Ready to uncover the wonderful (and wonderfully weird) world of British culture?
a cute, fun little book. could use a bit of editing, but it was a quick and enjoyable read, and the illustrations were delightfully silly.
i do recommend it for any outsider planning a UK visit in the near future; the metro etiquette section alone is worth the price (my future self thanks you in advance).
I almost stopped reading this book when it announced that the late Queen had two sons. Charles and Andrew. After Edward lost his place in the Royal Family I began to suspect that the author doesn’t know half of what he’s pretending to. I struggled on, but other inconsistencies and inaccuracies were just too annoying so I did not finish this book. Sometimes life really is too short.
