Series Status: Still mad. Still invested. Still simping for Gage.

Let me start by saying this: I am STILL 100% in this series. I'm not jumping ship. I’m not tapping out. But I am pissed.
Book three lit my fuse and then danced on the ashes. The drama kicked off because Gabe’s secret identity came out—and suddenly, our “I never run” FMC lost all ability to communicate. The same woman who heard him say “talk to me, don’t run, trust me” on repeat decided to take a single breadcrumb of drama, slap it into a meltdown sandwich, and flee the scene like she was starring in a soap opera.
Gabe, meanwhile, was out here dealing with everything solo—hurt, exposed, isolated—while she’s off in a damn cabin with Dmitri having emotional hot chocolate and sex. And listen, I love Dmitri. He’s sweet. Supportive. Built for healing. But watching Gage suffer while she played cozy with the backup boyfriend had me foaming at the mouth.
To make things worse, the reason she spirals is literally just some bitter ex stirring up shit on social media. Not truth. Not betrayal. Just mess. And instead of asking Gage, instead of talking like a grown-ass woman, she punishes him for it.
I fucking hated that. She acted selfish as hell, and it knocked her way down on my FMC scale. Especially since both men are clearly devoted to her and trying their best to work through the mess.
That said, when she finally got her shit together, the reunion with Gage did hit emotionally. And yes—the smut delivered. Again. Always. This book still gave me the heat I wanted, and even though I wanted to throat-punch the main girl more than once, I’m still riding hard for the series.
Final thoughts: Frustrating. Spicy. Infuriating. Still addictive. And Gage is still Daddy. Period.

As a CJ fan, this book keeps the melodramatic and spicy elements her works are known for. Fun, fast-paced, and intriguing with lovable characters that keep you coming back for the whole series.

I am LOVING this series - Gage, Leah and Dimitri are so great together (and separate). Thinking this was the last book of the series I was getting a little nervous about the 3-some - but what a cliff hanger!
Gage is a guy you just want to love - he tries so hard to be an awesome person and he truly feels for Leah, to have his past slammed into his face. Dimitri is always there for Leah and provides her with her releases - and that's always HOT. What a great series - and now that there is a 4th book I am THRILLED!! Can't wait for the next book.

Love this throuple! I was thinking this was the last book of the auction series and it most definitely is not and ends on SUCH an exciting cliffhanger!
I love poor, broken Gage in this series. This broody man in glasses just seems to be such a yummy character. His past drama just seems to be making this worse and worse for the trio.
Cannot wait to see how Gage, Leah and Dimitri tackle this new rumor. Hoping to get good news for our new meddling friend and good things for Danica too!
