OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Sawyer and Noelle met when she's on her way to her parent's house for Christmas Eve and she hits black ice ending up crashing into his front yard through his fence. Noelle's family has family traditions of getting together every year for Christmas putting on Christmas PJ, singing Caroles, baking cookies, playing games, and taking lots of pictures. While Noelle is at work a snow storm hits her mother calls her telling her she needs to be on her way. Noelle heads out and it starts to snow, so she takes the short cut up the mountain but runs into trouble when she hits black ice hits a fence and ends up in Sawyer's front yard. Sawyer comes out when he hears the commotion and sees Noelle crashed into this front yard. Sawyer makes sure that Noelle is alright then tells her she needs to come into his cabin to get out of the snow storm. When Noelle realizes she not going to make it to her parents for Christmas Eve she tries to use her cell phone but doesn't have any service so Sawyer tells her she can use his landline. Sawyer tells her to make herself at home he needs to check on a few things. Sawyer heads out to his greenhouse where he's growing exotic plants, and Noelle gets an idea to decorate his home. When Sawyer hears a loud crash he tries to ignore it, but then he hears Noelle and he knows he can't ignore it any longer. When Sawyer comes out he finds Noelle in the middle of his living room rubbing her hip. Sawyer sees the warm glow of Christmas light all along his ceiling and a tiny Christmas tree in the middle of his table. When Sawyer finds out that Noelle went out in the snowstorm to her car to get all the decorations he tells her that she could have fallen and he wouldn't have know where she was. Noelle gives Sawyer a Christmas sweater she had for her dad when he sees her wearing Christmas PJ's. Then Sawyer helps Noelle decorate so she's not climbing on chairs to reach high places. Noelle tells Sawyer how perfect everything is and he tells her she's perfect. Then his alarm is going off in his green room so he needs to find out what is going on. Noelle follows after Sawyer and finds out the temperature is plummeting and he needs to get the emergency blankets around the plants to save them. Noelle helps Sawyer wrap each plant just perfect to allow humidity and heat into the plant to stabilize them. Sawyer tells Noelle he's spend three years cultivation these plants and they were about to bloom. When they are finished they head back into the living room where Sawyer finds a drawing of mistletoe hanging so Noelle tells him they don't question the Christmas magic and they can't ignore the traditions. Sawyer leans in and kisses Noelle, when the clock chimes he pulls back and wishes her a Merry Christmas, and Noelle tells him Merry Christmas. Noelle asks him what he wished for and Sawyer tells her he wished for her. Sawyer pulls Noelle in to kiss her and it turns into something deeper but then the lights flicker and they are left in the dark. Sawyer tells Noelle he needs to head to the Generator that's outside and she tells him she's going with him. Sawyer tells Noelle to stay close as they get dressed to head outside. Noelle and Sawyer talk and she tells him he's not good at the grump part, he kind with his plants and his kisses are amazing. Sawyer tells her she doesn't know him and Noelle asks him to tell her who he is. Noelle asks him why he stays up here on the mountain side all alone and Sawyer tells her because people leave. When the generator starts to hum, Noelle tells Sawyer she's right her and won't disappear. Sawyer tells her she doesn't know what she's asking for and Noelle tells him she's asking for him, the real him to stop pushing her away. They kiss all the way back to the cabin, Noelle tells him she needs to get out of her wet clothes, then tells him to kiss her. Sawyer tells her if they start this he doesn't think he'll be able to stop, Noelle tells him she wants him. Sawyer pleasures Noelle, then he finds out she's never been with a man before and he makes sure this is what she wants. Sawyer pleasures Noelle once again, then they make love. Afterwords, Noelle asks him how he got into plants, Sawyer asks her about her social media gig she does for Wonder Toys. While they're talking Noelle notices a shift in Sawyer's mood then he tells her he needs to check on his plants. Noelle fallows him to the greenhouse, and tell Sawyer he needs to talk to her, she wants to know him. Sawyer doesn't want to get into it right now so he ask Noelle if they can just have this for now and she agrees. The next day Sawyer is watching Noelle sleep, then he slips from the bed when he realizes he can't have her. Sawyer takes his shower washing Noelle's scent off of him, but when he looks in the mirror he notices he looks different. When Sawyer comes out Noelle is wearing his shirt, she tells him the storm has stopped. Sawyer tells Noelle she should get going, her family will be waiting. Noelle tells Sawyer this doesn't have to end, but he tells her it's not real. Sawyer tells her she lives in the city with her family and has a job. Noelle tells him she can work remotely, she wants to offer solutions instead of letting him push her away. Noelle asks him why he's so determined to be alone, she wants to know what happened. Sawyer tells Noelle that his parents died on Christmas Eve ten years ago, he was to busy with his research. Sawyer tells her they hit black ice like she did but they weren't as lucky they went off the mountain. So now Sawyer stays on the mountain and grows his plants. Sawyer tells Noelle not to look at him like she can fix this, she can't bring them back. Noelle tells him she's not trying to fix this, she wants to love him, all of him. Noelle tells him she loves him and no matter how hard he tries to push her away she's not going anywhere. Sawyer tells her she's going to leave when she realizes he's not good for her. Noelle tells him no she won't, she's going to stay and love him. Noelle goes to Sawyer and kisses him, then he asks her to stay. Noelle asks Sawyer to make love to her, so he leans in and kisses her. Noelle tells Sawyer she wants to make their own traditions together. Noelle calls her mother and lets her know she won't be home for Christmas dinner because she's in love with a mountain man plant guy but will come home tomorrow with Sawyer. Sawyer and Noelle spend Christmas Day all to themselves, making love with each other. Sawyer tells her he loves her too. It's the merriest Christmas ever, sometimes the best gifts come wrapped in mountain snow and second chances. Twelve Months Later, Noelle tries to convince Sawyer that the greenhouse needs musical lights, she gets her Christmas lights but no music. The greenhouse has been transformed the past year, just like everything else in Sawyer's life since Noelle has crashed through his fence. Noelle convince Sawyer to add a small retail space where they sell common varieties of plants. Noelle's social media has turned their place into a scenic destination. When Noelle wants to know why Sawyer is sneaking around with her father, he pulls out the small box he planed to ask her at her parent's Christmas party. Sawyer goes down on one knee and asks Noelle to marry him and she tells him yes. The mountain doesn't feel lonely anymore, the greenhouse has become a place of joy rather than an escape, and Christmas Sawyer now looks forward to many more holiday's with his Christmas angel. Five years later, their four year old daughter Holly inherited her father's love of plants. Noelle is seven months pregnant with their third child, and they have one year old son Nick. After all these years Sawyer still has a passion for his plants. Their greenhouse has evolved over the yers and become a perfect blend of them both. Noelle found a family, a home and the kind of love that blooms brighter each passing season. Some accidents are really meant to change everything for the better.

Noelle works for Wonder Toys as a social media manager so she posts a lot. From birth Noelle has brought the Christmas Spirit to people outside of Christmas as well as during the Holidays. She is the last to leave work to drive home for a family Christmas. As a plus sized woman, she is happy with her curves and knows how to be herself. She is my hero. There is a big storm coming and she still has a drive to go to get to Alpine Cove. Noelle’s antics are sweet and funny and she is an inspiration. I got the biggest kick out of her last name. lol. Because of the storm, she takes a short cut up thru Alpha Mountain and things go wrong and she gets snowed in with a mountain man that is a grumpy grinch. Finding out the reason for it broke my heart. I so needed my AC on because even tho he is a grinch he is a hot one. lol. So, grinch guy’s name is Sawyer. The descriptions of his green house and what he does there is just freaking amazing. It sounds so beautiful, sadly I’m allergic to fragrance so flowers are pretty much off limits to me. There are quite a few spots where it was just hilarious as Noelle reacted to things. I laughed so hard at one point I started hiccuping. The steam between the two as things progress is awesome. I loved the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series.

A standalone within a multi author series brings us Sawyer and Noelle. After leaving late to get to her parents for Christmas, Noelle takes a short cut through Alpha Mountain, the only issue is a storm is coming in and causes her to plow into a fence. Sawyer hearing the commotion comes out, and sees his Christmas miracle. Its not smooth sailing as past wounds still feel fresh for Sawyer so he's extra grumpy and very grinch like. But can the softness and love from Noelle change all that. If you enjoy steamy scenes, pure love, dual pov writing, no cheating, mild angst (past trauma), curvy female lead, virgin romance, holiday romance, standalone within a multi author series, and HEAs this is for you. Megan delivers a festive romance that will have you wanting to curl up with your own mountain man 5/5 stars.
Snowed in With a Grinch by Megan Wade is part of the Alpha Mountain Series.
Noelle Winters is obsessed with Christmas. She is also determined to make it to her family's home regardless of road conditions. So when a blizzard causes her to crash through the fence belonging to a “grinchy” mountain man, her plans take even more of an unexpected turn.
This is a sweet, fun Christmas novella. The story is a quick read with plenty of steam. The characters are good, although TBH Noelle was so talkative it was a bit annoying at times. I enjoy this author, especially her novellas. This is the first I have read in this series, but I plan on checking out the others during this holiday season.
ARC was provided by Booksprout, and this is my honest review
Accidents happen for a reason! This is about Sawyer and Noelle. Noelle is on her way to spend Christmas with her family, and while she plans to take the back roads to avoid traffic, she doesn't count on the storm coming sooner than expected, making the roads treacherous. Of course, she takes down Sawyer's fence with her car. Sawyer overhears it and checks if the person driving is okay, and she is beside herself. This is how the story starts, but it gets funnier from there, especially when Noelle notices no Christmas cheer in his home! How can that be? The story is excellent, and I love how the Grinch didn't steal Christmas but made it even better for all involved!.

Megan Wade joins the fabulous multi-author Alpha Mountain series with Snowed in With a Grinch. Social media manager Noelle is on her way to her family's Christmas Eve dinner when a shortcut through the mountains results in her car sliding off the road and through a fence. Sawyer has retreated to the mountains and was quite happy with his life of solitude until the chatty - and beautifully curvy - Christmas-loving Noelle literally crashes into it. Now stuck together in the middle of a snowstorm on Christmas, will Noelle's Christmas spirt rub off on the grinchy mountain man? Steamy and oh-so-swoony, Snowed in With a Grinch is another must-read from Ms Wade.

Noelle is a Christmas enthusiast and on her way to her huge family Christmas party. On her drive there she gets into an accident and drives right into Sawyers fence. Sawyer is a hermit that loves on the mountain in solitude and cultivates orchids. He is the grumpy to her sunshine and when these two are caught together in a blizzard, sparks fly and they fall hard for each other. Noelle shows him to finally let go of the past and how to live a happy life. A cute short Instalove story with sweet characters and a sweet HEA 😍😍 Instalove, sweet, romantic, fun to read, OTT and safe with an.awesome HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍
Noelle embraces everything the holidays have to offer, and she isn’t about to let anything bring down her spirit and that includes being stranded with Sawyer. She is determined to turn his cantankerous attitude around and show him everything he is missing.
Sawyer believes that all he can expect from life is his solitary existence and his plants. When Noelle interrupts his solitude, she shows him there is so much more to life than the way he has been living it but first he must make peace with his past.
Great chemistry, a heartwarming romance, a little turmoil and an epilogue that is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Determined to make it home for the holidays, Noelle is not in her right mind. She left the office late and in her VW determined to get over the mountain to make in time be home. Gruff finds her car in front of his house with a broken fence. He is a one man band up here in the mountain. He and his Orchids. The bringer or good cheer and toy prototypes is here to save the holiday, aka Noelle. She is a holiday force to be reckoned with in all lights and musical sweaters. Funny and intense. Good holiday close proximity read.

Fast read. Really fast. Sawyer and Noelle. The mean one Mister Grinch and the sweet one Cindy Lou Who. This is really perfect for this Christmas season. Noelle is a bright and bubbly woman, who gets into a car accident involving the Grinch's fence. Sawyer, the Grinch is a broody, sexy mountain man who rescues her. Their chemistry is instant and so perfect. I liked how her sweetness drove him insane. I liked how she wanted to bring the joy of the season to Sawyer's life. They burn bright in that dark, snowy night. I received a complimentary copy of this story and I freely left this review.
Mr Tall, Dark and Grinchy never expected a Christmas Angel to crash into his life....but crash in is exactly what Noelle does. She brings her very own brand of Christmas cheer, followed by an avalanche of all his biggest fears! This mountain man has all his defenses up, but no matter how much he tries to resist, Noelle's Christmas spirit smashes through as she turns the temperature to steamy. Their chemistry can only be denied for so long..... I really enjoyed this Christmas overload which I read on Kindle Unlimited.
Noelle Winters has the perfect name for her personality, full of Christmas cheer and goes all in for her family’s Christmas gatherings – terrible, musical, ugly holiday sweaters and all. When a snowstorm causes her to crash into the fence of a ‘grinch’ in the form of gruff, reclusive Sawyer, she takes it as a personal challenge to bring some holiday magic to their forced time together. Short and steamy novella but as a self-confessed grinch myself I found Noelle too much and unlike Sawyer did not fall in love with her.
Noelle, social media manager for Wonder Toys is finishing up a media podcast before leaving for her parents' house for the Christmas holidays. But a severe snow storm ends her plans with car crush in a fence. The fence owner,Sawyer, comes out to rescue her before she freezes. He prefers his silence with no Christmas decorations. Noelle loves her decorations. He has a greenhouse with exotic plants that he is researching. Why is Sawyer a 'Grinch'? Can Noelle change Sawyer's attitude?.

Sawyer and Noelle's story is a quick, fun read that screams Christmas magic. I love that they are complete opposites yet are perfectly matched. Sawyer is the classic grump with the heartbreaking backstory while Noelle is all sunshine, rainbows, unlimited energy and the gift of gab. I enjoyed reading how their chance encounter on Christmas Eve turned into a fast, steamy, world wind romance literally overnight. I wouldn't love this to have been a full-length novel. This story warms your heart and make you believe in miracles and magic.
Noelle is a city girl on her way home for the family Christmas when she accidentally crashes into Sawyer's fence. Sawyer is a mountain man who loves being alone until he sees Noelle. This is a grumpy/sunshine Christmas romance between two characters who found love when they least expected to. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. Snowed in with the Grinch is book one and a great start to the multi-author Alpha Mountain series. I look forward to reading the rest of the books. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This is a lovely love at first sight , sweet, funny, steamy story that you can't help but smile while you're reading it. Noelle & Sawyer are two polar opposites but the minute they Christmas fairy she is crashes into his life she turns the grumpy mountain man to mush. She brings him out of his shell & shows him deserves to feel he deserves love in his life more than just taking care of his precious flowers.

It was the perfect mix of Noelle's of sweet & Sawyer's grumpy.
This book was heart felt and genuine (smexy times weren't half bad either, let me tell you!)
I loved Sawyer and Noelle together, I loved how she loved him even when he was convinced that he didn't know how to or even that he deserved to love her in return. But love her he did!!
Great little Christmas read! With a Plus sized, Christmas obsessed female main named Noelle who reviews toys for a living, you just knew it was going to be a bright and sunshine-y story. This book did not disappoint and the absolute care and worship that this man does for her and every heated look described in these chapters it makes me want to BE HER.
This story has such a warm and fuzzy happy ending especially the last epilogue!
Really enjoyable read. Noelle handles the social media for Wonder Toys. She decided to travel when it really was not advisable. Sawyer is a grumpy mountain man who is a horticulturist of rare orchid species. Tropes: Mountain man, holiday, Christmas, quick read, curvy women, alpha hero, grumpy/ sunshine, OTT instalove HEA romance.
A huge thank you to Megan Wade and Booksprout for providing me with an eARC book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was another fun read for the series and I loved the opposites attract romance that Noelle and Sawyer experience. She's vibrant, confident and brims with energy and curiosity. He's calm, reclusive and doesn't like the holidays. She, of course, loves Christmas and shares her joy selflessly. Really, you know he's going to cave, how could he not? ;P I really enjoyed how she swept in and changed the course of his life to give them both a fab and steamy HEA. So fun!
I really liked Noelle and Sawyer, they were strong individuals and I found them both likeable and interesting. I liked how he wasn't your typical Mountain recluse and I really liked how Noelle could pull Christmas out of a hat so to speak. I believed in their connection and chemistry and enjoyed seeing them together and getting their HEA.

A simple accident has Noelle bursting into Sawyer's perfectly isolated life and creating chaos wherever she goes. However, she also brings love, light and joy to his life and once he realizes this is what he wants, he can't do enough to make her stay with him. It's sweet, romantic and steamy and the perfect story to cozy up by the fire and spend a couple of hours reading.

Noelle crashes into Sawyer’s fence when she skids off the road on her way home Christmas Eve. He hasn’t celebrated Christmas ever since the tragic accident many years ago. Now he’s become a grumpy lumberjack with an unusual hobby and he doesn’t know how to handle Noelle’s Christmasy spirit. Noelle is determined to become the love and laughter in Sawyer’s life that will make him bloom. A wonderful Holiday story of love and family. I received an ARC copy of this book.
When Noelle literally crashes into Sawyer's life on Christmas Eve he is not very happy but the more time he spends with her the more he finds himself falling for her. But it will take Noelle's strong will and infectious holiday spirit to ensure they get their HEA in this heartfelt holiday read.
Enjoyed this, Noelle sweeps in with a bubble of energy, confidence, spirit and curiosity, love her boldness. Sawyer is the exact opposite, cool, calm and in need of some melting. This made me smile with the happiness she so selfishly shares. How can he resist? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A mountain recluse whose life is devoted to rare plants.... And a bubbly joyous voice of love and the future meet unexpectedly when a snow storm accident brings an abrupt halt to Noelle's trip home for Christmas. And drags Christmas back into Sawyer's life when he least expects it. A sweet story of love and hope...
Cute and fun romance to read for the holiday season. A quick light read with a bit of spice. Enjoy the grumpy sunshine aspect to the story as well; Noelle is a bit too much sunshine, which can be annoying, but still appreciate her love for Christmas and getting Sawyer into the spirit of things. Enjoyed the story!
I was somewhat surprised by this one and I really liked that Noelle wouldn’t let Sawyer push her away (no 3rd act breakup) and basically forced him to confront what was scaring him and instead stayed and convinced him he was worthy of all the love she wanted to give him.
Snowed in with a Grinch is book 1 in the Alpha Mountain series by Megan Wade a new to me author and is a sweet holiday romance. Noelle, a bright happy go lucky sunshine girl crashes literally into grumpy grinch Sawyer life. The chemistry between the two is undeniable and plays out so nicely.
