He graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) much to his surprise and spent ten years on active duty in the United States Army. He deployed on two combat tours to Iraq and received the Combat Action Badge, Bronze Star and Presidential Unit Citation.

The Weapon
This book series was so well written and it kept me on edge to not put it down until I finished it. The ending though sad was also beautiful and I felt myself relieved that Kaddish bought his Men home. I am a Vet and know exactly how he felt.

Good series sort of a prequel to the Ember Wars. Next on my list to read is that series. There were some typos that the editor should have caught but well written for the most part. Enjoyable for military sci fi.
