Fun Hospital Romance
A well written story, with great characters, steamy chemistry, romance, intrigue and a lovely HEA. A great story to read and one I would strongly recommend. There are some lovely twists and surprises in this along with plenty of humour. A hard to put down book which will keep you reading to the end.
Dr Jacob Hunt is a talented surgeon who first works with a new doctor during an emergency surgery following an accident. Ava, a new hire, is crushed when they lose the patient as it brings back memories of losing her father and Jacob tries to comfort her but makes the wrong move and she walks away embarrassed.
Jake can’t stop thinking about her, no matter what he does, though he doesn't even know her name. Ava had tried to be professional but the more she sees Jake round the hospital, the more she’s drawn to him. He has a reputation as a playboy though and she doesn’t want to be just another one of his women.
Jake has secrets and as Ava starts to learn about them she starts to see another side to the hot doctor and things start to heat up between them. But not everyone is happy about Jake settling with one woman and he has a past that he'd like to remain unspoken of.
A really well written story with great characters; I especially liked the assistants Catherine and Sarah, and Ava's family. Jake is determined to prove himself to Ava and it was lovely to see their histories and how they both got to where they met in the hospital.

He’s a self made billionaire a brilliant doctor and a womaniser but when Dr Jake Hunt meets Ava the new doctor in his hospital something in him changes and he wants her and her alone. Of course the path to true happiness is not smooth as Ava gives him a wide berth knowing his reputation with the ladies, slowly he chips away at her doubts and soon passion overtakes them. Unbeknownst to them they are more connected than they realise, mutual acquaintances and jealousy from so called friends cause them trouble. Will Jake change his ways and will Ava forgive his past? An interesting read with some heat and drama. Nice to get other characters povs too, rarely seen this in other books. I await for book 3.

Jake built a big hospital in a small town called Havenwood. He is famous not only for being the best heart surgeon but for being a womanizer.
Ava wants to learn with the best heart surgeon.
This was a great book. The thing was that at the beginning I thought it was going to be another book full of sex scenes but nothing else. Yes, it had hot scenes but there was a story behind it. It was well-written and had twists and turns, making the book worth reading.

Looking Past the Hurt
Jake has a reputation as a well-known surgeon and womanizer. However, when Ava, the new doctor, arrives, his ways begin to change. The obstacles between them are many, and navigating the difficulties was an emotional read. The plot was interesting, and the growth of these characters was a great addition.

He is a gifted heart surgeon and a ladies' man something Ava learned firsthand. Their interactions had feelings beginning to blossom but can Ava trust Jake to be serious about their relationship. This is a well written medical romance that drew me in and had me connecting with Ava and Dr. hunt.

Start reading this small-town romance book now. Everything about this book is soooo good that you can feel the characters and storyline come alive as you keep turning the pages. The cover is amazing and grabs your attention right away and the romance book sparks your imagination. A 5/5 star ⭐️ must read book.

This is a well written story with likable characters. The chemistry between them is great. I was hooked from the first page and couldn't put it down. That ending I was not expecting. It's an enjoyable read and I totally recommend reading it. Look forward to reading more from the author.
