After breaking up with her immature ex, Zenelle was supposed to find peace on a solo trip to Japan. But before she even makes it to the airport, she’s snatched up and wakes up trapped in a creepy, old mansion-turned-club called Haunt. The place is run by a powerful figure who kidnaps women to keep them “fresh” for his twisted Halloween parties, where rich elites indulge in whatever they want.
It doesn’t take long for Zenelle’s rebellious spirit to get her into trouble, especially with the mansion’s self-appointed “bottom bitch,” who’s been there for years and keeps all the other women in line. Then there’s Hiroshi—the mean, brooding, and handsome Japanese ghost bound to the mansion by his own curse. Zenelle is the only one who can see him, and he might just be her only way out.
With Halloween fast approaching, Zenelle has one shot to break free before she’s “replaced.” She’ll need every ounce of strength to outwit her captors, survive the twisted guests, and decide if her connection with Hiroshi is something worth holding onto.
Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.
Haunted Love by Jade Jones was a great and interesting story. It is a different story from Jade Jones’s books. Jade Jones does a great job. It’s well-written and a powerful story.
Zenelle wants to get away from the drama, but she is kidnapped by a random dude. She was lost and confused about where she was at. Hiroshi was a supernatural creature. Grimm was controlling, deceiving and manipulating people. Gemini's head wasn't right at the time, but she was attached to Grimm's spell. I'm happy for Hiroshi to save Zenelle and other women's lives from Club Haunt. Alec and Zenelle's best friend are cold-hearted people.

So many unexpected twists and turns. If you've read the synopsis and decided to pass on this s book, you're missing out. This was romance (paranormal or is it?), drama, betrayal, violence and redemption. Yep, a while back drama.
Each chapter had me locked in. I needed to know what was going to happen next. Was the bottom B*tch going to remain in that position? Was Hiroshi ever going to break the curse? Who was Grimm and what was his plan for Zanelle?
Not too much sex, just a hint of violence but it has a whole lot of drama. Best read this month.
I was so excited to read this book - a paranormal romance with a ambw couple!! This book is a short read & it’s very fast paced. i loved Zenelle & Hiroshi so much. i really wish that there was more information about Hiroshi’s background. i also would’ve loved to see some of the scenes played out a bit more as well. but overall i liked the concept of this book, I liked the writing, I liked the characters in this book - well the main ones anyways🤭 can’t wait to read more books by Jade Jones.🫶🏽
This story will have to really thinking about the supernatural. To be able to communicate, and discover certain in order to secure your future, it's an enjoyable read just sad that her best friend betrayed her in the worse possible way but in the end the curse was broken and they both found happiness.
If you’re not reading a Jade Jones book you are missing out! This book was fast and suspensful. This story was the perfect example of “don't trust no one” and “ Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” I will say there is an unexpected happy ever after.
Not my favorite by Jade. While the story line had so much potential, i feel like it was rushed especially towards the end. If this is your first read by Jade, and you’re not a fan, please don’t let this book deter you. She is an amazing writer and her other books are drool worthy and loaded.
