What do you do when an elf is murdered and Santa is the prime suspect?
Cammie has two goals, enjoy the holiday season despite her family and give back to the town as much as possible. But when an elf is found murdered and Santa is the suspect, Cammie is thrust into the middle of an investigation where everyone has a motive and a child’s future depends on what she can uncover.
Not to mention…
The music box debacle. Everything is fine until a gentlemanly ghost shows up and starts following Cammie around, intent on her antique music box. Soon Cammie discovers that the box holds secrets she must search out before it’s too late. Christmas is Cammie’s favorite holiday, but between the surprising realizations the antique music box brings, a murder with too many suspects, and her pushy family, can she possibly set things right and find peace this holiday season?
If you like small town mystery, wholehearted friendship, and ghosts, you’ll love this cozy, midlife paranormal murder mystery series.
Misty is the intrepid investigator of murders and paranormal mysteries, a lover of hot cider on snowy days and stories where the good guys (and gals!) always win. Misty exists only on paper. She is the pseudonym of a woman whose favorite part of the day is after work when she can sit down and craft mysteries she hopes you will love.
Cammie is at it again, pulling as Cammie, as Madeline would say. She stumbled into another murder. This pretty close to being right in front of her. Of course things get a bit crazy from here for the historical society members after that. Plus we have a ghost who is haunting a carved box. At least everyone is used to seeing ghosts after last time!
Found a new series to read. Really enjoyed this story and plan on reading all of them. A group of women who are friends and see ghosts while solving murders. Who could ask for anything more? A great read on cold winters days.
