Rate this book
They had a deal.
Remi would tutor Ava, even though she secretly didn’t need it, and Ava would be Remi’s fake girlfriend for his sister’s birthday dinner. A win-win for Ava, considering she was hardcore crushing on him.
Remi had one Don’t let it become real.
Things take an interesting turn when Remi’s parents insist he brings Ava home for Christmas. After little moments, Remi finds himself becoming attached, and Ava notices the change. When Christmas Eve rolls around and Remi’s ex-girlfriend shows up, Ava wonders if it’s all in her head.
She said he could borrow her heart, but what happens when he wants to keep it?

I didn’t know how badly I needed Ava and Remi’s story and now I’m laying here crying happy tears after binging this in one afternoon!!

Ava and Remi are goaallssss. Swoon worthy. A championship kiss in the confetti?! Ava stood her ground and let Remi know it’s all or nothing-she isn’t here to play games. And Remi? That boy had walls upon walls to tear down.

Thank you for the ARC Kirstie! I can’t wait for book 2 in the Golden Boys duet. Definitely read Gavin + Quinn’s story before hopping into this novella.

Grabbed this at a local bookstore. Having not read any of the others in the series, it was a good intro to the characters without needing background. My only reason for a 3 star rating is that it felt rushed. So many scenes were far too short. The characters were cute and could have a lot more build. It’s just needed time to develop. Overall a cute, quick read. Just wished there was more.

I knew the moment we met Remi and Ava in Heart of Gold, that we would need their love story! I’m so excited that we got this novella. It was perfect for the Christmas season and had me grinning ear to ear. The connection was undeniable.
I’ll take a Remi for myself, please!

The young love between Remi and Ava is just too sweet!
Left wanting more as I always am with a great story.

I loved these two together, and their banter and chemistry just worked! I liked them more than Quinn and Gavin . I wish this one was longer!

I am so glad that this short novella told Ava and Remi’s story. Now that we know how they end up, I am curious to who the next book will be about? Levi and Allie?? Hmm I hope so.
