A peculiar package and her boss’s sudden disappearance landed Andi in the boardroom, face-to-face with Prince Laith Al Sintra, CEO with a crown. Fifteen minutes of obnoxious interrogation later, Andi was ready to strangle him—or possibly kiss him.
Laith, meanwhile, couldn’t shake the image of this “angelic cash flow guru” from his mind, nor could he resist her sharp tongue or brilliant mind. When creepy dioramas of Andi start showing up, Laith goes into full-blown protective mode. Can he figure out who's behind it before things get dark, or will their steamy sparks fizzle out in the chaos?

Wow. Just wow! I loved this book so much! I think it might be my favorite of the series so far. This is book 6 of the series and the second book of the second generation of Al-Sintras. It is is an office romance between Andi McCormick, "Andi-Andrea" as Laith calls her occasionally, and Prince Laith Al-Sintra, who is her boss and secretly royalty. He doesn't try to keep his royalty secret, she just doesn't know who he is, which is one of the reasons he falls so hard for her. The personal struggle Andi goes through over falling for her boss is expected but very well done. However, what was surprising and also very well done is the contents of the threatening boxes that she receives as well as the discrimination that she comes up against from Laith's personal assistant. There were times I wanted to smack her upside the head because, in trying to protect Laith, she does the exact opposite of what I thought was the smart move, but at the same time it was understandable because of her feelings for him. The person behind the boxes was easy for me to guess, but that may be because I know this author so well that I think I know how her mind works at this point! The contents of the boxes were very disturbing and the threat implied by the contents was even worse. This is probably the darkest content I've ever read from Elizabeth Lennox. Luckily, the good guys obviously win, but thinking about the fallout from this one person's twisted actions is heartbreaking. I had fun reading about and imagining what I imagine is going on simultaneously between Rafi and Carys, the MMC and FMC of the next book, and now I can't wait for it! Trigger warnings include viølence and s*xual viølence - not on the page but talked about explicitly, implied and explicit threats, discrimination in the workplace, dr*g ab*se - spoken about but not on the page, and an obviously severely traumatized side character. If these things are triggering for you, please don't read this book; no book is worth your mental health. If you enjoy contemporary, workplace, employee/boss, secret royalty, contemporary romance with a touch of danger, then this book is for you! However, with it being part of a series, I highly recommend you start at book 1, "Hiding in the Sheik's Arms", as previous books' characters make appearances and previous books' events are referenced. I love the fact that we are getting to follow two full generations of Al-Sintras as they find love and build their families!
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a fair, and honest, review!
5 +++STARS Oh sooooo romantic! Andrea “Andi” is a sweet beauty. She is the financial analyst for a company that has just been acquired by a new owner. The owner, Laith Al-Sintra, is very impressed with Andi's knowledge and her skill in breaking down and analyzing the figures. Laith is very impressed with everything about Andi. The old company had some idiots running it into the ground, but no longer. Laith has assembled a small team to conduct a worldwide on-site review of every aspect of each plant's operation. He needs to “fix” this company. Andi is one of the team, and she proves invaluable and irresistible. I love the growing friendship that they share, but eventually, the closeness becomes too much, and Laith and Andi erupt in passion. She has no idea who he is, that he is a royal, and to him, that is incredibly attractive. They make a beautiful couple. Tension is spiking because Andi now has a sadistic stalker threatening her. My favorite part of this story is the heartwarming friendship Andi and Laith forge. Then would be the gentle lovemaking he showers her with. OH, SO romantic! I also love the Al-Sintra family and how they are so close and there for each other. I will definitely be rereading this story. Linda
Her Prince in Disguise is the next of the Al-Sintra family series. Laith Al-Sintra’s and his brother have realized that Sunburst the company they bought several years ago has become lax. Andrea (Andi) McCormick is a financial analyst working for them, Andi’s boss was in an accident the morning of an important meeting, his boss has Andi do a big presentation to Laith. When Andi meets Laith she is frustrated with him thinking he is rude and frustrating that is until he takes her aside and offers her a job to help save the company. She agrees and the team they form begin to travel to the various companies finding discrepancies. Before Andi left the country she had received a very strange diorama in the mail at work. Not sure what was going on she dismissed it thinking it was sent to the wrong person. Unfortunately, she receives another one while traveling and now Laith is involved and wants to find the perpetrator. Things really heat up when more boxes appear and real threats come in as they try to find out who is threatening Andi and now Laith. The best part is when Andi finds out that Laith is a Prince she had no idea of his true identity and that just adds to the story!

This is not your typical love at first sight romance book. Andrea (Andi) McCormick is unexpectedly called upon to attend an exclusive board meeting to give an in-depth financial presentation for some hotshot CEO. He spends an inordinate amount of time interrogating Andi which irritates her. She admits to herself that he is gorgeous, but he makes her uneasy.
The CEO, who is actually Prince Lath Al-Sintra of Lativa, on the other hand, is very impressed with Andi’s poise and intelligence. He invites her to become part of his team that will investigate things that are not adding up in his company.
As they get to know each other and work together Laith recognizes that Andi is scared of something. When he learns she is receiving threatening, anonymous diorama boxes Laith is determined to protect her and find the source of the threat against her. This is another engaging story by one of my very favorite authors. Readers won’t be disappointed.
Laith and his twin decide to take more of an interest in their company. Laith meets Andi at a board meeting and is impressed by her skills and taken by her beauty, that he invites her to join his task force to investigate other offices around the world. As the team works, they get closer, eventually ending up in bed together. Andi runs, fearing it's only a fling. Someone is stalking Andi and is not happy with her new relationship. What started as sending her mysterious packages escalates, and Laith goes into protective mode to protect the woman he wants.
I enjoyed the growing relationship between Laith and Andi, and the intimate scenes are steamy. Laith truly cares for Andi and shows it in his actions. I also enjoyed how the stalker was not obvious. Please note, this book deals with a sadistic stalker who could be triggering to some readers if caught unaware.
Andi is a finance analyst at Raife Industries and is very good at her job, but prefer to behind the screen . Her CFO brought her into the limelight because her boss had an car accident and she wanted her to explain the financial information on the monthly review meeting to the company owner, Mr. ith LaAl-Sintra, Royal Prince of Lativa and the hidden attraction between the two, but not in a good way (smile). Laith found that Andi was beauty, challenge and very smart because the company that was once thriving was now plummeted and he needs a very competent person to find out what is going on and the person is Andi. In the meantime, Andi started to received s*xy exotic package with no ideal who is targeting her. Laith find out there are several packaging of this nature and is furious and with his security they catch the person (who is very sick by the way) and this is when Andi finds out that Laith is a prince. This was a very good book and can't wait to read the next in the series.
This is the 6th book in the series and I am very disappointed with the portrayal of the h. The plot was good but the h was portrayed as if she would lose her brain cells at the sight of the H. She is a very intelligent, smart woman but becomes stupid when he comes around. I like my heroine to be stronger and make the man work for her affection. Also, keeping the boxes a secret was crazy, he had bodyguards, her thought process was awful. This author usually writes a better story. I wasn’t feeling this one. The epilogue was awful, I wanted more interaction with his family.
When Andi first sees Laith, she feels the unexpected attraction but knows she must resist as he is her new boss. Laith is attracted to Andi but she is his employee, off-limits. However, as they work closely together to save the company, sparks fly. This is a great story: Andi is a strong, determined to succeed woman, but someone is stalking her. Laith goes into protective mode, but Andi is anything but grateful. The evil stalking her is revealed at the end, I did not see that person as a possibility at all. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
This book felt a little different than the normal Elizabeth tales. While it was romantic and steamy, it truly gave me romantic mystery vibes". There is a stalker and Andi has no clue what's going or who could be after her. Prince Laith has decided that he and his power as Prince will keep her safe along with his family and friends.
The story was somewhat predictable, but the real interest is the stalker and who it is and the background on what he was sending and why. That was where the real interest was for me.
I love the 2nd generation stories and this one was a good one.
I started this book and had trouble putting it down. I feel it’s that good. It was interesting reading about the children of Lativa that are adults now. This story focuses on Laith, one of the twins, who falls for Andi, an employee of his. I was glad Andi was written as a strong individual but did have her weaknesses. There was more mystery in this story and it was well written. I completely enjoyed it! This is an honest review even though I received it as an arc.
I loved this story do much, not only because it is fascinating, romantic and white -hot, but because it reminded me of a story written by E. Lennox a very long time ago, one of my top favourites and the first I've ever read by her. Of course, this story is more complicated, action-packed and with lots of mystery.
outstanding read, frustrating heroine & one stubborn lady
Andi sucked in a shaky breath as a thrill raced over her skin, a sharp contrast to the warmth that had enveloped her moments before. She instinctively wanted to close the distance between them again, to reach for the heat she'd just lost—and the realization horrified her.
Andie & Laith's story is very sweet, keeps you in your toes throughout the whole book! The mystery side of it is filled with suspense, dread, shock at finding out the culprit as I never expected it!! In short it's definitely worth reading and looking forward to the next one!!
Second generation standalone. What a great read! This is a second generation story, and it’s delightful. Andi and Laith weren’t an insta love, they built up their relationship, Laith realized he’d found his lady love and protected her (stalker). Such an engaging read. Loved it. 💜
This story balances romance and thriller better than most books even try to. The chemistry is undeniable, but the creepy undertone raises the tension to another level. I loved that Andi isn’t reduced to a damsel, she’s the brainpower in the room, and the plot respects that.
Andi and Laith's story was enjoyable to read. It is always satisfying to see the next generation of prior stories fall in love and find their HEA. You will not be disappointed with this book.
Laith is very impressed with Andi and includes her in the core team that is tasked with reviewing every aspect of each plant's operation. Laith is attracted to Andi but is not acting upon it since she works for him. But when creepy dioramas start showing up for Andi, Laith goes into full protective mode and ignoring the attraction gets harder and harder. I enjoyed the relationship development between Laith and Andi. Their attraction as is with all Elizabeth Lennox books was off the charts hot. The suspense was well developed and unpredictable enough to keep me guessing.
