I thought uncovering my true heritage would bring me answers, but all I’ve gotten is chaos.
As a descendant of the ancient Shadow Pack, my blood carries secrets, power, and a curse that even I don't fully understand. When Kael, Callista, and I set out to find the second relic, the last thing I expected was to stumble upon Destin—a rogue shifter who’s more wolf than man, chained and held as collateral by a group of ruthless alphas.
Breaking Destin out was supposed to be the easy part. But now, we're stuck together on this mission, and he’s driving me insane with his wild, untamed ways. He’s powerful, dangerous, and downright infuriating. Everything I should be avoiding, especially now that I’m trying to come to terms with my Shadow Pack bloodline.
But the more time I spend with Destin, the more I realize there’s something deeper beneath his rough exterior, something that calls to my wolf in a way I never expected.
Fated mates or not, falling for him could be the biggest mistake of my life. But resisting him? That might just be impossible.
And I can't shake the feeling that Destin is more than just another rogue shifter. He might be the key to unlocking the power I never knew I had…

The story arc spans multiple books, but each one contains a new couple and a new romance, all connected, with all the familiar faces from previous books until we discover the truth of the legends and unite the Shadow Pack once and for all.
Destin and Lana's story was interesting and dramatic.
Destin was a father figure to Kael in the last book. He's a lone wolf, not wanting to be owned or own anyone, yet he took care of other rogues in his area when they needed him. Lana was 3rd in command with Alpha Rowan all the way back to book 1. She's smart, strong and feels alone.
Kael, Callista and Lana rescue Destin from the 3 alphas. Once he's back to better health Destin takes Lana to Lava Rock to see about finding another relic in the quest. Lana is a descendant of the Shadow Pack and is challenged to see if she is worthy of the secrets. Only Lana finds she's not worthy alone. Destin is with her, grounding her, and she needs him. They make it through some of the challenges together but the final one she must do alone. Once she does she presents Destin with a challenge of her own.
This book held more drama. The characters, Destin and Lana, worked well together, though their "pull" to each other was not as focused on as in the previous stories. I found it to be an engaging and quick read.
Book kept me enthralled till the end. I knew this would be Lana but never expected Destin but they are a good match. Both of them are wild and when Lana excepts the her shadow heritage she becomes more. Destin being able to accept her being alpha gives her a safe place to land and rest. I hope she is able to retract at least some of the damage from her fire.

Having realized her Shadow Pack heritage, Lana takes a leave of absence to search for more relics before they can be used against the other packs in the area. In her quest, she releases Destin, a somewhat wild and savage rogue wolf who was captured and tortured by the alphas also pursuing the lost relics. Neither Lana nor Destin want a permanent connection, but as they work together on Lana's quest, they can't deny their attraction. Can they survive the trials facing them and their growing attachment?
Lana is a very capable, strong protagonist. She is driven to protect her pack and she refuses to be distracted from her task. However, she is somewhat obsessed with the idea that she does not actually have a pack. This is somewhat confusing, as she hasn't technically left her pack, she's just stepped down from her position within the pack to hunt the relics. Her pack never indicates that she is not welcome, or that she wouldn't have a place with them once she concludes her search. I suspect she was struggling with her identity now that she knows she has Shadow Pack blood, and is unsure of what that means moving forward. However, this is poorly explained and rather detracts from the story.
Destin, meanwhile, is similarly strong and capable, but he is dead set against packs due to his pervious experience with an abusive alpha. He still feels some community and connection with his fellow rogue wolves, and he does what he can to care for them. He struggles with what he suspects Lana's end goals are, as well as with his own psychic gift. His perseverance is admirable and helps increase the overall impact of the story.
Wild Fated is the third story in the Shadow Pack Legends series. It has a lot more magical happenings, with mysterious and dangerous creatures from legends and mystical trials. It is a very interesting read, and progressed the overall storyline in an intriguing fashion. The romance was the perfect amount of slow burn to give the story added flavor. An overall gratifying tale.

In Wild Fated, the third installment of the Shadow Pack Legends series, the stakes rise even higher, emotions run deeper, and the chemistry between its protagonists burns hotter. Packed with danger, intrigue, and heart-pounding romance, Wild Fated delivers everything fans have come to love and more.
Wild Fated follows a new adventure as Lana, a descendant of the ancient Shadow Pack, embarks on a mission to retrieve the second relic alongside her companions, Kael and Callista. However, the mission takes an unexpected turn when they stumble upon Destin—a rogue shifter bound in chains by a group of ruthless alphas.
What begins as a rescue operation quickly becomes something far more complicated. Destin’s wild, untamed nature not only ruffles Lana’s nerves but also draws her in like a magnetic force. As they team up for the mission, their undeniable connection intensifies. But there’s a deeper, more dangerous undercurrent to Destin’s story - he’s no one’s property! The more Lana learns about him, the more she realizes that he might be the key to unlocking her own powers—and the ancient bloodline she's trying to understand.
Fated mates or not, falling for someone like Destin could be a catastrophic mistake. Still, resisting him may be the most impossible task she’s ever faced. And with the looming threat of dangerous alphas and a secret about her bloodline waiting to be uncovered, time is running out.
Wild Fated dives deep into themes of fate, power, and self-discovery. The tension between accepting one’s destiny and rejecting it is central to the plot.

This is the third book in this magical, mystical paranormal romance and it focused around Dusttin and Lana. These two are fundamentally at odds over practically everything, or so it seems at the start. Destin learned early on that Alpha's abuse power and control rather than nurture and support their packs, as he believed they should. As a result, he spent his live helping and caring for those dismissed because of differences or lacking a home "community". His ability as a psi (feeling the emotions of others) made it easier to be isolated so as not to be overwhelmed.
Lana, on the other hand, was Rowan's beta and was searching for the relics scattered from the leader of the Shadow Pack - a pack she only recently learned she's a member of by blood. She believes the relics need to be kept from the hands of those who would abuse their power. Destin believes they should be destroyed because ANYONE is susseptable to abusing power when that much is available before them. Really, they both have valid arguments. Perhaps the answer lies in locating all of them BEFORE anyone else so they then have the ability to make the choice to destroy them at that time. The search for the relics in this book places the two nemesis as team members in finding a sacred stone. There are twists along their journey, and even once they arrive, that neither saw coming when they left his cabin. They may just be forced to learn to work together, to trust eachother, if either hopes to return to their old life.
I received a gift copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Im looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Happy Reading Y'all
In "Wild Fated," the third instalment of the Shadow Pack Legends series by Luna M. Rose, the story picks up with protagonist Lana departing from the newly established Kootenay pack to aid Kael and Callista in their mission to liberate Destin from the clutches of the nefarious Northern Alphas and locate the remaining mystical relics.
As the plot unfolds, Lana finds herself inexplicably drawn to Destin, a character shrouded in mystery and danger. His commanding presence and infuriating demeanour challenge Lana at every turn, as he demonstrates a blatant disregard for the traditional ways of pack life. Amidst the mounting tension and high-stakes action, Lana grapples with her own identity, coming to terms with her unique heritage as a member of the shadow pack.
While the author excels at vividly depicting the mundane aspects of the characters' lives, such as their shopping excursions and the comforting familiarity of returning home, there remains a pervasive sense of ambiguity surrounding the true nature of the dangers faced by the shifters and the intricate workings of their pack dynamics.
Although difficult to pinpoint precisely what element is lacking, the narrative seems to be yearning for a deeper exploration of critical aspects, which would undoubtedly enrich the reader's understanding of the characters' struggles and the complexities of their supernatural world.
I'd rate this 3.75. I enjoyed it and really loved seeing more of Lana as I'd been hoping for by the end of book 2. I enjoyed the plot and exploring the mysteries of the shadow pack and relics. I just wish there had been a little bit more. More detail, particularly when it came to the side characters/previous couples. I understand that this series has a focus on the romance between whichever couple we are following but I think we really miss out on having a well rounded story when we don't get to see too much of the side characters/past couples and their developpement as the series progresses, and an opportunity to start to learn and develop opinions about the next book's couple. I found that so far book 2 seemed to have done that the best, leaving me excited to see how Lana's story would play out. We get a little taste in book 3 but I would've just liked more. Ex. Get to see things from a previous couples point of view, scenes with them and how they are dealing, etc. Otherwise, I liked this book the best so far and I can see an improvement in each book's ability to draw me in and keep me engaged. I hope book 4 will continue that trend and we will get a solid 4 stars! (Which for me means i loved it, 5 is god tier very select books throughout my life).

I stumbled on this series but I have loved every step. This book follows on from the previous, although you don’t really need to read them, I’d advise you do as the overall story of their ‘quest’ is connected.
The FMC Lana knows whatever may lie ahead for her is going to be big. She can feel it in her bones. In her wolf. She doesn’t know if she’s really ready but fate isn’t giving her a chance to get to grips with the ideas of her future for any longer, it’s make or break if she wants to protect her family, her pack and those she loves.
The MMC Destin has made his life about isolation and helping those who are shunned from pack life. Alone is best. He can’t hurt anyone or be used by anyone to hurt people. When Lana comes crashing into his life she brings a whole heap of trouble, mystical and shifter. He swears he will only guide her to her destination, but can he really stand back and watch her be tested by fate when his wolf is crying out together they are stronger.
This book was a great adventure of bloodline, fate and those hard to make choices over right and wrong, heart or the greater good. I have devoured these books and now I have to wait for more! My impatience can’t handle it 🤣
⭐ 3.5 🌶️ .5 🥵 Spicy chapters: 26 👀 Dual POV 1st person 🩷 Something I liked: keeping it vague to not give anything away- the shadow pack 🙈 Something I disliked: lack of spice 🛍️ Available: Now
💬 Well, this was definitely a change from the previous two books, which were paranormal romances. But, it's an interconnected series, so you need to read the previous books to know what's going on and the main purpose for this one is to move the overarching plot forward and not just another romance.
This one is different from what I'm used to reading with werewolf shifters. In some ways I'm having a hard time following/understanding some of it because it's not a romance, and that's not really what I was expecting. I also think it really would have helped me to have reread the first two books before reading this one
That said I'm mostly enjoying it, although I wish there was more spice but I always want more spice. I think this book is probably the best storyline out of the three and it's more psychological than physical fighting.
Even though this probably sounds like a negative review, I don't actually think it's a negative experience with this book.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. In the last book we saw Lana was able to hold the cursed blade. She along with Kael and Callie are headed north to free Kaels friend Destin from the clutches of thr Alliance. We meet Destin in wolf form bloodied and battered but what he didn't expect is yo see Kael and 2 she-wolves rescuing him. The one she-wolf...there is smtg different about her. Destin vowed never to be part of a pack again...it's better to be a lone wolf. There is smtg about Destin that has Lana's wolf on edge. They need him to find the next relic and to stop the Alliance. Destin anf Lana dead towards the area where the witch said to go. They are attacked by bone creatures and end up in a shadow type world where Lana was pass tests to prove her worth for the next relic. Can Lana pass and save those she loves or will she become the next victim of the Alliance?
The story begins with an intriguing premise: the FMC is the last remaining member of the Shadow Pack still wielding the dagger that chose her, while the MMC is a rogue wolf intent on staying alone. Their paths cross as they set out on a quest to uncover powerful relics, navigating a series of trials that test their strength and resolve.
I enjoyed some of the creative elements, especially the trials and the relic quest, which added depth and intrigue to the plot. However, the story didn’t fully resonate with me. While I could see the potential in the ideas, there was something missing that kept me from forming a strong connection with the characters.
That said, I’m still curious to see how the series evolves. I’ll likely continue reading, hopeful that the next installment captures more of the spark I was looking for!
This series is unique and super Exciting. It also has wonderful characters. Lana is a spunky she-wolf shifter. To save other shifters, and humans alike. Lana finds herself on a mission to locate dangerous relics. To find these relics she enlisted the help of sexy Destin. A sullen lone wolf shifter. It seems fate has plans for Lana, and Destin. As their wolves keep trying to convince them to mate. Only this adventure the two set off on. Is full of trials, and dangers they must face together. As they fight the attraction they feel towards each other. You will love this super exciting, funny, thrilling, mysterious, and scorching hot five star plus story and series!
This is the third book in the Shadow Pack Legends series and the story focuses on Lana and Destin. There is a overarching story that starts in book 1 and continues in this one. So, if you want to get the full picture, you'll need to read the first two to truly enjoy this one. The book is relatively short (similar to the first two books) but because larger tapestry runs throughout the books, you don't feel rushed. The characters are well written and developed and each couple appears to have a distinct set of challenges and drama that they have to get through. It had plenty of action and movement, so I didn't feel bored at any point. Overall, it was a great read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
- FMC is the only member of the shadow pack that still wield the dagger that chose her
- MMC is rogue wolf that wants to stay alone
- These characters must go on a quest to find more relics
- There are trials!!
- This book fell a little flat for me. I see where her ideas were going, but there was just something missing. Will I continue the series? Probably. I just didn’t bond with these characters as I did her previous books in the series. There are some cool elements that I do appreciate though.

This was a wild ride! Think, Alice in Wonderland meets the 80's movie "Labyrinth"! lol A lot more physical action in this one since the main plot is set, now it's more details. I'm left with a question, and I'm not sure how to address it without giving too much of a spoiler. I'm trying to figure out the reason, for the scene with the food in the shadow lands, and it's side effect's that happened. Why would the "voice" in the shadow lands have that even happen, when it didn't want him to go with her? Everything else the shadow lands put her through had a point, what was the point in that happening if he wasn't supposed to go with her. Other than that, this was a very fun read! ^.^
I have read two of Luna M. Rose’s book back to back and I have to say that both are brilliant and yet, couldn’t be more different if they tried! This book has a far more serious tone. It very well-written and I still felt invested in the characters. This time the story is about the super serious Lana and the intentionally lonely Destin. I loved the chemistry, action, and will they won’t they vibe throughout the book. This is another great read and is a pivotal book in the series, which makes it a must-read!
Having already read the first two, I couldn't wait to dive into this free gift.
This series is so unique! I loved the interactions between Lana and Destin, especially once he finally pulled his head out of his haunches… He was just so stubborn about everything. "I don't want to be owned by anyone." You're not property. I get that. But don't tell me that the big bad wolf is afraid to have a feeling or two! I was worried that he would be too pig headed to allow himself to be happy, but it all ended up the way it should!
What an interesting story of Lana and her mission to find her power, who she is- her bloodline. When she rescues Destin, a rouge shifter, she doesn’t plan on what a force he would be, or just her fated mate pulling her in. This slow burn keeps you turning pages to find out what happens next. I love when a story has a strong FMC that takes me along while she finds out what she is capable of. Great story that kept my attention throughout. Thanks BookSirens for this arc. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The only reason I could not taste the story a five was the pacing of the book. For some reason I could not get into the book. Once I got halfway through did the story pick up again to where u didn’t want to put it down.
The expanding of the lore and Lana being much bigger than she could ever think. I enjoyed on how much character development there was but wish it would have kinda jumped in from the start. I can’t wait to see where they all lead to next.
This one had me glued from start. Turmoils galore with a lot of emotional baggage on both sides. The challenges Lana had to succeed were absolutely captivating, but together with Destiny, who came across as an unlikely match for her, the two had to overcome obstacles of note. Their outlook on pack life was totally different. The end left me salivating for more. I received an advanced review copy and leave this review voluntary Thank you BookSirens
I enjoyed the adventure! I enjoyed the journey if Lana and Destin. The push and pull between desire and resistance was intriguing. The shadow pack mystery kept me turning the pages. I liked how the characters were revealed and built up. I look forward to reading more of the series.

Lana has always been part of a pack. But she's also been very independent. Destin never wanted to be part of a pack. He's alone wolf. But the journey that they are facing makes them rethink the direction they thought they should be. Together they face challenges and reap Rewards. It's next installment of this series starts off slow but once The Adventure Starts you're drawn in. I look forward to the next book.
It was a good story going in but I feel like there could have been a better way to help the readers get to know the innerworkings of the characters' minds. They are well matched and they had so many things going on but it wasn't very clear in the storytelling. But either way, the flow was nice and smooth.
This is the best one yet. I love Lana and Destin. Learning more about the Shadow pack and the northern alphas was all I hoped it would be. This book is well written and kept me guessing about the relic and what it would accomplish to the last few chapters.

The series has an overall ARC running through and each book has its own romantic couple, but this one just left me wanting something. It's still an interesting concept hopefully the next book will get back on track.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Again good book. Not so many inconsistencies on this one but the last third of the book felt so out of left field. I like the idea of the events but feel like it was too thrown in instead of foreshadowed. All in all it’s a good book and I will read the next one. The tension between the fli and mli is AMAZING and the conflict because of their morals are chefs kiss!
Omg, that was a story full of adventure, magic and love! The Shadow Pack story progressed a lot in this book and it was really magical. Lana and Destin were lovely together and I might say that I needed a bit more of their story. It ended too soon.
Book three with a new romantic couple and more of this world of shifters. The books seem to go well together with great character arcs stretching throughout the series.
I love that although there is an overall story going on each book has some of the same characters but always a new couple that is followed.
The adventure continues as another relic is found. I really enjoy the chemistry between Lana and Destin and found the trials to be very exciting. The length is good and there is a nice balance of action and romance.
I like that this series is interconnected and taking place from different POVs from the first one and that each character is getting their own book/mate story. It's definitely one of my favorite series and I love this author. I can't wait to see what happens next :)
