Liked Dyana a lot more than i was expecting. From the previous book we knew she had to do stuff to survive. She's been through a lot on top of the fact that she has to deal with the apocalypse. Shes such a strong woman.

As much as I disagree with one or two of her decisions I dont blame or judge her for them. The worst thing in the Apocalypse ain't the zombie 😭. She's a fighter and a survivor and did what needed to be done to make it.

I loved how we got to see a really sweet loving side to her with Cora and the baby but also with her men. I love how the men. They never stopped looking for her especially Jack. He made it his mission to find his woman and that's what he did. Evan and Bryce became just as obsessed as she was. They all went together perfectly.

We got background info on Dyana and one of the guys. Would have liked to learn a little bit more about the other two. In all honesty it doesn't matter cause the past is the past especially in the apocalypse I just liked them a lot and wanted to know more.

Love seeing Cora and her men still thriving. Can't wait for the next book but I'm definitely gonna miss Cora and Dyana (unless a character finds their way to them😩)

Dyana is the third book in the Love in the Apocalypse series written by N. A. Jameson.

💜 zombies
💜 second chances
💜 healing from the past
💜 why choose
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice

Dyana had her life now in the tower. She loved being able to hang out with Cora, her men, and baby Johnny. Sometimes it was hard not to get sucked into her memories of what she had to do when zombies came into town. She’s not ok with what she had to do to survive. Who would be? Will she ever be able to forgive herself? Will she ever be able to move forward? What about a love life? Can she ever move forward with her own love life?

This was a good addition to this series. I loved the world building and character building that happened in this story. We got to know characters more from the pervious book as well as new characters. I’ve really enjoyed this series and the twists and turns that it takes in this zombified world. I really enjoyed this book.

loved it

I love a good zombie apocalypse rh/wc story and this did not disappoint.

Dyana has had a hard life since the beginning of the apocalypse. Losing her roommate, her family being held captive in a horrible situation and used like a dirty tissue. It’s easy to understand her being the woman who made appearances in Cora’s book. Her situations made her the woman she was and now in a safe place it helped her go back to her roots.

Jack is her ex and high-school sweetheart who broke her heart. Evan and Bryce are jacks best friends. When the world plunged into chaos Jack and his friends went on an adventure to find Dyana. 4 years later they are reunited and deal with some heavy topics.

Bryce is by far my favorite! Little Johnny and the kitten too. I loved that this little settlement helped Dyana slay her demons and that they support each other in trying times.

I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series!

Forever hurting peopl

This starts on the day the virus hits the college Dyana is attending. We follow as she is captured, attempts to help while only trying to survive.

It's not easy being a woman during an apocalypse. Men see you as a breeding vessel. So Dyana learns to use her body to keep herself safe. I give her so much props for doing what needed to be done to survive in such a harsh environment.

We also follow Jack as he tries to get to the one that got away. Jack still loves Dyana and his friends feel like they know her so well from stories they are practically in love with her too. Years after the virus hit they get lucky and find out she is still alive.

Can these guys break through all the fear, anxiety and self hatred to the woman underneath? Of course her past is still chasing her too and that could derail any hopes.

We now get Dyana’s story. It not all roses and sweet nothings. Her story is a little darker than Cora’s. There are times that I was liking her personality but she quickly redeems herself. She has to endure things that she shouldn’t have to. We see Jack, Bryce, and Evan. These three have fantastic personalities that are easy to like. They definitely add the beauty to the story with how much the show they care. The story is extremely well written and developed. I love we get interactions with characters from Cora’s story. As we journey alongside Dyana and her life you feel like you are right there with her pain, happiness, and sorrow. I loved how the story ends. It is definitely a fantastic read and doesn’t disappoint.

Oooo I've been waiting for dyanas story since we got coras book! Getting to know her back story and why she became the way she was turned out to be very eye opening. When Jack, Bryce and Evan turn up at the tower she's rightfully freaked out. She hasn't seen jack in years and she's afraid he won't like her anymore after he learns what a monster she had to become to survive. Her story is painful, but I love the way those three men love her beyond a shadow of a doubt. They help quell her demons and finally she's learning she's not a monster, but a woman who deserves to love and be loved. Can't wait for the next book!

This was a quick and exciting read. Honestly, I have enjoyed each of the "Love in the Apocalypse" books.
Dyana was a great FMC. She was resilient, smart, and a fighter. It was good to see her finally open up and realize that she deserved happiness.
This book had action, danger, and suspense. In addition, there was humor, lots of spice, and some emotional moments.
Im really glad Dyana and her men got their HEA.
It was also good to see Cora and her family too.

Redemption

This is the third book in the Love in the Apocalypse shared world but must be read after Cora. This is really Dayna redemption story. She finally gets her HEA after all the horrible crap she had to go through at the beginning of the apocalypse. Her guys are truly devoted to her and that is just lovely. There is some steamy spicy goodness sprinkled throughout and the ending is very satisfying.

Dyana is a baddie, plain and simple. Did she do some questionable things to survive...sure. But in an apocalyptic world, we'd all do some shady stuff if we wanted to live, so let's be real. If you've read the previous books, you know how things went with Cora. Highly recommend reading her book beforehand. But if not, let's just say she didn't start out on the best foot with her current bestie. lol

Spice: 🌶🌶.5

This story is a Dyana and her 3 men. It starts off so well. Dyana has been through so much and thinks she is not worthy. But her friends and men show her she is worth it. It was gut-wrenching and made me want to cry a few times. But I stuck too, and I am glad I did.

I loved that we got to have Cora and her men as well. Dyana has some amazing friends.

if you love Zombie books and RH, then pick this up.

Loved this book even more than the last ‘Cora’. This story was darker and even more addicting. I am down for a ‘why choose’ anytime! Dyana has a hard life story that I couldn’t predict. Dark, SPICY and so entertaining. Love in an apocalypse, is it possible?

It was such a pleasure to see Dyana get her HEA!! Her journey through the apocalypse has been heartbreaking. The strength that she has found, despite how she feels about herself, is inspiring. Plus, her men are so sweet and obsessed with her! I enjoyed getting to see some more of Cora and her men as well. Please make sure to check the TWs before reading as the subject matter is rather heavy in places.

I don’t usually love apocalypse or zombie books but this one was great. The characters and story line sucked me in right away. I wanted nothing more than to see Dyana get her HEA and take care of all the monsters that stood in her way (human or otherwise). This book is a why choose romance set in a post apocalypse setting. It was great. Can’t wait to read the rest in this series.

Nebby is back in her post-apocalyptic world with Dyana and her three suitors.

Dyana is directly linked with Cora's story (book 2). It was nice to see Cora and her men all over again and see the huge change in the mute Cora to the happy bossy woman she has become. But, back to Dyana.

Dyana showed up in Cora's story as a dangerous presence that threatened her family. Cora saw there was more to Dyana than danger though and the two became friends. After Cora's happy ending, three men show up looking for Dyana and after trusting they had good intentions they bring them home with them to Dyana.

This is the start of Dyana's story. Like the other stories from this world, Nebby gives us pieces of their past that led them to their present. Unlike the others there is a history between the characters in this one.

Dyana's first love and high school boyfriend, Jack is one of the men. They were even attending the same college when the outbreak reached the town and while both escaped, they ended up in very different places. While Dyana suffered some through some traumatic events, she became stronger doing whatever she needed to survive, however; some of her actions were questionable leaving her regretting her choices and her worth as a person.

Meanwhile, Jack and his two best friends Evan and Bryce tried to locate their own families before Jack insisted, they search for the only woman he will ever love. With all the time Jack has spent talking about her both men have found that they are falling for her without even meeting her.

Once they are all bought together Evan and Bryce find that they do love Dyana as much as Jack does and while Jack might plan on doing everything to have her back Dyana doesn't want anything to do with Jack after he broke her heart in high school.

The guys start to break down Dyana's reinforced walls and win over her affections, but the world is a dangerous place, and the zombies aren't the worst that are out there. When trouble comes for them, they'll have to face it together or risk losing their slice of peace and happiness.

I thought all of the guys were great characters and while they had similar easy-going personalities, they each bought their own individuality to the group that made them a great combination with Dyana. The past and the present will collide in this story and there is no slow burn like the others in this series and plenty of spice. It's got a good story behind all that spice, and it all mixes up to be a good overall story.

Happy Reading.

N.A. did it again!!
I was already hooked on this series with Bailey (#1). I am sucked in over and over with each new book & I am so here for it!
Getting a story for Dyana was amazing, especially since we didn't initially get the best impression of her. (IYKYK) I was extremely happy to get the chance to get some of her history and uncover why she's done what she has. No, I'm not giving any of it away!
It's clear right from the start that Dyana has been carrying a lot of weight around with her in one form or another. The apocalypse exploding in the form of zombies did NOT help at all. If I'm gonna be honest, Dyana's story offers a perfect example of how crazy and out of whack things can get with a new reality like that. How cold and out of control things can become.
So uncovering everything she's gone through certainly dragged me through a lot of emotions (& making me realize I need to invest in a jar of soft things I can throw, because I REALLY wanted to throw something at times!). Though we do deal with some rage and sorrow, we also get excitement and some much needed "AWEEEE" with the chapters for the present.
She's dealt with a lot but she absolutely deserves the chance to start over. Start fresh and happy.
I was here for it! Dyana absolutely needed to heal from everything she dealt with, more than deserved the chance for happiness.
N.A. didn't give us a fantastic book without some major twists inside it & she did it so well! She had me making theories and left me guessing right to the very end.
I am SO EXCITED for the next installment in this series. Okay, I am climbing the walls, excited. LOL!
Fantastic job, N.A.!!! I can't wait to get this as a paperback for my shelf -- and to read it again and again!

Ok so I thought Cora was a badass, Dyana? she is a complete and total badass and a survivor and I loved every minute of this book.

When it comes to a zombie apocalypse you have to do and endure things to survive, and you have to learn lessons quick; like Dyana says "you freeze you die." Compared to Cora, Dyana's 5 years of the apocalypse was NOT easy nor was it butterflies and rainbows. She learned quick that zombies aren't your only monsters and you have to fight humans and zombies. She did what she did to survive and she's a total badass for it.

While Jack, Bryce, and Evan 5 years wasn't as monstrous as Dyana they had to live through their journey until they found Dyana. They were very persistent on making Dyana know they weren't leaving her and that she wasn't a monster. It took time but they did. And with all macho men who think they need to protect their women, they learned quickly that Dyana could handle herself. She let it be known quick that they are either her partners or they were nothing. They learned but it seems Jack still has problems understanding that but he'll eventually fully learn lol

Once I started I couldn't put it down. Devoured this book within 24 hours

We know Dyana a little bit from the prior parts of this story, and I'll be honest, she's not been a really likable character. We do find out that her motivations have come in part because of the things that have happened to her since the apocalypse. Dyana's been forced to make choices no one should have to make in order to survive. When Jack, Dyana's ex, decides with his best friends that they need to find her, I'm sure that they weren't expecting the initial reception that they got from her (well, maybe Jack should have, but the others had no idea).

The way that the guys (and Cora and her guys and the baby(ies)) help Dyana to recognize that she can now do more than just try and survive is really sweet. She is so doggone stubborn that it takes a lot o the book for her to see that they really do love her and just want her to be as safe and happy as she can possibly be. The search for chickens cracked me up! Also, don't miss the epilogue!

Romance in an apocalypse can be surprisingly intense.

Dyana fled her dorm room the day zombies started appearing, fearing for her family's safety. Desperately, she searches for them but ultimately ends up captive and hunted.

Meanwhile, Jack still loves Dyana. The moment the zombies emerged, he and his two best friends set out to find her. Years later, they finally locate her, but Dyana's past continues to haunt her.

This enthralling and engaging read is filled with darkness and depicts what you would expect to happen after the world collapses. Dyana endures unimaginable hardships, hunted and forced to do things she never thought she would. Despite the dark tone, the book is surprisingly sweet; Jack's unwavering devotion to Dyana is a major draw, and Dyana's fierce strength is incredible to witness.

WOW! YES! Wholly and holy F**K!

Bad-a$$ is an understatement when describing Dyana! I’ve read some books that had some pretty amazing FMCs in them but I don’t know if any of them topped Dyana! You can say what you want about her methods of survival but none of it should be negative…you truly don’t know what you’d do if you were in her situation. She used what she had to survive not just physically but also mental survival. The way she finally ends what’s chasing her is just awesome; very much deserved. Her punishment was also deserved and pretty great!
Those looking for a post apocalyptic zombie book with spicy scenes…yes this has it!! It has a great plot and character development and spice…plus it’s not a long read! Good stuff!

The next instalment in the "Love in the Apocalypse" series and oh wow does this one come with the feels. Dyana does not have an easy trek during the story but my gosh does that make the story oh so good.
Was a great mix between the emotional gravity of Dyana's journey and the warm fuzzy hope Jack holds onto through the same time.
This book is a lot darker than what the first two are, so definitely check the trigger warnings, but oh man does it make the story that much more engrossing.
Was a lot of fun seeing old characters again too and the antics they have been getting up to since the last book.
Really enjoyed this book and highly recommend.

Kinks/Tropes: zombies, apocalypse, mfmm, oral, DP, group scenes, edging, spanking, bondage, priest scenes (not one of the MMCs)

Warning: SA (not from MMCs), cheating

Thoughts:

The long epilogue couldn’t save the book for me. I don’t condone cheating, regardless if it is an apocalypse or not. For the FMC to purposes get in between marriages to ensure her safety was not okay for me. I understand she was on the run, but it felt grimy to me.

The best part of this book and why I I continue the series is the zombies. There is a good amount, at least to me, compared to other series I have read.

Wouldn’t reread this book.

This is the third in love in the apocalypse. Dyana is a nice character and I loved reading her book. We knew she had to do stuff in order to survive and at first you'd think you can't relate to her but when you get to know her oh absolutely! For sure I love the fact she is written with faults and I can't blame her for them. I do think that the book would of benefitted if we knew a little more about the guys but that's just preference. I still enjoyed this one and I certainly hope there's more to come in the series.

Honestly I was super skeptical of this book.
I’m not big into the zombie apocalypse vibes but I was surprised with how much I actually enjoyed this book. I haven’t read any of the others in this series so I can’t really compare this book to them.

Dyana is a total badass and is perfectly capable of taking care of herself. After 5 years of surviving on her own she does run into her guys Jack, Bryce and Evan. While these guys fell protective over Dyana they are learning that she doesn’t need them to take care of her.

I've read a lot of books involving zombies, but this one has them beat. The reader isn't overwhelmed with constant interactions with zombies but just enough to keep you on edge. It's all the other parts of the story that overwhelm, from the losses, the fear of humans/ monsters, the ever present danger, building connections with friends, and love. So much happens in this story that I want to read more and more about this world our author has created.

While dystopian isn't my normal go to read, I really enjoyed this one. Dyana and her guys are such great characters and so well written that my heart actually hurt from all the pain and suffering that Dyana went through.
Loved their relationships and the fact even after four years of not a whisper of Dyana, the guys never gave up one finding her.

DNF at 43%

The entire recounting of Dayna’s time at the church left a bad taste. She kept saying it was for survival but I didn’t understand her logic. She didn’t even want to stay there initially and I don’t think her actions were required for her to be allowed to stay.

What a refreshing read

This story blended hot with character growth wonderfully. I loved both seeing the things the h did to survive and seeing the H's help her to love herself again.
The balance of realism and spice was truly next level. One of the best of the genre imo.

I really enjoyed reading Dyana's story. She was a true heroine in surviving by any means necessary. Finding her men and watching her become the person she does was so good. I absolutely enjoyed this book.
