There is a conspiracy crawling over the country… Wallis Jones is back! When operatives move into the suburbs surrounding her normal life, using secrets against her family to stay in control, Wallis Jones struggles to survive in this new and dangerous secret political world she has been sucked into. Fighting to understand the part she must play, Wallis is determined to keep some sense of normalcy, even if it means keeping her secrets from her friends when she realizes knowledge of the far-reaching conspiracy could cost them their very existence. Dragged into the war against her will, and with some hard realizations about her family along the way, Wallis has only one goal; save her family… before her luck runs out. The Butterfly Project could be the answer to it all or it could damn everyone she loves. Can Wallis come to terms with fighting a battle she didn’t get to choose but by her birthright can’t walk away from? Can she forgive and realize she needs an ally or two? Or will her struggle to cope with the chaos of her new life destroy her family from the inside out? Don’t miss The Traitor’s Revenge, the second installment of Martha Carr’s fast-paced new take on an old conspiracy The Wallis Jones Series! If you are a fan of authors like John Gardner, Frederick Forsyth, Nelson DeMille or Clive Cussler then you’ll love The Traitor’s Revenge!
Okay, I'm a late bloomer who's a big DC comics fan and spent my childhood summers on the Jersey shore but I was born under a wandering star and have lived in different parts of America ever since. That's enough about me. Need to feel inspired today? Looking for something to make you root for an ordinary hero? I'm all about that in everything I write.
I love a good tale that makes me wonder about things and I love a story even more that leaves me feeling inspired or like I'm capable of doing more than I realized. That's my goal with everything I've ever written. Some of the stories I tell involve twisting, turning thrillers and others have a lot of magic.
There's something to be said for getting lost in another world and coming out the other side feeling a little better about yourself or the possibilities in front of you. That's basically the best part of life in a nutshell, no matter what kind of story I'm setting out to tell.
After reading The List a few months ago I couldn't wait for The Keeper to come out so I could read what happens next. This series is an amazing political thriller that really makes you think about all of those crazy conspiracy theories in a different way.
In this installment we once again follow Wallis Jones as she struggles to live in this crazy and dangerous secret political world she has been sucked into. Will she be able to save her family or has her luck ran out?
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a political thriller series that isn't an anti-conservative or anti-liberal punch-fest. I would definitely start with the first book though, as they go better if you read them in order.
Kindle Unlimited, think actually got one of her books from one of my freebie sites and have now hit the finish line with 6, at least for this series, and not being a huge fan of 'thrillers' that is saying that she has held my attention. Would do rundown of story, but just read the blurb and any reviews that come in, or better yet read the books listed below, better than any blurb or review.See the pretty stars up there...that's all you need to know.
