As love blossoms in Diamond-Land, chaos takes hold.
Will their love for each other amidst the chaos, and will the Zoo Boyz finally achieve victory?
Diamond-Land was everything I needed. I went through a plethora of feelings throughout the story but seeing Preach and Diamond grow up before my eyes was bittersweet. I feel so bad for Chevy, I don’t know what demons he is facing but I hope he tells the boys soon. Zu was pretty quiet in this one and Foe has me anxious!! Whew 😥 I won’t spoil orange light special but baby a time was had 🥰. Good job on this one!
I don’t know how to put this one in words. Expect the unexpected. Don’t assume anything and if you think you know, you don’t. Diamond’s story was remarkable. Watching and learning who Diamond was, was truly beautiful. Diamond’s story is one that takes you through every single emotion.
Diamond shows us every single emotion. He shows us sides to him we don’t expect. Diamond is honest and raw. He shows us sides to him we didn’t know. It’s like Granny took all the dark, gritty, and unclean parts of him and made him shine and sparkle. Granny was everything Diamond needed.
The fact that Yana stood her ground with Diamond but still let him be the man he is and was. Yes ma’am! Yana was the person everyone least expected but one thing she didn’t play about was Diamond. Once Yana entered into Diamond- Land it was forever. Yana brought out things in Diamond he didn’t think was possible. Again, like I said Diamond shows us sides to him we didn’t know and the unexpected is to be expected.
You will feel every emotion while reading this story and I think that’s what makes it even better. There will be unaliving, surprises, joy, happiness, and sadness. But the most important thing is you will get an amazing story. The Brotherhood is real. The brotherhood is strong and deep. It’s admirable! The love and bond between them is unmatched. They gonna show up for each other EVERY SINGLE TIME no matter what. Great story and great writing Tatiana.
Clearly I am not old enough to ride the rides at Diamond-Land because the way my eyebrows was touching my hair line during that honey orange scene. Whew! It is clear why Rayana would fight Mo over this man... to be honest Mo deserved an a** whoopin in the first place.
We aren't going to talk about the range of emotions this one brought out of me. Just know Granny got me and a thug tear may or may not have formed. Zoo Boys is found family to the tenth power.
These men!!!! Lord!!! Idk how I feel about this book overall or even Diamond, but imma keep going. But he definitely a freak and that I can get with lol
This one definitely could’ve been 5 stars but the grammar, errors, punctuation, and sometimes the dialogue not being broken up took 2 stars off. I absolutely love the characters, and although a little over the top the storyline. I just don’t like the way the author has the women making so much sacrifice. You work hard for a degree just to lose your job for a man you really don’t know for real. Rayana was doing too much, from going into that man’s files, to taking Diamond’s grandma out the hospital. Navi claimed she hated her career so i guess she really didn’t care if she got fired.
In the third book of the Zoo Boyz series, the readers are given Diamond’s backstory. While dealing with his grandmother’s illness, he is trying to shake an ex-lover as he pursues another. When a secret from his past is revealed, his life is changed forever.
Then there’s the Zoo!
Rayvana is facing the tough decision to continue to work the case against Chevy, and make her father happy or follow her heart and find her own happiness. Not only does she find out unsettling news about her father, but her sister is missing as well.
What’s a girl to do?
Finally, Chevy is still trying to get to his mother’s house, before it’s too late. Something is definitely going on with this one, and I don’t like it.
Another page turner by @authortatiana that needs to be added to your TBR.
Ma’am… I thought we were better than this, i thought we were friends.. ain’t no way you got me in this bed nervous and stressed out ONCE AGAIN! Whew let me take a nap so i can calm my nerves.. Y’all this is most definitely a must read. MY GIRL DID IT AGAIN!! She never disappoints
Love this series I love the men, the drama, the action, the spicy scenes this cliffhanger I’m a little bit upset, but I can’t wait. I low key my faves between FOE and CHEVY.Can’t wait for this next book it’s supposed to be a collab so I’m excited.
We only F with the Zoo!! Whew, each series keeps getting better and better!! My heart just broke for Diamond but I need Jesus to watch out for my man Foe and Chevy!!
I am loving this series! I had to get use to the multiple POVs but each one has kept me entertained & that ENDING!! Will definitely be sad when this series is over.
Had some issues with all 3 books that annoyed me personally. There was an extra part that was a bit much for me but other than those issues, I love Diamond and the book was good.
I ended up giving this book a 2.75/5. This is one of those times that I feel I should state that just because this book wasn't for me doesn't mean that it isn't for someone else. It just wasn't personally what I was looking for out of my reading experience. As mentioned in my review of book 2, I feel that this book could have benefited from being longer to round out storylines and character development.
I enjoy an insta-love/love at first sight trope just as much as anyone else but after the initial meeting I prefer my characters to show me why they feel that way and why it's continuing to grow. Other than a couple dates and sex... I didn't feel that. Preach found out in book 2 that he was dealing with an op from jump and was still like "I think I love her. Let me see where this goes." I know a lot of readers pride themselves on not caring about detail, and I can do that to an extent, but there was a lot missing (for me). There was no time spent, no romance, no connection for them to go as hard as they were going for people they literally just met.
Lola was still coming around...for what? She literally had no purpose. Girl, get a rose and a good bottle of wine!! Diamond kept entertaining Mo which is the reason she became the issue that she did. And that was another situation that had me questioning, "why?" She was literally an op in book 1. She should have gotten op treatment. She kept getting access to someone who claimed they cared nothing for her. She spent no amount of time with that man for her to act the way she did. If he had exercised a second of self control he could have removed his main problem.
And why were people ready to risk their lives, careers, and freedom for people they knew nothing about? The bad guy and his reasoning for targeting Chevy and the crew wasn't strong enough (for me). Again, this is just my explanation on why I gave the rating I gave. He was crooked and used to shake down people back in the day? Ok...but what does that have to do with the crew? Nobody was messing with anything he had going on currently. None of the crew even knew the connection that was given at 63% into the book. If anything, the person in question just painted a target on their own back.
Why was one of the characters on house arrest and so casually jiggling with their ankle monitor? Those are designed to go off when they are tampered with. And someone reading this will say, "well it's a fictional book." And that is completely valid but some of the realistic elements in life (in a book set in realism and not fantasy) that are sprinkled into a fictional book is what can draw many readers in. Me being one of those readers. And this is one of those things I thought was common knowledge. Especially if the character is related to two high ranking officers of the law.
Also, I personally found it a little odd that the sisters were supposed to be fairly close and the crew was supposed to be close and no one mentioned anyone's names to anyone. So, two people in this web went the entire book without knowing each other's names even though their people were going hot and heavy (everyone knew everyone’s names except these two). But these two characters knew the names of everyone else around them.
Personally I felt Malik and the BF storyline was very surface level. And Diamond's random storyline twist felt a bit out of place. And calling his grandmother's house Diamond Land and then later using it as a sexual thing had me side eyeing his character.
I think that this book in the series is where I will pause my reading experience with these characters. I picked it up because of the reviews and the upcoming collaboration. If the collaboration doesn't require that I go any further into this series I will likely stop here. If it does, I might pick up the rest of the books but unless I can rate them higher than my current rating I won't leave a review or rating. I don't want to interfere with the author's average. This isn't meant to be mean spirited but to say that I would be doing a disservice to the author to continue reviewing and rating this series if I'm not already invested in the reading experience the way I should be.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!!! Diamond is a fool and I knew it was going to be him that was going to have brought me to the Zoo for real for real. I will never look at oranges and honey the same again🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Smooth and lost but has so much to give and didn’t even know it. Like I have been saying from part 1 till now. What the hell is wrong with the damn ex girls in this series. Can we get Harvey to kill them all already like what the hell. Heck even Zaria and Navi. The daughter popping up out of no where to Mo and Simon still trying to be in the picture what the hell. I want to know how they all tie in. Preach getting what he longed for and getting his girl!!! Chevy is stressing me out get lola crazy as out by feeding her to Harvey. I can’t wait for his story because I think I’m in love. Back to business. Baby diamond is clearly the ladies man out of the group but he is undercover with his talents. The way he leans into Yana and chases after he says he won’t!!! She stood her ground and messed around folded like a damn pretzel and was ready for whatever that man had in store for her. The way the bonded but also tried to keep what ever they had going on personally out of the mix. They both were burned in the past and literally want to just be with one another. A lot took place and I know shit is getting real and I’m here for it.

When I say Diamond Land took me through EVERY emotion, I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE! 😭😂😍🔥 This book was raw, uncut, emotional, and exhilarating—honestly, the most intense one in the series so far. Tati, you did your thing!
I read the prologue late Sunday night, thinking I’d start the book Monday after work. Tell me why I started it last night and finished it LAST NIGHT! That’s how serious this book is. Diamond... Whew, that man is beautiful, witty, dominant, and just straight-up “Mr. Diamond if ya NASTY.” 👀 I wanna book my trip to Diamond-Land ASAP!
💎 Navi & Yana did what needed to be done to bring their sister home, even if it meant going against the grain. Sisters stick together, period.
🎢 Diamond & Yana… Lawd! No words except you better RIDE THAT ROLLERCOASTER and don’t get off! Because like Diamond said… he’s only gonna save you ONCE. 👏🏽🔥
💬 Zari stays talking her ish! 😂 She had me STRESSED, but when she’s around Chevy… whew, her 👀 tell that man EVERYTHING.
😈 Lonne… yeah, you got EXACTLY what was coming to you.
😭 Preach’s storyline... I broke when he made that trip and unlocked that truth. Still not okay. But I respect him for following his calling and his mission.
🙏 Passa (in my old lady voice) finally made peace, and I was PROUD.
👀 We didn’t hear too much from Zu, Foe & Harvey, but I know Hood Shiesty is coming, and I need to be mentally prepared.
💔 BIG MAMA! GRANNY, GRANNY... WHY?! I’m losing it! (In my Boosie voice 🎶)
✨ Constance came & disappeared before we could even process it.
📢 All I can say is: READ. THIS. BOOK. Tatiana Timmons gave us an emotional rollercoaster, unforgettable characters, and a story that STICKS WITH YOU. If you love urban fiction, romance, and gripping storylines, you need this in your life!
This was my favorite book so far! The authors relationship building skills really grew and shined with the story of Diamond and Rayana. This book took be threw the emotions and gave me some laughs too. This book had me longing for more of Chevy’s story. Excellent choice by the author to weave in everyones story while shifting focus and perspective. Diamond was so multifaceted and i loved to see it! I also love that he sings all the time. its so cute. I think the way his story with Rayana built made them fallling in love super believable. I do think the smut scenes were oddly placed in the story, Like girl, your sister is missing this aint the time to be getting busy with that man! But I do enjoy how the smut is written (with the exception of using food internally! eeeeyuck!) I liked how Preach grew in this story as well. I still think the pace of these books is a liiiiiittle too fast. people get killed so quickly and when the character is important I think it’s also important to drag out the scene when they die a little more, even if it is a bad guy. I also would have liked more than just Granny’s letter as background for Diamond. I want more of a history on all of them honestly, but with him not remembering his past to speak about it in first person, I think we needed a little more there. OMG - the tension building for Zaria and Chevy?! BABYYYYYYY thats how you build a story. I know once we get more from them it will be epic. I wish the author took that approach with Navi and Preach, but I think she was still learning and growing with every book, so she worked hard to be able to develop characters and relationships for this book. Super excited about the next book, i need to see about my nigga Foe!
Ok, yes, this one had me all in my feelings. With Chevy locked up and Granny G in the hospital, Diamond is spiraling—and honestly, who wouldn’t be? The pressure is mounting, and just when he needs to catch a break, here comes Monette with her crazy self, making everything ten times worse. If she doesn’t back off soon, things are about to get real messy for her.
But in the middle of all this chaos, Rayana enters the picture. She wasn’t on his radar, but she showed up at the exact moment he needed someone solid—someone soft in a world that’s been nothing but hard on him. While he once thought Monette could be an option, bringing her into Diamond-Land was clearly a mistake. Now she’s becoming more than he ever wanted to deal with, and if that wasn’t enough, there’s this random stranger popping up in his and Granny G’s lives. And let’s be real—she is suspect as hell.
Now, I won’t lie—Diamond had me frustrated with how he was handling Rayana. The back-and-forth? The mixed signals? I wanted her to walk away at times. But then I realized… he needed that kind of love. He needed someone who wasn’t going to run when things got rough, someone who saw him beyond the fame and the mess.
This book had me hooked from beginning to end. The drama, the tension, the realness of it all—I felt every single moment. If you’re not already locked into this series, what are you doing? Diamond-Land is that book. Read it!
Diamond was out there doing what he had to do to survive, until he decided to take the wrong person bike! However instead of being dealt with by the streets, he becomes one of them Zoo Boyz!
Let me say that this hear read had me drop a few tear for Diamond! Finding out that his Grammy was not his blood, to not trust Mo due to her motives and the issues with Chevy, Diamond was lost & very close to crashing out! Too much at one time was happening! With all that is happening around him to losing his Grammy, he was able to still have a part of the only woman/grammy he knew with her leaving him her house and leaving a note for him to understand his story
However, with all this going on, he was able to find love and receive the love that he truly deserves from Rayana! From the first time he laid eye on her, he was intrigued by her beauty! Who would have thought from helping Preach win over his woman Navi, that he would find the love of his life in her sister.
Overall, Diamond had to really go through something before he could understand who he was. But regardless of what he was going through or dealing with he had time to show and take his love to what he calls Diamond-Land. Babeee Diamond-Land is definitely a ride of a life time!
Tatiana Timmons has us all in shambles with the Zoo Boys series. I’m biting my nails in anticipation of each book drop.
This one really showed a side of Diamond I didn’t think we would see. I love Ms. Gloria. I love how she loved Diamond, her grandbaby who wasn’t really her grandbaby. We find out how Diamond-Land came to be.
The hardest part for me in this story is Chev and Preach having a heart to heart. The way I teared up at that and at Diamond losing Ms. Gloria. I really loved how much Rayana catered to her in her final days.
I CANT STAND THAT HEFFA MO! I was cutting for her in the beginning but I can’t rock with a delulu stalking female. Never ever.
I need to know that Chev makes it and I need to know that Harvey and Foe get together. Whew chile! This book is too much.
Those are my pros. My only con is I literally cringe every time there is a spicy scene because of the random italics “Rock, back and forth. Rock, up, then down.” Or it’s like, “up, down, hips side to side” Like WTH?! It’s so cringey and it makes me want to skip the spicy scenes altogether. Maybe that’s just the way the author pictures sex in her head, but it’s corny. 🤷🏾♀️
We are back in the Zoo… well, I never left, but this next installment into their wild world tied up a few loose ends while giving us more of what we love from this group of men and the women who are hanging on for the ride! Diamond is bae! I just needed to get that out there… he’s coming up close behind Heavy Chevy, but wheeeew, after a trip to Diamond Land, I’m all in! Tatiana crafted this complicated man perfectly. In previous books, we’ve seen him as the jokester, but now we get to see what's behind the mask and learn some home truths even I wasn’t expecting. Rayana is good for him. Honestly I didn’t really care for her in the previous book because of how she handled her sister, but I get it now, so we’re good sister-wives. She made Diamond stand behind his words and actions without using sex, which… he is all about and I'm all for it!😝 These two went through a lot in this book. We experienced their connection growing while also battling demons, hard truths, and reckless actions. I will say it in every review: I live for this brotherhood. It may take some hits, but its foundation is unbreakable. I can’t wait for the next book because, if you know, like I know, these characters still have a lot to face and battles to win!
Diamond and his granny. She was the most important person to him. He came across the Zoo boys in his younger years when he was trying to get money to help with the mortage.
Rayna is a nurse and the daughter of a retired cop and Zaria's sister. She meets Diamond through her sister.
Diamond wants her and pursues her. Their journey is not smooth because he has a past interest that keeps popping up.
Chevy is still stubborn and moving like he doesn't travel brotherhood. When meeting each new member, he is very accepting of them and shows he cares, but he refuses to be vulnerable with them.
Zu, Foe and Harvey are still dancing around each other.
Diamond learns a truth that put him in his feels as he deals with loss. Rayna learns some truth about her hero, that makes her question her emotional state.
Communication is key, but these men avoid it if it is not about racing or being physical. As much as they love each other, they keep each other in the dark about their most vulnerable issues.
