I enjoyed this book. I read it very quickly, I couldn't put it down. Easy read but emotionally powerful. I had no idea what was going to happen next and the intensity and rage was passed on to me as the reader through the thoughts of the mother. If you are looking for a page turner that will captivate you this is it.
I enjoyed the story, but it was written in a way that suggested there was a narrator when the story should be experienced through the characters' points of view and through dialogue. Show, don't tell is one of the golden rules.
