An epic fantasy novel that follows a young girl, the sole survivor of a massacre against her "not well understood" people. She must join the fight to save her kingdom from evil. The author masterfully weaves the lives of the characters together, revealing their intertwined fates. They all have a part to play but will it be enough?

I love the way the author brings the characters together in the most unexpected way. She keeps you guessing throughout the book. Love the strong female characters and how they overcome what life throws at them. Really enjoyed this novel and can’t wait to read more from this author.
