also a lead-in to the second-gen Generations of Rose Ridge series, as the Stone Riders gather together at the clubhouse at Christmas to protect their families against a new threat.
Told in multiple POVs, we get to see the parents dealing with the danger, while the kids (already with their strong dynamics) work together to bring some Christmas cheer. A little bit cute and sweet, a little bit sexy and emotional, it’s a heartfelt glimpse into each of the Stone Rider families, and a great introduction to the kids we’ll get to read more about in coming books.
Having now made a start on the Generations of Rose Ridge series, I can see that this is a great set-up for the main conflict in the new series, and I’m definitely glad I read it.
I’m so glad that I got to experience these characters again. Found family is a favorite of mine and this is done so incredibly well. I absolutely loved the changes in pov between the parents and kids.
I am dying for Archers story and the continued development with the kids. The plot twist with Max had me locked in. That ending!
For a little over 100 pages, she fit so much in such a small amount. So well written and emotional. I truly love these stories and characters.
I devoured this holiday novella treat in one sitting!! Getting a quick glance into the lives of our favorite Stone Riders MC ten years into the future was perfection! After meeting the kids, I am so excited for the next gen books. A Rose Ridge Christmas had me on the edge of my seat until the very last page!!
This wasn’t your typical Christmas story filled with cozy hot chocolate and decorating Christmas trees!! This totally lived up to the stone riders standards and I loved every minute of it!!
You must read the first 4 books in this series before reading this or it won’t make any sense!
I am in shock over the author managed to include a full plot for this novella and executed it perfectly. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 And the way it got set up for the second generation? Mind blown!
Loved getting all of the interactions with the kids and the possible romances they’ll have in their series. I cannot wait for them!
3.5/5 - This is the perfect set up for the 2nd generation series. We get the perspective of the characters from the Stone Riders MC as well as some of the 2nd gen characters as kids. It was nice to visit the Stone Riders and see what’s in store next possibly!
Ashley Munoz you genius you! This was such a good conclusion to the Rose Ridge series. I loved how it brought back all the kids, who are now grownish, and all of the adults. Even though this book was a short one, it still had the ability to make me feel my emotions. I laughed and I cried. This was perfection!
The older kids gave me life in this book with how they wanted to be involved in everything and wanted to make sure that all the littles and their moms were taken care of and safe.
The Silas part had me in a death grip because I was terrified that something was gong to happen. He was easily my favorite MMC of the series. And then the twist at the end was exactly what I needed to happen to make my motorcycle club loving heart happy.
I love her writing and am so excited for her next series!
This is the perfect Holiday MC Romance! A quick, fun read with plenty of action and a bit of foreshadowing for the next generation of Stone Riders, this novella doesn't disappoint! I really enjoyed seeing glimpses of the different Stone Riders couples lives and I can't wait to read the next book in this Series to see where things go with certain characters. Please note this book needs to be read after the Stone Riders Series for everything to truly make sense. 5 Stars!
Here's the thing.... This book could have been a 5 star for me except the author forced me to mentally switch from ADULT mode to KID ALERT.
It was WEIRD to read about the kids exploring the cellar, then the next chapter you have adult Jameson & Penny smutting it up. The fuckery was unnecessary. It did not add to the plot AT ALL. I am a cliteracture consumer, I read all the smut, no problem. I read literotica for funsies.... Just don't make me have to switch modes mentally like that.
Am I intrigued for future stories? Yes. Was this weird? Also, very much, yes.
This book set us up for a few spin offs, introduced us to the off spring of each couple, and I've been wondering about Silas' older brother!! So that was helpful. The fuckery scenes were just unnecessary.

REVIEW: A Rose Ridge Christmas is the novella from Ashley Muñoz's Stone Riders MC series which is told from various POVs with a glimpse ten years into the future from where the fourth and last book in the series ended. From what the author has hinted that this book is a prequel for a second generation series of the Stone Riders MC children that will hopefully come out in the near future. The story starts during a rare Christmas blizzard in Rose Ridge that unfortunately coincides while the Stone Riders are under attack by an MC that they thought was long ago disbanded. All the women, Callie, Laura, Penelope and Natty, have been taken to the MC House to be protected with their children but the men, Wesley, Killian and Jameson, are worried especially since Silas has gone missing. All the adults are trying to ensure their children are safe while the older children try to find a way to save Christmas and maybe create a little magic like Simon Stone used to do with Callie when she was their age.
Ashley Muñoz delivered a short forced proximity found family small town motorcycle club romance that had me devouring the novella in a day. It was great to read from each of the adults and their older children's POV during this very tense and scary moment that they are living being attacked by an unknown man and the Destroyer MC. All the adults have grown to be parents that have young children that they constantly worry about and need to protect. The children are growing up to understand how the MC works and that they will someday become possible leaders or members of the MC. Even though they are still children there is already a strong connection between Connor and Royce with a third, Ford, who might also have feelings for Royce even though he feels a bit bitter since her father was President to the MC when it was his own grandfather that founded the MC. I'm really hoping that Ashley Muñoz publishes the second generation Stone Riders MC series soon because this novella had me wanting more of the crazy found MC family especially with the introduction of Silas's older brother Max who is described as a monster that is coming after the Stone Riders MC even if Silas and his family is apart of the MC.
Christmas miracles are afoot at the intersection of the Stone Riders clubhouse and Rose Ridge in a blizzard. Reading a whole new generation discover themselves in their parents’ stomping grounds was just so perfect. The little ones will go on to make BIG differences for everyone they know - I can feel it in my bones. I laughed, I gasped, I was angered, I cried (just a little bit I swear), I was relieved, and I granted my own delusion of living in Rose Ridge for just a little bit longer. The stories of the Stone Riders continue to surprise me and hook me with the unexpected and Ashley Muñoz deserves all of the flowers for these books!
*On a personal note:* ASHLEY I HOPE YOU CAN HEAR ME YELLING MY PRAISES FROM THE CLUBHOUSE.
How you worked your magic in only 100 pages I may never understand! Was I already obsessed with all of the couple quartet? Absolutely. Am I now weirdly concerned about knowing every last detail about their children? Also yes without a doubt I must have that knowledge NAOW. I cannot wait for next generation and spinoff and Ashley please never stop sharing your magical words.
Direct quotes from me while reading: “I love you Killian but you’re SO dramatic.” (Also said about Laura almost directly after & that’s why I love them s’much.) “SILAS WHAT THE ACTUAL F***?!” “Girls girls girls simmer down we can all be friends!” “Of course you’re acting like a little jerk, Ford. Look at who your dad is!” (I’ve reconciled and apologized bc although he’s fictional he’s also a literal child.) “Royce girly we are about to be so codependent.” “Am I a Wes gal again? Am I a Jameson girl now?!” “Nova, you sweet angel baby.”
The Stone Riders MC series is one of my favorite series I read this year, so when Ashley announced a Christmas novella, I did a little happy dance and couldn’t wait for its release!
Ashley herself says this but I'll add my two cents: please do yourself a favor and make sure you have read the series and bonus content BEFORE you read this novella. It'll spoil a ton of the series for you if you don't and also you won't be as emotionally connected to it as you will otherwise. For me, having devoured the series earlier this year, this novella felt like a homecoming of sorts (to an admittedly violent AF world).
I won't rehash the plot because you can read that for yourself - I will just say that if you were a fan of the series, you will likely adore this novella, with POVs from all our main characters and their kids too (which I know some reviewers have mixed feelings about but I loved the kids POVs -- and hello, second gen stories; I see you!).
This isn't a sweet Christmas story. It's harrowing and nerve-wracking and a little scary at times. But it's also full of quiet moments where you remember why you loved these characters so much. Why you were so invested in their stories and their happiness. Why you couldn't stop thinking about the books for weeks after you read them. I teared up several times reading this novella and was right back in my feelings that I thought I'd left behind with Where We Ended. But NOPE. Ashley said "hold my beer," and served up a big old plate of emotion and angst that sucked me right back in.
I love her for it.
Can't wait to see what's next in this world - it's bound to be amazing!
Ashley is one of the few people who could manage to have me bawling over a novella! This was such a great novella, too, because we got to see all our favorite characters from the Stone Riders series and how their lives have changed in the last 10 years. It was so much fun seeing all the kids, too, and learning more about them.
I love that this novella had multiple POVs, so we got to see one from all of our favorite Stone Riders main characters throughout the book, but we also got a few from the older kids' POVs, too, which was so much fun! It was great to get to know the kids a little more in-depth with their POVs in this story in anticipation of a future next gen series (which I'm still screaming about, FYI).
This was a great interlude story to further wrap up the Stone Riders series while also giving us a little glimpse into the future next gen series that Ashley teased! It was also a great way to meet Archer Greene, who's also getting his own book, as well. I loved this story so much and how well it fits into the Stone Riders series and wrapped things up for the main characters while also giving us foreshadowing for future books about the kids. I'm so happy that Ashley gave us this novella, and I can't wait to see what Archer Greene is all about in his story!
A necessary (but strangely preachy and religious for a MC romance, bit of a deviation from the original series) half step to bridge the gap between the original series and the second generation series. The connection pulling the clubs together feels a little like a sequel trying to capture the original magic, but I loved the first series and will have faith that my hesitation is due to biased feelings on Christmas, religion, and novellas.
At times more YA mystery than romance because much is from the POV of 10 year olds, but they are the main characters of the next series and there is still spice (between adults). The original series is my favorite MC romance series, so I will read the next generation series.

In this book, we pick up 10 years later when there is a threat against The Stone Riders MC and they have to all work together to try and make it out in one piece!
I always struggle with novellas because they are quite fast paced and I hate feeling like I’m just thrown into the middle of a situation and not knowing what’s going on, especially since this one was 10 years later.
It was great to be back in the world and see all our fav characters again and their families. I enjoyed how the book has set us up for the second generation and some storylines which may be done!
I didn’t overly enjoy the kids POV, I just felt like no 10 year olds really would think that way and it just made me feel odd about it. Then I found it quite awkward that there was the parents spice scenes thrown in-between the kids POV 😅 Like I’m going from a 10 year olds perspective, to parents banging on a washing machine 🫣😳
I will definitely give the second generation series a go, as I genuinely loved the stone riders mc series!
