I, Candice Winters, am a big-city event planner, who just volunteered to save Evershift Haven’s Thanksgiving festival. I’m not even sure magic exists yet—and I’m already falling hard for a wolfish lycan, who thinks fur is always in season. I came here from Chicago to visit my sister, Suzette, only to stumble into a town full of magic, quirky residents, and fantastical moments. I’ve spent my career planning upscale parties and glitzy galas, but when Evershift Haven’s Thanksgiving organizer is sidelined by magical morning sickness, I get roped into organizing the town’s biggest event of the season. Oh, and my volunteer “partner” happens to be Ronan, a jaw-droppingly handsome lycan—a full-on wolfman, who can’t transform to just human or wolf. What you see is always what you get…and I like what I see.
Ronan seems intimidating, but there’s gentleness beneath all that fur. He’s a big ol’ cinnamon roll. I’m starting to see the appeal of magic and small-town life, but I still have one foot in the real world. When Thanksgiving’s over, will I return to Chicago? Or will I stick around to make Evershift Haven home?
Welcome back to Evershift Haven—a town that changes itself with the seasons, celebrates every holiday with magical mayhem, and might just inspire you to stay awhile. This second book in the series has all the cozy charm of a crackling fire and pumpkin pie, with a pinch of romance that’s as sweet as it is spicy.
Aurelia Skye is the pen name Kit Tunstall uses when writing science fiction romance. It’s simply a way to separate the myriad types of stories she writes so readers know what to expect with each “author.”
Absolutely loved book two! Very enjoyable short read. Anyone who enjoys Monster Romance must read this series. The more you read the more you picture yourself in Evershift Haven.
Howls & Harvest is a cute little Thanksgiving escape that leans all the way into cozy chaos and magical mayhem. Candice and Ronan’s instant attraction is undeniably sweet, and I loved how he becomes her unofficial tour guide through this charming, ever-shifting town. Their chemistry is light, warm, and easy. Very much the vibe I want in a sweet, holiday novella.
The Thanksgiving feast delivers cozy moments wrapped in outright chaos. A magical mishap, a giant food fight, and plenty of quirky small-town charm make it a fun ride, even if everything moves at lightning speed. It’s fast-paced, definitely instalove, but that feels expected for this length. The tiny bit of spice is playful, and yes, Ronan is a lycan, so there is knotting.
Evershift Haven continues to be adorable, and these stories make great seasonal palate cleansers. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of holiday magic shows up next in the series.
Candice has come to visit her sister and what she discovers is a magical town. When Grizelda the town which is suffering from morning sickness and unable to finish the planning their feast she gets roped into helping finish because she is a party planner. Ronan is a lycan she finds very attractive. He agrees to help with the planning. Their instant attraction turns to so much more.

Small Town Magic Candi has come to Evershift Haven to see her sister’s new life. She blown away by the magic, as well as her attraction to Ronan, the local lycan lumberjack. This story is delightfully sweet, filled with small town warm-fuzzies and fun, along with some spice. I really enjoyed Candi and Ronan’s story - looking forward to a story to celebrate Christmas!
What a fun series. I’ve enjoyed these two books so much, and I’ll be starting book 3 as soon as I’m done with this review. The characters are well developed and a joy to get to know.
What a wonderful story. This story introduced me to more of Evershift Haven than in book one. Such a wonderful magical place and interesting beings. It made me happy that she found a forever home here and to start her HEA with her Lycan.
Didn’t know until this book but the idea of a park with grass and a lake with water that changes color depending on my mood makes me kinda uncomfortable. Who wants grass and water broadcasting their emotional state to the world?!?
