Pretty good plot but needs editing pretty badly. Specifically everything from the British friend. Every single bit of her speech just doesn't sound right. It was like an American person taking the mick out of a British person by using a fake accent and using "bloody," "love" and "arse" in every other sentence. That just isn't how we speak and it kind of irked me as I got further into the story.

The Review:

As you can tell by the rating, I did not love this book. I didn’t hate it either, but it was just blasé to me. The story revolves around Peyton and Keller who were high school sweethearts, and had planned a life together, up until the moment that Keller leaves for Afghanistan. That is when everything changes. Peyton comes to find out that she is pregnant, and sends a letter to Keller to let him know; however, she receives a letter in return that says he wants nothing more to do with her. Peyton is crushed, and realizes that she is going to have to do all of this on her own.

Five year pass without a word from Keller. Peyton is now living with her best friend, Lottie, and her daughter, Ivy, in an apartment in New York City. She works as a stripper, several nights a week, in a club named Enticed, while also working two days a week at a coffee shop. Peyton hates the stripping that she is doing, but does it to support herself and her daughter.

One night out of the blue, Peyton finds herself face to face with her childhood sweetheart. Unbeknownst to Keller, he had shown up at a bachelor party at the club Peyton worked at. You can only imagine what a shock that is to both of them. Keller and Peyton are both angry with each other, believing that the other had done them wrong. While Peyton had received a letter from Keller, he had received a letter claiming that she could not wait for him while he was at war.

Peyton ignored Keller, but he wasn’t about to have that. Like any person searching for the truth, Keller sought Peyton out to know why she broke up with him. It is during one of the night’s that he is staking out her club, waiting for her to get off work, that Peyton is attacked by a customer. Keller intercedes and comes to her rescue, which causes Peyton to finally give in and talk to him. Keller and Peyton talk, finally coming to the conclusion that someone had so heinously messed with their lives by sending fake letters to one another. At this point, Keller finally meets his little girl, quickly establishing a presence in Ivy and Peyton’s life.

The road to forgiveness and moving on comes with struggles along the way. Lottie, Peyton’s British roommate and best friend, is leery of Keller initially, wanting to ensure that Peyton doesn’t get hurt again.

Peyton claims that she is no longer in love with Keller, and that she is going to take things slow while getting to know him again, but it is no time at all before the clothes are flying off. Keller and Peyton decide to come out in the open with their relationship, and share the joyful news that Keller’s parents have a grandchild. All does not go well, as Keller’s step-mom has always disliked Peyton for seemingly no good reason.

After Keller reentered her life, Peyton managed to cut back on her shifts at the club. Keller didn’t like that she worked at a strip club, but conceded to the fact that Peyton did her best to provide for their daughter in his absence. He worked at a security firm, so he was able to help provide financial support for his daughter and Peyton. He felt the need to make up for all the time that he had missed.

Keller’s job, along with his military background, provided him with the means necessary to track down the person who messed with their lives. Both are shocked when they find out who the culprit is, having no idea how deep this person’s secrets and hatred ran.

Towards the end of the book, the story takes a dark turn. Peyton is attacked again, and it is a race against time for Keller to find her before he loses her forever. All is revealed in this final showdown with her attacker, and proves to ensures that some people’s lives are forever changed.

Okay, now that the general story is revealed it is time to get down to the good, the bad and the ugly. Since I know how much bad reviews can hurt an aspiring novelist, I will start with the good. I liked Peyton and Keller’s daughter Ivy. She was cute, and provided a little bit of comic relief during the story. It was great to see that Keller wasted no time trying to get to know his daughter, and to be the best father that he could be. It was also clear that Peyton loved her daughter more than anything. Lottie, the British best friend, also provided some humor, and possibly some confusion, with her British sayings. She proved to be a very loyal friend to Peyton. That is something we all need in life.

The bad, unfortunately, outweighed the good. I had many problems with this story. My biggest being Peyton’s line of work, and her reasoning behind it. The idea of a woman taking a job as a stripper to take care of her children is nothing new. The reasoning is always that they can’t find any other work, the money is too good to pass up, so even though they hate the job, they stay. In Peyton’s case, there are so many things wrong with this rationale I hardly know where to start, but here goes. Peyton lives in an apartment with her rich best friend, and she does not have to pay any rent. Really? That is pretty awesome. Sign me up for that living situation. Peyton claims that she took the job as a stripper because she couldn’t find any other work and had no skills. Okay, I might be able to let that slide because it can be hard to find a good paying job, but there are certainly other means of getting a paycheck. Not only does Peyton have Lottie constantly willing to watch her daughter, she also has two loving parents who help take care of her. Two parents that she gets along with and help take care of her daughter? Am I missing something here. How does that mean that she can’t find any other means of living? Another reason why Peyton decided that she had to strip was because she didn’t want to have to move back in with her parents, and she wanted to do it on her own. I totally get that need for independence and needing to know that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and happiness; however, when it comes to supporting a child, and you have people who are willing and able to help you, why would you turn that down? Especially to do something you claim to hate so much? She could have easily stayed with her parents, got government assistance, possibly even gone to college when her life became more stable.

I also find the idea that someone who owns a strip club, or any business, is so flexible and willing to put their needs and wants aside for an employee. Now, I have never worked at a strip club before, but I have been in management positions and I can say that is a ridiculous notion. Even if you are best friends with one of your employees, there are some situations that you can’t work around in order to run a successful business. Sure, if something came up occasionally that is reasonable, but when it is happening on an almost daily basis…no. I get that this book is a work of fiction, but if you are going to write about real life scenarios, it is important to make them believable. Maybe I am the only one to get hung up on that issue, I don’t know.

I knew almost immediately who had sent the fake letters to Peyton and Keller, so I was absolutely not surprised by that reveal. I also wasn’t surprised by Peyton’s attacker, or that situation occurring when it did. I did think that the author did a good job of tying those two things together in a unique way. Great plot twist.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to save the book for me. Besides the fact that the plot is similar to a few other books that I have read, in various aspects, the editing was completely HORRIBLE!!! I mean ATROCIOUS! The writing was really simplistic, the characters flat and not well-developed, but the hardest thing for me to get over was the fact that the story switched from past to present tense everywhere you looked. Sometimes even in the same paragraph. This is a huge problem, because while most books might have and error or two, even some of Nora Roberts books and she has been writing forever, when it is that obvious it can ruin a story. It makes it incredibly difficult to follow the story, and does not provide the reader with a desire to read another book by the author. This was a debut novel, but if I was putting a book out for publishing, even self-publishing, I would make sure that it was edited by several different people. Several different qualified people, because I would want to make sure that my best effort was out there. Or at least as close to my best as possible. I have read books where the grammar and spelling was pretty bad, but the author didn’t realize it, or they did and submitted an updated version. I highly suggest that this author do that if she wants to get better reviews and increase sales. While I only paid about a buck for this story, to me, it wasn’t even worth a buck. Maybe if it was free I would think differently, because you often gain more readers that way and I find that there are less expectations.

I like the story. Normally I skip second-chance story cause it often annoys me esp when hero leaves heroine voluntarily. The part I like Enticed By You most is because it skips the heartbreaking part: the story begins with Peyton is already a single mother and takes two jobs to raise little Ivy. Of course I get emotional when Peyton looks herself in the mirror.

Keller is so sweet from the beginning when he reappears in Peyton's life. He is not a cheating jerk or man whore; he is also a victim just like Peyton. He has never known Peyton's pregnancy, not to mention their daughter. He is so good to both Peyton and Ivy that you can't help but fall in love with him. Moreover, I like that both of them haven't been with others during their separation.

This story still has some potential: First, it's not hard to guess who did this to them, so it will be better if there is more than one suspect. Also, the villain's motive to separate Peyton and Keller is ridiculous. I hope there's more realistic reason behind the scheme. And the love songs . . . well, I get it sometimes love songs make story more romantic, but in this case, it is a little too much.

Some readers review here say they anticipate Lottie's story, but I anticipate Cameron's story! Yes, they all believe he is dead, but I sense there's sth more since there's no body. And who says the same villain didn't do sth behind this? I hope Ms.Amy Muscat can consider this angle.

☆ I received an ARC from Enticing Journey Book PR in exchange for an honest review. Thank you SO MUCH!! ☆

Enticed By You was a cute, steamy read about second chances at love and a nix of lies, deceit, and misunderstandings.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Peyton “Pie” Emerson has been in love with Keller James ever since she can remember (and he vice versa). When Keller gets deployed to Afghanistan and Peyton later learns that she is pregnant with his child, this should be a joyous occasion, right? Wrong!

Not only does Peyton get her heart broken by her childhood sweetheart, she also experiences the pains of going through her pregnancy and raising her child alone.

Now, fast forward five years --- With college put on hold, Peyton, a now struggling mother, works two jobs to make ends meet: a waitress during the day and a stripper at night.

That is, until fate steps in one very night and she is reunited with the man who crushed her hopes and dreams and abandoned her and their child.

What will become of these two? Is everything really as it seems?
Or are there an exterior forces trying to keep them apart?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How will everything turn out? Who are the sources responsible for their distressing breakup? Will Peyton and Keller be able to forgive each other for all those years and find a way back to each other? Not to mention, when danger leers it its head and targets Peyton for their own, will Keller and Peyton ever find the culprits in time before it's too late? Read and you will find out!

#A lovely read that *thank god* has no cheating or love triangles ladies!! Albeit some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy and the drama was a tad over the top, it still managed to pull off an adorable yet steamy feel that made me overlook the tiny antics that would normally turn me off. I mean, how could you not love Peyton, Keller, Lottie, or little Ivy?! Come on now! Peyton was a survivor; Keller was unbelievably sweet and understanding; Lottie was a hoot; and Ivy was just delightful and charming!!

I was definitely “enticed” throughout my stay in the mind of Ms. Muscat’s and am crossing my fingers for a Lottie (Peyton's British bestie) and Blake (one of Keller's military buddies known to be a player) book!!! *Pretty please!!*

** JOSIE'S 4 STAR REVIEW **

Enticed by You by Amy Muscat is one emotional read. Hold on to your seats and buckle up. The Prologue grabbed my interest, and the story never fell short. The story starts off in the present but the author takes readers back to the past 5 years before hand and rips readers apart. Peyton Emerson is a single mother of a beautiful little girl, Ivy. In order to provide for her daughter and give her the best life she works two jobs in a diner and as a stripper. Peyton lives with her best friend Lottie who has been her rock for the past 5 years. She helps Ivy raise her daughter while she works, and her parents take Ivy on the weekends so Peyton can have free time. The author really does a really good job in detailing the relationship Peyton has with Lottie and her parents. It was funny, and inspiring. The way the author shows readers the love and unconditional support Peyton has, was nicely written.

“Do you and dad have plans this weekend? Lottie wanted to have a girls night out Friday and shopping Saturday afternoon.”

“Yeah that’s fine Peyton, you know me and your dad would take her anytime.”

“His back Lotts. I saw him tonight. Keller was at the club, oh God.”

“That f****** arsehole. Who the f*** does the prick think he is? F****** stupid wanker.”

“Oh God, I think I just came. What? I may not like him, but f*** me, he’s one f****** sexy man.”

“Shut up Lotts, he might hear you!”

“That’s one, tight, sexy arse he’s got there.”

“Yeah, it is.”

All is well in Peyton’s life expect for times when she longs for her lost love Keller James. The author has a sense of humor, because just when Peyton thinks things are good, Keller ends up at the strip club she works. Peyton is shocked, angry and her body is a traitor, because she reacts to seeing Keller in the worse way, she is WET!

"Peyton.”

“Keller. What the f*** are you doing here?”

“Don’t you think a better question is, what the f*** are you doing here?

“Can you just leave please; I don’t want to see you. Can you make him leave John?”

“I’m not leaving for s***. Not until you talk to me Peyton. I don’t understand what has you upset.”

“You don’t understand what has me upset? Are you kidding me? You left me eighteen and pregnant you fu*king asshole! For all I knew, you were dead! So how dare you come in here and ask me why I do what I do and ask why I’m so upset!”

“I didn’t leave you! I got a letter one day and I was all happy thinking about what you wrote and then bam! You say that you can’t be with me ‘cause of some bullsh*t about being far away and us being apart for so long. That what you wrote and told me Pey!”

“So you’re telling me that you didn’t know about me being pregnant with Ivy?”

“I have a child? If I had known, I would never have left you or my baby, you have to know that Peyton. I honestly thought you didn’t want to be with me anymore and it broke my heart. I loved you all my life. Can I meet her?”

“You want to meet her?”

“yeah, baby, I would love to meet her?”

Peyton and Keller put the piece together and come to the conclusion that someone has kept them apart for the past 5 years. Keller wants to find out who it was but his first priority is his girls. He wants to be a parent in his daughter’s life and he is going to keep also Peyton. Peyton has a lot of turmoil. Where she understands that someone has kept them apart, she feels she can’t trust Keller and is not willing to jump into a relationship with him again. The author writes this story in a way that you feel Peyton’s confused emotions and Keller’s need to want to keep Peyton as his. You could also really feel his anger that someone has purposely kept him from his daughter and the only woman he has loved. He’s willing to take things slow with Peyton but he is doing it on his terms and that is by being all in.

“Planning on staying long?”

“Yeah, cause I don’t plan on leaving my girls anytime soon.”

“You mean girl? Ivy’s your girl, Keller, not me.”

“No Peyton, you and Ivy.”

Let me say, the author can write some sex scenes, HOLY H*** – Keller has a dirty mouth.

“Just feel this Pie. Let me make you feel amazing baby.”

“Holy s***. Touch me.”

“Where baby.”

“I want-no I need you to touch my p***** Keller, please.”

“Hush. I’m going to suck your clit so hard baby, I’ll make you come in seconds. And then I’m gonna f*** you even harder. Eyes. I want to see your eyes Peyton. Watch what I’m doing to you baby.

What a ride! The author throws danger, twists and turns into the story which made it so much more interesting. I enjoyed that this book wasn’t all just about sex. It was so much more than that. Peyton and Keller love each but, it has been 5 years they have a lot to work out, and it took time. Keller was an intense character. He was determined to find out who kept them apart. Keller Is head of his father’s security company so he uses all his contacts and eventually finds out what happened and who was behind it all. Here is where things take a turn. Peyton’s life is at risk when truths come out. Can Keller protect Peyton and Ivy? Will Keller lose Peyton again after everything is revealed? Pick this book and read it and be prepared. You are not going to believe the WTF moment.

Enticed by You is Amy Muscat's debut novel and I have to say she did a pretty d*mn good job with it. What would you do if someone stepped in and destroyed the relationship that you had with your significant other, unbeknownst to you. What if all communication had stopped between you and your best friend at the worst possible time and you were made to feel like you were no longer wanted? What would you do when he walked back through that door 5 years later, angry and blaming you for the breakup? When you had nothing to do with it. Would you both be able to set aside your anger and try to find the one responsible for ending what was the best thing in both your lives?

Peyton Emerson's world has fallen apart. Her boyfriend Keller has gone off to war and the letters have stopped. Broken hearted she slowly picks the pieces of her life back up and starts to move forward. With the help of her best friend Lottie, she builds a new life for herself. Working two jobs to keep herself busy and live somewhat comfortable, she continues to push forward. Until Keller walks back into her life. When they find out that someone has had a hand in breaking them apart all those years ago, Keller makes it his mission to find out who it was. When he let's Peyton know that he will fight for her, that they belong together, her walls start to crumble.

I loved this story, not just because I beta read, but because it was a fresh breath of air. A change of pace. The characters are awesome. Peyton is strong and determined to make something of her life. Lottie, who happened to be my favorite, it a total riot. She is snarky and protective, she has been their for Peyton through so much hurt, anger and joy. Keller, oh Lord, that man and his mouth!!! I love a dirty talking bad boy and he delivers!!! He is also so sweet, kind and extremely protective of what is his and will stop at nothing to keep Peyton safe.

This story is a bot of a roller coaster ride, filled with twists and turns and OMFG, I did not see that coming. For a first book, I think Ms. Muscat did a great job, writing about believable characters and situations that may just be happening somewhere in real life. I look forward to reading book 2. Yes book 2, Lottie is getting her own story!!!

I do not need to know the exact way a character brushes their teeth. I do not need to know how said character dries their body after a shower. All that unnecessary detail drives me insane. And I know I can't continue.

Second Chance
Secret baby

Lulu's Library: "Another completely safe second chance and secret baby book. They are each other's first, and both are celibate during the separation. Possible triggers: the heroine is a stripper, and they meet again in a bachelor party at the club she works; but he specifically says he has never gone to a strip club before."

This story is about betrayal, lies, revenge and Second Chance Romance.

Peyton is a 23 yr old single mom to a five year old daughter. Five years ago Peyton heart was ripped out when her first love Keller went off to the military. Suddenly after he leaves she finds out she’s is pregnant and writes him a letter to let him know. She never thought she would get a letter back form Keller like she did, telling her he wants nothing to do with her or the baby and to move on with her life. Gutted and broken hearted Peyton had no choice to do this on her own. 5 yrs have past and she is working 2 jobs. One in a coffee shop the other she’s not so thrilled about, a stripper. One night a group of men for a Bachelors party came in and Peyton was surprised at whose lap she would be dancing on.

“Gasping I turned around and saw his face. The face of the boy who broke me almost five years ago and left me eighteen and pregnant.”

Let’s just say things got real interesting. Peyton and Keller are thrown through a tail spin. They learn someone messed with their lives. Keller had never written such letter and he had no idea he had a daughter. I tell you I choked up when he first sees his daughter. Tear jerker!! I couldn’t imagine knowing you had a child and someone would do such deceitful things. I was angry and I was so ready to find out who did it.

Since this is all new news for Peyton and Keller, you see two young kids at the time now adults trying to get through what has become of their lives. They didn’t have too much of a problem. The sexual tension was there and the love. At first Peyton held on to the anger and hate from the past 5 years and then to know it wasn’t true was hard for her to grasp. Slowly she lets down her defenses and lets Keller in. Seeing these two together with made my heart melt. I’m a sucker for second chance love, especially when 2 people who love each other so much were ripped apart due to lies. Ugh!! So frustrating.

Over all the story was great! There is so much action that goes down in the book and some twist. I had an idea who was the one keeping them apart but was completely surprised to the other stuff that went on. As Keller, I LOVE him!!! He makes me swoon and he’s a dirty talking man too!!

“The love I feel for you goes bone deep, you’re my soul mate, Pey, and I’ll never let you go again. Me and You? We’re like a double helix pie. We’ll never be apart.”

*I have received an ARC copy for an honest review*
Enticed by You by Amy Muscat are about two people, Peyton and Keller, who grew up together and have a lifetime of young memories. However, under awful circumstances, each went their separate ways without the other and grew up to be two very different people.

Peyton is a character that I admire. As a single mother, she put herself through things that would shame people. Peyton did what others are sort of intimidated to go through, but she did it. Peyton sacrificed her dignity and had people question her integrity just to make sure her daughter didn’t want for nothing. It was heart breaking at parts when little Ivy, Peyton and Keller’s five year old little girl, would ask about her father. I actually had to take a break because I became an emotional mess.

Keller is this goofball, dirty talking, alpha with a heart of gold. He can make you blush and swoon pretty much simultaneously. I just love reading about men who love their women and don’t care who knows it. My heart may have melted throughout the book.

“He said that everyone loves some pie. That they were always warm and when you got a slice of pie, it made a person happy and he was always happy when I was with him.” –Keller to Peyton

There were some grammar errors. Such as using the word “they” instead of “they’re” and some run on sentences. Those were a bit distracting I’ll have to admit but it didn’t take too much away from the story. There were also a lot of fillers that could have been flushed out.

I really actually enjoyed Enticed by You. I stayed up all night and have the book hangover to prove it. The story had a great plot and good execution; just a few things needed to be tweaked. There is no cliffhanger but maybe a second with the side characters? I really want to know more about Lottie and Blake’s story. I hope there is a second book… hint, hint. I’m keeping an eye out for this author and her future novels that are hopefully to come.

Peyton Emerson has a broken heart. When her heart-throb, Keller deploys to Afghanistan, she vows to wait for him. Unfortunately, life - as always - has different plans for Peyton. Reaching out to Keller during his tour, she tells him that she is pregnant with his child. He writes back telling her that he wants nothing more to do with her or their unborn child. Peyton reluctantly places her life on hold to work full time, and raise her daughter on her own.

Working two jobs to provide for her, and Ivy, Peyton has just about reached ends meet. She dances by night under multi-colored lights high up on a stage, and waits tables by day. Under appreciated, and tired of being ogled by men, she's rather shocked when Keller shows back up in her life.

Does Fate have something in store for Peyton, Ivy, and Kellar? Did Kellar show back up in Peyton's life to cause more pain for her? Fortunately (or is it unfortunately?!) they learn that someone had a hand in breaking the two of them apart so many years ago. With this information, Kellar sets out to make things right, and bring his family home with him.

Kellar plans to show Peyton, and Ivy that he has what it takes to make things right. First things first though, he wants to set things straight by finding out who, or what had a hand in keeping them apart. Enticed By You is an exciting read that will have you waiting for the next page. Amy also made this book out to be an absolutely hot read, and will have you anticipating the next scene between the sheets with Peyton, and Kellar!

Amy Muscat does a wonderful job bringing Enticed By You to the pages. A very heartfelt read that pulls the reader into Peyton's life where she is relieved that Kellar wants to fight for her, relieved that Ivy will have her father in her life, and happy that her hectic, busy life will eventualy slow down for her.

4 STARS!

I liked this book. I am a sucker for a second chance romance and this book was that and so much more. This book had quite a few twists until we go to the big reveal in the end (which I did figure out early on). This book was a fast read that was naughty sexy, sweet, angst, drama, and had one alpha male that made me swoon in the form of sexy and sweet Keller.

This is Peyton and Keller's story. Keller and Peyton were once in love and thought they had the world at the palm of their hands but deceit and lies tore them apart. Years later, their lives are very different yet intertwined in ways they don't know. As they try to navigate life, love, and getting to know one another, lies will be told and secrets will be revealed. Will Peyton and Keller be able to get their happy ending?

I loved Keller. I loved how sweet and persistent he was. He wanted his life, family and Peyton back and the man did not let anything get in his way. I loved how he shielded her and protected her when she needed it the most. I also liked Peyton and admired her strength and honesty. I loved these two together and was rooting for them until the end.

I recommend this book.

Review for Enticed by You by Amy Muscat

Review done for Hooked on Books

4 ½ stars out of 5

Enticed by You is a story about misplaced betrayal and revenge.

Peyton and Keller were high school sweet hearts until Keller had to go off to war.
While he is away, Peyton discovers she is pregnant. She writes to Keller to let him know and is devastated when his return letter states he wants nothing to do with her or the baby.

As a single mom, Peyton turns to stripping to help her pay her bills. One night on shift, she is summoned to the VIP room and her world turns upside down. Keller is back.

Things are definitely not what they seem to be, and both are stunned by truths revealed.

Peyton is such a wonderful character. She is a great mom and friend. She has been through a lot.

Keller is hot and sexy and turns out to be a great dad and awesome boyfriend.

Their story is heartbreaking at first, but switches to a fantastic love story. There were lots of twists and turns and I kept wanting to turn the pages to see what happened next.

I definitely recommend this book.

There were so many things wrong with this book and god the writing was terrible, i honestly don't know how this got published.

1. There is NOTHING WRONG with being a stripper, nothing at all, if thats what you want to do then do it and i find it disgusting how authors always say stripping is dirty and judge women for dancing! it pisses me off so much.

2. There was so much detail like way too much, i dont need to know 24/7 how many sugars she has in a cup of tea or how long she brushes her teeth for or every detail instructions of her getting dressed like fucking hell.

3. The writing was just yuck, the editing was just as bad, all the paragraphs and literally everything was just all thrown together and it honestly made this book look cheap. it felt like a bad homework assignment a year 7 grader turned in because they just didn't care.

4. what happened to her parents? the h was told some shocking information about her parents while she was kidnapped but then nothing comes from it? it just goes to the epilogue and you dont even find out? WTF!!

just dont read this, its nothing but a major disappointment.

Peyton Emerson is working as a stripper in NYC to keep food on the table for her and her child Ivy.
Her boyfriend whom she loved dearly wanted nothing to do with her. Luckily, she has great parents and a great best friend/roommate Lottie.
One night she comes across the father of her child and he makes it clear that he wants her back.
Keller James has been away fighting in Afghanistan and now that he's back in the States, he won't stop until he finds the only woman he has loved. Convincing her that he never stopped might be the problem.

The book had a good premise. A second chance romance with deceit, love and friendship.
The characters were all ok, however the story felt unrealistic.
I do appreciate the lack of cheating and cliffhanger.

Cliffhanger: No

Clever wordplay with the title Amy! ;-)

Well we all know this is a topic that has been well-used over time. BUT the writer gave this her own twist and threw some curveballs in here and there.

Overall this is a pretty easy read with a happily ever after and NO cheating. Perfect recipe right?

Who doesn't like a talk, dark and handsome hunk of a man who swoops in and saves the day?

This is a story about epic love and about a couple finding their way back to one another despite all the problems that have been thrown at them.

The ending/epilogue was fairly expected but very fitting and well deserved for them.

Second chance at love!!! When you are ripped apart by lies can you come back together and make a go of it? Or will the lies just keep coming?

Love that the author took you back into the past for more understanding of the reasons of the split. Keller is sweet, and very protective. Peyton is strong and has a wonderful support system. You really get to feel the emotions of this couple, the confusion, the anger, the distrust, and the love.

But in the end will all the lies be cleared up so they can move on or will they once again let the lies rip them apart?

I recommend this book

Ive read a lot of books. Ive read a lot of books written in a lot of different ways, past, present, 3rd person..etc. I have never read a book that in the same paragraph switched to at least three. This was so horribly written I couldn't waste my time any more. Every single movement was explained from showering to I said, she said, They said. The plot had real potential but would need to be written by a completely different person to actually work out. Luckily for me it actually has been, and was a pretty good read unlike this one. I truly wish I never even started this though. That was BAD.

I love stories about second chances and this book was really good.

Peyton is mum to Ivy. Working two jobs and living with her friend Lottie, Peyton works hard to give her daughter the best she can. She's still feeling hurt by her ex Kellar for abandoning them. When she comes face to face with him will the truth come out???

Lots of twists and turns, emotional scenes and hot sexy scenes had me gripped from start to finish. Highly recommend this book.

3 stars for the great plot, I really enjoyed it. I also really liked the characters which always makes a novel and good read!

However, I have to mention the awful, awful editing (if there was any?) I hate writing bad reviews but I want to be honest!

Almost every sentence had some kind of error and it was so distracting to read! Just as a quick example: "He growled and quickly ridded himself of his boxers" ... DIDDED. REALLY?

Keller-Pie

This story was a nice change. It did take a while to get to the point ( 40%). But then things took off. The other characters in the story I could see having their own standalone.
