#1 Bestseller in Action & Adventure Romance Fiction! #1 in War Fiction!

Zane was done with fate. The Fates aren’t done with Zane.

Ezekiel Zane’s once-quiet retirement has rapidly become very complicated. His long-dead wife has returned as a banshee, and a manic-pixie goblin girl is working overtime to turn his life upside down. To make matters worse, a half-slime federal agent wants in on the action.

The Fates have other ideas.

When the shadowy Office of Eldritch Affairs recruits Zane and his women to investigate a surge of supernatural activity and a rampage of rogue shifters, he must confront a looming threat that challenges even his formidable resources. To defeat it, Zane must assemble a new band of wily sorcerers, old friends, and sword-swinging celestials.

Beset by bloodthirsty mutants and unexpected betrayals, the grizzled veteran must finally awaken all his old abilities, and potentially surrender what little peace remains in his life.

Dark City Girls 2 is an urban fantasy set in the Demon Hunter/Fateforged universe.

Excellent Story

Okay book 2 was a fast paced rollercoaster of action and lots of spice. I'm enjoying this entire world that blends together multiple worlds in several series. It really keeps thing interesting. I first read about Mia in Trailer Park series now I her back story. Fun times, bring on Book 3!!!

Inconsistent

So the story itself is interesting, but some of the glaring inconsistencies are starting to ruin it. One major one in this book was him damaging the stolen tattoos and they stop working, but he gets cut all to hell all the time, which would damage his tats, but they work perfectly fine all the time.

Also on that note, the tattoo magic is fairly meh. Compared to what others seem to be doing, his magic is lackluster and really unreliable. Massive cooldowns for limited uses and the majority of his just seem to turn him into the hulk. He’s gotten extremely one dimensional and boring.

Light entry in trilogy

Alternate universe, magic, aether, fantasy races, OP MC, harem adult situations

Having dealt with his former employer in the first book, another challenge arises that somehow also forces Zane to add member to his household, with yet another wanting to join. Meanwhile, the other OP heroes share info and decide Zane might need to come out of retirement. Excellent editing. Was surprised when they took time to indulge in bedroom stuff when Matty was abducted, but that's what make this a light fantasy. Book 3?

This story felt long

The story was entertaining and covered a lot of ground but the Lit Role play stuff always adds stuff that feels necessary to slog through. Again very time consuming. Some fairly hot sex but towards the end almost too much with all the magical stuff mixed in. Having read the bikini daze series it was fun having those characters pop up in a limited way. Will there be a limited get together of characters at cocktail party?

It’s fine, the parts that i found interesting in the first are starting the feel dry. It felt longer than it says, probably because it took longer for me to read than usual. It’s getting a bit slower somehow, still not sure how I feel about the multiverse stuff, it’s not ignorable, you need to read the other series about these characters, the author makes very transparent nods to things that make no sense without the context.

Another great series!!!

This series has everything and more you could possibly want out of an exceptionally well written fantasy adventure story!!! The fantastic world building and character development we have all come to expect from this author is ramped up to an even higher level in this series!!! I can't wait to see what comes next!!!

Just as good as the first!

It was worth the wait. The book was amazing, and I love all the call outs from Michael's other books (what the heck is going to happen to Ethan in the next Bikini book?!?!). I'm really excited for the next one and hope I don't have to wait to long!

Had too many extended sex scenes to clear my 5-star barrier. Good overall, but just didn't seem extraordinary to me. I'll read 3 when it comes out, and hopefully the story balance/pacing will be better.

Awesome and thrilling

The continued development, the women and the link now formed more clearly with Jimmy Kaplan in the Bikini series is exciting. Definitely excited for more in this series!

When you're great at something taking a break is hard, sooner or later you get pulled back, but that might be what the world needs

Really really good addition. I hope the author gives Zane some kids. I do like how he is trying to help Matthew. He really needs it.
