Pick up "Trapped with the Earl of Sin" today to discover Violet's fantastic new story!
Violet Hamers knew from an early age that writing was something she always wanted to do. Growing up, her time was divided between writing stories and taking part in theatrical plays, that she used to perform exclusively for her family and friends.
As she loves reading and writing, she is rarely found without a book in her hands, or her fingers glued to a keyboard. Her love for reading led her to Jane Austen's world--the regency historical world that won her over in comparison to any other genre!
Even though being an author is not a simple task, her dream of becoming one has finally come true as she is currently writing Regency novels...romances her readers will love!
Follow Violet into a world of romance and fairytale, of passion and intrigue, and live unforgettable happy-ever-afters along with her protagonists that she guarantees you will remember forever.
An enjoyable regency romance. Honestly, while it is a fast flowing page turning tale, it's not the best from this author, but you can't knock them out of the park every time. If you are looking for a light regency romance to take you away for a few hours, this book will do the job and I'm personally looking forward to Violet Hamer's next offering.
Entertaining read, not consistently honoring the period
This was a good read with a lot of suspense. It seems to follow a developing tendency of many Regency romance authors to divest the text of conventional forms of period address and customs. The characters were warm and appealing, but their behavior and speech deviated from authentic Regency life. The plot was well-conceived, but moved at a slow pace at times. The title of this book made little sense. The hero was never identified as the Earl of Sin, and only once referred to as a rogue. The main characters were never trapped together. Overall, this was an entertaining read in a genre that is leaning toward the modern, probably to attract new readers.
I enjoyed this story. It is well-written. Martin and Susanna met when Susanna's sister, Mary, and Martin's friend, Luke, were preparing for their wedding. Mary's fiancé had been murdered and she had found happiness in a second chance with Luke. However, a previous suitor, Edwin, was persistent in wanting to be with Mary. Susanna and Martin became suspicious of Edwin's attention and the story details their efforts to protect Luke and Mary. This leads to a growing relationship between Susanna and Martin. Will they manage to keep Luke safe so that Mary is able to find happiness again? Will Susanna and Martin find happiness too? Read on and enjoy.
Wonderful book and characters from the first page to the last, only thing missing was an extended epilogue to see their lives evolved. They come together for her sister’s wedding trying to solve a mystery of how her first betrothed was murdered. They believe it was Luke’s cousin. They have known each other for years little knowing that in each other they have found their one true love. They solve the mystery , falling in love and get their HEA! Highly recommend and happy reading!🙂
Trapped With the Earl of Sin is a hot and sexy book with intriguing characters and a great storyline. Susanna and Martin have amazing chemistry right from the beginning except both do not believe in love. They pair up to keep Mary and Luke safe from Edwin until the wedding when they realize Edwin is a threat to the engaged couple. Susanna and Martin can’t fight their own feelings while being hero’s. Great book. Thanks Violet Hamers.
Steamy; consummation shortly before marriage. Martin and Suzanna are concerned about a threat to Luke and Mary. Martin and Luke are best friends. Suzanna and Mary are sisters. There is an unsolved murder of Duncan. The resolution of all things adds a bit of excitement to the end.
A lot of people in this - a lot happens - once you start this you know you have to follow it through. Two great love stories - Mary and Luke someone means them harm Suzanne and Martin - Need to talk . ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT I RECEIVED AN ARC COPY
The heroine’s sister and the hero’s friend are to get married. The heroine is very protective of her sister, especially since her first fiancé died. The hero also wants to see this wedding succeed. As they work together, against a man trying to stop it, they become involved themselves. It had some suspense, but didn’t seem true to the time period in all aspects.
Not just a love story but a mystery and then two people putting them selves in danger to protect their love ones if you like a story with a bit of intrigue this is one for you
