Deadpool is dead, long live Deadpool! Wade has fallen, and his daughter Ellie has taken up the mantle. Taskmaster continues her mercenary training, but what she really wants is vengeance. And to get that, she’ll need Princess’ help. RATED PARENTAL ADVISORY.
Ok so we find out what happened to Deadpool in this issue kind of, he's not quite dead he's just a vegetable it seems, never really explained. Ellie is mad about it and is just taking it out on bad guys, we've seen this kind of rage in many comic characters but hers just feels a bit underwhelming because one she's not a very developed character and two because Deadpool and her never really had an established relationship so you can't really feel any loss there.
Also she's going around rage filled and is constantly reminded of a no kill rule, being in this she sticks a grenade in someone and it goes off, I can say that genuinely shouldn't be a thing. Taskmaster is change is still nice and the action is still fun, I just a bit more emotion in this to get a little more invested because right now it feels a little hollow.
It's difficult to leave a review for this one because I vaguely remember it. It was one of the comics at a library near a friend I was visiting and it just scratched that itch, I needed to read a comic. There wasn't anything memorable about it which is weird thinking back because one) I only read it last year and two) It's Deadpool. Deadpool is kinda one of those characters that gets in your face in each comic, if not page . It's just his personality.
