I've read Flora Ferrari's books before but somehow this one feels very different to her usual works. Maybe it's because this is a full-length novel and not her usual novella. But my goodness, it surprised me. This book kinda has some depth to it.
Our hero in this one just got life-changing news after a doctor's visit and a chance encounter with a girl he once helped in the past made him contemplate his life all over. I knew with this being in a romance genre, we'd get our HEA, so don't worry guys. Nobody gonna die in this one. But it's nice to have a little angst, don't you think so?
As for the romance itself, it was pretty decent. The age gap made it even more enjoyable and gosh, our hero, is a pretty good guy himself. Pretty unrealistic dream man here but who cares, I enjoyed the hell out of it. All in all, pretty good filler read. Good enough for me.

November 10, 2024I loved My Silver Fox Savior. Lily is a social worker and Landon helped her and her mother years ago. Seeing him again brings back her crush on her hero. One look and Landon knows Lily is his but his future is months, not years. He should leave her alone. They are both working on the same case but Lily has to back off after threats. Landon will do anything to keep her safe but threats keep coming. Can she trust him with her heart? She’s scared but life is shirt and she knows she needs to go after what she wants. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

I have always enjoyed this author’s writing, and this book made it easy to see why. Landon Cross meant the world to Lily Brooks when she was a child. He took her mother’s case for free just to keep the two of them together. She never forgot what he did for her. So now, as a social worker, she meets up with him again, both of them older but she still has that crush on him. She has discovered a sinister plot by the cartel involving the use of children and seeks Landon’s help in dealing with it, but investigating will put her in danger. And her superiors do not like Landon. But when he tells her he just found out he has only a few months to live, will the two of them give in to their attraction? And will they be able to do anything to shut down the nefarious dealings going on involving the cartel once they start investigating Damon O’Connell, the patriarch of an Irish mob family, and his connection to The Bear bar that may be heavily involved? Will Landon become her hero once again? Or will they run out of time to do what needs to be done?

Landon has been dodging the doctor to arrange his Oncologist appointment. Because he felt that it would mean hearing more details about how the years of his life have suddenly squashed into months. He decided to take a case report by some parents in an apartment block in The Row who wants to sue a local gang for noise complaints. The gang has been trying to draw kids to their bar. Landon was really shaken by the news he received after his medical examination when he met Lily at the bar and through conversation realised they were connected through a situation from their pasts. Lily job led her to discover a sinister plot by the cartel that involved harming powerless individuals, so she sought help from Landon. Even though Landon’s job was white collar, he had another side to him that allowed him to help Lilly in the past and deal with the perpetrators in the present.
The relationship between Landon and Lily was intense from inception, but not everyone was happy with them being together and tried disrupt their budding romance. However, Landon and Lily were steadfast in their love for each other and even gave each other support during the dangerous battle. Luckily, everything Landon and Lily went through gave them the strength and determination to work towards the future happiness they deserved.
This action packed, age gap romance from Flora Ferrari may be different to her previous books, but I can say without a shadow of doubt, that it was just as fantastic. The storyline dealt with real life issues, giving us a chance to see the dark side and moral turpitude of humankind for the purposes of wealth. I went through a myriad of emotions whilst reading this story, but it a worthwhile experience.

Get comfortable you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned an age gap our two met years in advance never expecting to meet years later imagine that. Landon sexy as all get out Divorce Attorney one of the best know to many but finding out he is dying from an extremely rare form of cancer given months to live decides to take on pro bono case helping with the time he has left. Lily is sweet working as a Jr. Social Worker helping lost / abused children something that is she has personal experience with considering her background. She was out one evening at the bar investigating a case when she meets the attorney who helped her mom when she was twelve the one man who left a lasting impression made her want to other kids like her and quite as it is kept, she crushed on him never imagined they would be working the same case. Working together they learn her bosses do not like Landon but he is the one helping her dig into her case, they learn it is more danger then either of them thought, learning he has only a few months to live will they give into the magnetic pull between them, will they figure out what is going on with the children or will they run out of time, will they save they babies, and will she give him what he needs happiness, peace?

Not fair.
Fantastic. Lily is a Social Worker Intern and sometimes works a case by herself, which is very much against the rules. But, her boss that she’s supposed to be working with says that they can help more kids that way. As long as no one finds out. He gives her a case that has children in a bar supposedly playing video games. When she goes to talk to one of the mothers, who denies the allegations, she runs into Landon. He help her stay with her mom when she was younger and not her abusive father. Landon has just gotten life changing news from his doctor and is going back to do some pro bono work, again. Checking out noise complaints to get a bar shutdown he sees Lily and they start talking and realize their cases are the same and more involved than they knew. Landon has feelings for Lily and she is battling everything her mother has said about older men and younger women. When things get dangerous and the mob starts threatening her she is forced by her boss to drop the case. That doesn’t mean Landon will. He has nothing to lose. Working to right wrongs, child safety, kidnapping and more awaits you in this amazing book. Oh, yes, and love, of course.

My Silver Fox Savior has charm, suspense, and most certainly is an absolute page-turner of an age-gap romance. I LOVED reading My Silver Fox Savior which in my honest opinion, is perfectly written, well-balanced, and absolutely amazingly executed by Author Flora Ferrari. My Silver Fox Savior is the story of Landon and Lily who are amazingly developed characters. When we’re first introduced to Landon in the first chapter of the book to straight away, we find out that he has one of the worst things anyone could ever be diagnosed with, but I’m not going to reveal what that is. After we being introduced to Landon, we then meet Lily who is a wonderful person who works in the social services. Now this is all that I’m going to say about My Silver Fox Savior because I don’t want to give out major spoilers. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know both Landon and Lily as well as witnessing their amazing story unfolding throughout the book. I believe that Author Flora Ferrari is a sensational storyteller and an absolute remarkable writer who puts everything into the books she writes. My Silver Fox Savior is a book that I would absolutely recommend to anyone whose looking for a fun book to read.

Circumstances brought them together, but they each knew the other were there forever. “I never knew I was waiting for you”

My Silver Fox Savior is a steamy, instalove, age-gap, curvy girl gets her silver fox crush. Lily is a 22 year old social worker with a heart of gold. Landon is a 40 year old sexy lawyer who has found out he's dying. He helped Lily and her mom 10 years ago when she was 12 to get away from her abusive father, and she's never forgotten him. Now, she has her own case she is trying to handle with abused kids in a mob controlled area and is in danger. They end up meeting in a bar. Landon takes the case pro-bono to help her, and they have an intense connection. Can they help each other? These two really had great chemistry, even with dealing with some heavy issues. The ending was happy after the drama. This was different than some of Flora's other books, but I absolutely loved it. It was quite an emotional roller-coaster ride.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Landon seems to have closed himself off from the world and only lives to work as a high-profile divorce attorney. A terminal diagnosis after a routine check-up turns his world upside down but opens it up in another way. Landon takes a pro bono case like he used to when he meets Lily.
Lily and Landon met before when he saved her and her mother from an abusive father. There is this instant attraction and they fall deeper as they spend more time together. The characters in this story bring out real life situations up close and have you caught up in them. There is a lawyer who is considered dangerous and questionable to some and a Social Worker who believes in him because of the connections she has to him early on in her life. They reconnect during work and a case she is working on has placed her in danger and to top things off Landon tells Lily that he is living on borrowed time. Will their relationship bring them the closure they're looking for.

Flora Ferrari has given us another great story. If you like age gap stories then this is definitely a must read. We follow Landon and Lily years ago when she was young he came to her and her mother's aid. Now years later they meet again and Landon is still a lawyer and Lily is now a social worker. It doesn't take long before their feelings for each other are expressed. It is a wonderful age gap story where sparks fly. A real must read, you are glued to your book from the beginning.

I will say that this book definitely has an age gap which should have been understood just from reading the description. It's a little bit more than some other books that I have read by her but it still works in a way. The fact that she's grown stops it for being creepy and the fact that they didn't have any contact after that initial meeting as a child works. I did enjoy the book but then again I do feel like this author has an incredible way of spinning a story.

Tropes: age gap, lawyer, social worker, good samaritan, and innocent FMC. Lily owes Landon for her getting into social work. 10 years ago he did a pro bono job so she could stay with her mother. Landon just received some traumatic news which changes his on look on life. This story had some drama and strong characters. Enjoyable read which kept me intrigued.

As always, Flora Ferrari's new book was exciting, tense, and made me feel really good by the end of it. The C-word was a bit triggering and anxiety wrecking for me, but I trust Flora Ferrari, so I knew everything would be all right. I did like Lily, but as I've been reading FF's previous books, I just felt like Lily's personality could be stronger in this book.

Wowsa this book is a fast insta love story that will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. Landon gets a diagnosis from his dr and decides to do probono work but when he sees lily can he keep it Profesional? Can he save her from the mafia? Yes, this book is incredibly intense and spicy. I was hooked from the first chapter to the end. Lily is a social worker trying to help several children in an area the mob controls. Landon is a lawyer who helped Lily and her mother years before to get away from her violent dad. This book has a great plot and will pull you in quickly—an excellent book with a perfect HEA.

This is sweet, sexy and steamy age gap romance that is about Landon and Lily. Lily has looked up to Landon since she was twelve when he helped her mom, taking her case pro-bono. Now ten years later she sees him again. He sees a beautiful women and she explains who she is. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. So good too! The story develops nicely with some action, mafia, danger, drama and much more.
