Rate this book
Between 1981 and 1991, Apple was a boiling pot of talent. They prototyped digital movies, video games, interactive maps portable PCs, and then invented the modern media-rich world.

The historical timeline of events in the pre-Apple era up through the launch of the first PowerBook was amazing to read.

The interview statements made this book and it was very insightful to read them.

There is a lot of information in this book as it is trying to tell the story of many different people and many different designs all in a chronological order. Thus the reading can feel a bit scrambled if the reader isn’t able to discern the implications of a specific software or hardware change described.
