I am crazy in love with this new release from Laura Pavlov! It’s hands down my favorite in the Rosewood River series so far! Bridger and Emilia completely stole my heart, and I was fully obsessed with their fiery enemies-to-lovers romance.
If you’ve read the earlier books, then you already know that Bridger Chadwick cannot stand Emilia Taylor; mostly because he’s convinced she’s behind the infamous “Taylor Tea,” the gossip article in their local paper that keeps exposing secrets about his family. He’s protective to a fault and a bit of a control freak, so when Emilia sets the record straight, he’s not exactly quick to apologize. Talk about a stubborn man!
Their journey to each other was a slow burn in the best possible way, with so much tension, chemistry, and anticipation. And wow, was it worth the wait. Their connection felt authentic, the banter was sharp and fun, and the romance was so heartfelt.
As always, one of my favorite aspects of Pavlov’s writing is the strong sense of family. Bridger may seem like a total grump, but his soft side shines through in his moments with his niece, nephew, and mom, and eventually, with Emilia too. And Emilia? I adored her. She’s sweet, determined, and quietly fierce. Watching her chase her dreams and stand her ground was so satisfying.
This book had everything I love in a small-town romance: incredible chemistry, lovable characters, and my favorite tropes, grumpy/sunshine and enemies-to-lovers. I already can't wait for the next installment in the series, but honestly, it’s going to be hard for any couple to top these two!

Another absolute banger from Laura Pavlov. I just love this series! It's like wrapping up in a blanket on a fall day and cozying up to a fire with a cup of hot chocolate. I love all the characters and the town so much.

A hate to love billionaire romance!? Yes, please! I loved how this one started out with them hating each other, the hero realizing he was actually wrong about the heroine, so he hires her to decorate his home. And then he just takes her to France to look at a piece she thinks would be perfect for his home!? Swoon. This wast just such a good romance in this series, and I love this cast of character and friends so much! I definitely recommend this entire series if you haven't had the chance to pick it up yet!

4.5 stars! Crazy in Love is book 4 in the Rosewood River series and I adored this one. This is a small town, grumpy x sunshine, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance.
I loved Emilia and Bridger! I’ve been waiting to get to their story throughout the series and this was so much fun. He has thought she’s had it out for him (and his family) for yearssss. He’s been convinced that she’s behind the anonymous gossip column in the local paper that loves to gossip about his family, no matter how many times she’s said she isn’t. This book was so fun seeing all of that come to a head! And then seeing him hire her for a new business venture.
This book had more of what I love that Laura does, small town and an emotional pull as well, from Bridger’s past (loss of his mom during childbirth) and Emilia’s complicated relationship with her mother. I loved seeing Bridger and Emilia be there for one another, him wanting more, the jet-setting to Paris, his brother’s text group, the found family!

After seeing glimpses of Bridger and Emilia in the previous book I knew they would had quite a journey and it was def a wild ride! 😅 I adored Emilia right away—her growth and backbone made me root for her so hard—but Bridger tested my patience at first. He was grumpy, mean, and stubborn, but once those layers started peeling back, I understood him more and their sizzling chemistry totally clicked. The small town vibes, hilarious family group chat, and just the right dose of spice made this such a fun read. Even though it’s the 4th in the series, it works perfectly as a standalone, and it had me laughing, swooning, and fanning myself all at once. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I saw this one around Instagram where everyone seemed to be talking about this book like it was the BEST book this author has ever written. If this is her best book....I will be happy to never read her again lol Look no offense to the author or those that enjoy her books. But this author is apparently not for me. I don't like how her heroines are written, she writes stories that make the heroes look like the bad guys even though they really aren't and the heroines angels even though they treat others in a demeaning way but is covered up by sugary sweetness to make up for it. That was basically this book. And when the hero makes an effort to apologize in his own way while also doing a act of service....she basically spits in his face over it. And the writing is very mediocre. It just doesn't do anything for me. If it was super addictive or there were lots of swoons....it might make the negative aspects worth it but it doesn't deliver and I have too many authors and books on my TBR to invest in a author that isn't worth it to me and is highly overrated.

I was looking forward to these two, and I loved them both! Haha and his “apologies” were hilarious! I will say that 3rd act break up was annoying.
Emilia’s mom was the worst and she got off too easy at the end.
I can’t wait until the next addition to this series!

Book #4 in the Rosewood River series, this is a fun, laugh-out-loud funny, beautifully heartfelt grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-lovers romance that had me captivated from start to finish. It’s my favourite of the series so far, and I loved everything about this book!
Bridger is the eldest of the Chadwick boys. He’s a billionaire businessman who cares deeply for his family and is fiercely protective, so he’s started a bit of a war with local florist, Emilia, believing that she is behind the local gossip column that keeps writing about his family. She’s not, and when she proves her innocence to the man who is ruining her life, his refusal to apologise infuriates her even more. It’s a hilarious battle that had me laughing out loud as Bridger splashes his cash around in an attempt to make amends. It’s not until he gives Emilia the only thing she wants - an apology – that their longstanding animosity comes to an end, and they start to see each other for who they really are, and attraction quickly follows.
OMG, every moment of build up is so freaking good! The teasing, the banter, the flirting, the chemistry, it’s all fantastic, and when they finally give into it – holy hotness! Their passion for each other is wild, but it’s the emotion of it all that had me swooning. There is something about seeing the broody bachelor fall so hard, and watching Bridger drop his guard and finally give into his feelings was just gorgeous.
There are some ups and downs along the way, and they have some things to figure out, but it’s such a gorgeous journey for them, and I loved every moment of watching these two figure themselves out and find their happy ending.
The characters from previous books appear, and Bridger’s brothers and cousins are all up in his business every step of the way, and OMG I love them! The text chats are priceless, and I love this group so much.
This is such a great read, and I can’t wait to continue on with the series.

First off thank you to Valentine PR and Laura Pavlov for blessing me with another arc for this series. My obsession for Pavlov and her small town romances knows no bounds and I will volunteer as tribute to read every single thing she writes.
Now, I knew I was going to absolutely devour Bridger’s book from the start of this series because come onnnn, we all know the broody men make the best MMCs and it’s like a guarantee they’re going to be real filthy.
But I’m getting ahead of myself here. While each book is a standalone in the Rosewood River series, I highly recommend reading in order because the connections between these characters are some of the best I’ve ever read. Found family, true friends, just that amazing small town vibe where everybody looks out for each other.
So, reading the series you’ll know that Bridger has had it out for Emilia Taylor for years. He’s convinced that she’s the author of the Taylor Tea, a gossip column in the towns newspaper that’s always dragging his family. Thing is, Emilia has become friends with all of his brothers’ women and she’s proven herself to not be the writer. Bridger refuses to believe this though, thus causing an epic feud between the two of them. When Emilia finally provides proof, Bridger sends her gifts as an apology. But her forgiveness can’t be bought, all she wants is two little words, ones that Bridger has only ever said to one person in his life. Emilia isn’t just any person though and soon Bridger is questioning everything he’s stood for, and the tension between the two of them is about to explode.
I don’t even really have words for the way this book made me feel. Hands down my favourite of the series so far because both our main characters were absolute perfection. Between Emilia standing up for herself and pursuing her passions, and Bridger breaking that hard shell and learning some hard truths, I don’t know who I loved more.
And Bridger in the bedroom??? Don’t even get me started. All the ALC readers reviews have me wanting that audio asap because holy hotness. Something about a broody man being down bad for one lady just hits everytime.
I can honestly say I’m not even mad about the little hiccups along the way because let’s face it, Bridger is like many men who struggle with admitting feelings and mental health issues. The fact that he was willing to take the steps to fix it and grovel for his woman??? That’s some hot stuff right there.
Overall, no negative notes. I loved every second of it and I never want this series to end. Looking forward to Axel’s story because I feel like we haven’t seen much of him!

Oh I had a feeling that Bridger and Emilia would be my favourite🙈
Emilia was a great female lead. She was kind, hard-working and she had a backbone. She went after what she wanted and she stood up for herself even when Bridger was being completely rude to her. As for Bridger, I think he needed to grovel more for Emilia’s forgiveness because he really treated her horribly. Besides that, I thought he was decent male lead.
The romance was cute, but I would have liked for the hate phase to have lasted longer. It was really only there for the first 25% of the book, but it honestly didn’t bother me too much because I just loved the dynamic between Bridger and Emilia. Their relationship moved rather fast, but I feel like that’s always the case with Laura Pavlov books so it didn’t surprise me.
All in all, this was a short and quick read and I enjoyed it.

He’s a grumpy billionaire who doesn’t like to be proven wrong - but, when Emilia finds a way to prove her innocence he realises he has some making up to do.
I love everything about these two. Bridger and Emilia started off as enemies when he was so mean and stubborn to her - even when he was proven wrong. He tested my patience at the beginning until he started opening up more. They have so many layers I enjoyed seeing more of them rather than the masks they hide behind.

Bridger and EMELIA had the absolute best tension. Bridger is the grumpiest, more stubborn MMC and I was waiting for the moment that man had to eat his words and apologize for his actions towards EMelia and goodness it was worth it. The vibes and chemistry between them had me falling in love from the moment these two started arguing in the bar.
Ans then watching as things changed between them… my heart… it was a puddle.
I lived this book… the toilet seat (iykyk) and all the banter and input from the family. The lighthearted parts were hilarious and as Bridger and EMelia opened up about their struggles the emotional parts also hit just right.
I never want to leave this town and I absolutely want to be invited to Sunday dinner!

This was a quick and sometimes-frustrating read. My notes while reading:
- Bridger was an asshat and why did it take 30% of the story for him to say sorry?
- The kids do not speak like kids!!
- Emilia's mom is one proper bitch. Why does she hate her daughter?? The whole parental unit is the worst, bc why didn't her father ever stand up to the mom??
- Oh my God and why did we have to hear about this author they're obsessed with like 4 times? When it adds nothing to the story?
- Also, Bridger is your typical commitment-phobe male. And ofc magically turns from asshole to human when he falls in love. But yay for therapy!
- And no, he did not grovel?? It was just one conversation.
Safe to say I did not love this one.

Bridger Chadwick might be a grumpy, stubborn menace — but he’s also the ultimate book boyfriend, and I’d let him brood in my direction any day.
Laura Pavlov’s latest Rosewood River book is easily my favourite of the series! 😍
Bridger and Emilia’s fiery dislike-to-lovers romance completely stole my heart. Bridger, the overprotective Chadwick brother, is convinced Emilia is behind the local gossip column exposing his family — and he’s not quick to forgive. Watching his walls slowly come down was so satisfying.
Their romance brought everything: sharp banter, sizzling chemistry, and heartfelt moments. Bridger’s growth felt messy but real, and I loved seeing him put in the work (therapy included!). Emilia was just as incredible — sweet, fierce, and determined to chase her dreams and stand her ground.
This story delivered all my favorite small-town romance moments: grumpy/sunshine banter, strong family bonds, and a love story that made me giggle, swoon, and feel. 🤩
The next book better come with a warning because Bridger and Emilia just set the small-town romance standard. 💗

Another banger by Laura, the small town romance queen. I have been chomping at the bit for Bridger and Emilia’s story! The tension is so thick throughout most of the story, which you would expect knowing their history and his dislike for her.
Bridger is definitely a misunderstood, broody, grumpy billionaire but he definitely grew on me. Emilia is just the sweetest ray of sunshine with the right amount of sass to put Bridger in his place.
Their story is full back and forth, push and pull, along with depth and some self discovery along the way. ♥️
Laura always does such a great job with texting banter and the brother’s group chat texts were hilarious as always. The found family in this series is fantastic and these couples are just some of my favorite.

Laura has truly done something incredible with this series. Crazy In Love continues in the footsteps of the Rosewood River series by being laugh out loud funny, truly endearing, and full of incredible tension and banter. I have been waiting all series for this story and the story arc between Bridger and Emilia was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Laura paced this story perfectly, allowing for their mutual hatred to slowly soften into the complete opposite in the most natural way. This has been one of my favorite feel good series of the year and I cannot wait to return to Rosewood River soon.

Crazy in Love is the fourth in the Rosewood River Series by Laura Pavlov and it’s a classic enemies to lovers story that was both entertaining and heartwarming.
In this book, we meet again the oldest Chadwick brother and brooding billionaire Bridger and the vibrant and sunshine Emilia. There was a lot of animosity between them that little by little gave way to a swoon-worthy romance.
Bridger has long considered Emilia his nemesis and his actions have certainly earned him her dislike. But when he finally understands that she isn’t the enemy and tries to make amends, Emilia proves she's not interested in a simple gesture. What she wants is a sincere apology from a man she's declared "broody and heartless." This sets up a captivating dynamic where Emilia's kindness and loyalty begin to chip away at Bridger's walls.
The truth is this grumpy billionaire has a secret big heart, and it was a pleasure to see his carefully constructed defenses crumble the more time he spent with Emilia. And at the same time, he was there to help her find her voice and value. Their chemistry was electric and their journey from enemies to lovers warmed my heart and made me giggle and kick my feet.

Stop it RIGHT NOW. This is 100% my favorite book of the Rosewood River series. Bridger & Emilia have entered the gang and I’m OBSESSED. IN LOVE. I feel like I would honestly read another book about them both I just need more from them I love them so much.
Bridger is standoffish ahole men of very little words type of guys, and Emilia is your typical girl next door, small town girl, just sweet, optimistic, and wholesome. Their feud goes years back but we finallllly get to see them in all their glory. It’s books like these I praise LAURA for just giving us the best sweet, slow, yearning burn ever to live. Her character development is by far the best. Bridger turning into the sweetest man alive and would do anything for Emilia broke my heart 🥹😍and Emilia finally putting her foot down and standing up for herself, and realizing her worth also made me happy cry 🥹
Also pls why does Laura always write the most swoon worthy perfect small town romances that never seize to make me laugh .. their chemistry & conversations are so real and hilarious.

I am so obsessed with Rosewood River and these Chadwicks!! I don’t know how Laura does it, because they are all flawless, but this series keeps getting and better. I couldn’t wait for Emilia and Bridger’s story. I knew the enemies to lovers vibes were going to be fun. He is blunt and straight to the point, and I love how she would sass him back. I just can never get enough of this family, and their unhinged banter and group texts. I laughed so much!! But there were also moments full of emotion and drama that I loved. The story is clever and full of surprises. Laura is my favorite, I always enjoy the humor and heart she puts into all of her books 🥰

as soon as the audio hit my inbox it was game over. i started listening and didn’t stop until i reached the end. my ears were blessed, Vanessa Vasquez and Jason Clarke blew it out of the water. their performances were superb, their portrayal of Emilia and Bridger was sensational, 11/10!
i absolutely adored emilia and bridger. they had incredible banter and the tension between them was *chef’s kiss* their chemistry was hot, hot, hot and it was no surprise they’d definitely act on the fiery attraction they had for each other. and watching the grumpy bridger fall was a thing of beauty. emilia and bridger were so good together and extremely good for each other, they made the perfect team. I. LOVED. THEM.

This is the story I have been waiting for since the beginning of the Rosewood River series. Bridger is determined to out the writer of the Taylor Tea column in the small town''s newspaper, and he knows who the writer is. He is convinced that Emilia is the writer because her parent's own the paper and she is close with his brother's girlfriends. But Emilia is determined to prove to Bridger that she is not the writer.
I love the banter and the tension between Bridger and Emilia. Bridger knows that he needs to apologize to Emilia for what he said to her, but his antics and all his attempts to "apologize" without using the words had me cackling. There is so much heart to Bridger, and he protects those in his circle ferociously. Under his grumpy, crusty exterior, he has a soft side that he only shows to a few people. Seeing him fall for Emilia after he learns who she is and not who he thought she was had me kicking my feet with glee.
Emilia is one of my favorite Laura fmcs. Her strength to fight for her dreams and fight for her innocence was inspiring. I loved how she stood up for herself with her family and I loved how she fought for her business in the face of her mother's opinions. One thing I will say is… I am honestly shocked that Bridger accepted the polygraph test as confirmation. I 100% didn’t think he would.
This has been such a cute series & as always I love that beefcake made an appearance and gives his wise wisdom to this groups lol

I loved Emilia and how she followed her dreams and wasn’t taking any of Bridger’s crap. I also felt so bad for her and how her mom treated her. (I wouldn’t have been so quick to forgive her). I loved that she was bffs with the other girls and how much they supported her.
One thing I will say is… I am honestly shocked that Bridger accepted the polygraph test as confirmation. I 100% didn’t think he would.
This has been such a cute series & as always I love that beefcake made an appearance and gives his wise wisdom to this groups lol

I was absolutely loving this book. From the enemies to lovers and banter between two stubborn main characters, to the hilarious brother/cousin group chat, and the amazing chemistry that they had once their Paris fling began. I enjoyed seeing Bridger’s big heart beneath all brooding he oozed. His relationship with his niece was downright adorable.
However, once they decided to date I was left a little disappointed that we didn’t see some of their huge moments like them telling their friends and family about it, the towns reaction to seeing them be together for the first time and so on. Things felt a little rushed towards to the end.
I liked seeing the juxtaposition between both their families. The Chadwick family were all close, supportive, and loving of one another. Meanwhile Emilia’s family had put her down, played favouritism with her brother, and never supported her, especially her mother.
Both Emilia and Bridger are strong characters and it was nice to see them lean on one another whenever they needed comfort. I can’t wait for the rest of the series and to finally find out who is behind the town’s gossip column once and for all.

I love Laura with all my heart, but this book was just not for me.
There was just something about Bridger that irked me the wrong way. I hated the way his feelings for Emilia changed overnight. He went from completely loathing her and making her life hell to being attracted to her and objectifying her, and that rubbed me the wrong way so hard, I cannot even tell you.
These two together, it just didn’t work for me. I don’t know why. I just could not get into it. I found myself wanting to skip all their s£x scenes; it was just weird. Every single one gave me the ick. I think the fact that I was listening to the audiobook didn’t help either, so I ended up switching to the ebook to see if it worked better for me. Didn’t really work, unfortunately. I also could not stand how much of an insta-love this story was. Just another point on the no list, unfortunately.
I did love Emilia so much, actually. She was like the sweetest girl, but honestly, she deserved better. And not just when it came to her man, but her family, as well, especially her mother. She was such a b**ch to her, treated her like trash, and I could not understand why! And honestly, I feel like that was not even explained well in the story. Her Dad and brother were okay, but took too darn long to stand with Emilia, to speak up and take a stand with her. This whole situation was just heartbreaking. Emilia deserved so much better. She deserved the world. I’m so happy she stood up for herself and didn’t let things go as they were.
As always, I loved the side characters. The friendships, the sibling dynamic, the crazy and funny group chats. They are always the best in a Laura Pavlov book. I can’t wait to read the next one, like always.
