I thought I knew danger after my first few weeks at MistHallow. I was wrong.

The bonds between me and my guys have grown stronger, deeper, more twisted. Our magick intertwines in ways that defy explanation.

But our connection has unleashed something dark. Ancient. Hungry.

Whispers of a forgotten ritual echo through the academy's halls. A ritual that could grant unimaginable power – or destroy us all.

My wild magick is spiralling out of control, responding to their darkness in ways I never imagined. I'm losing myself in them, in the intoxicating blend of danger and desire they offer.

But we're not the only ones after the ritual's power. Enemies lurk in the shadows, some wearing friendly faces. Trust becomes a luxury I can't afford.

As the lines between love and obsession blur, I have to ask am I strong enough to control the chaos we've unleashed? Or will I succumb to the darkness?

Soul Bound

What a ride this book is. You have so much action, heat, and still a huge mystery going on that you just can't stop reading this book. Tilly is really coming into her own, and the guys are finally figuring out how to handle all this. Couldn't put it down.
Now, where do i find my own Chaos for a pet?

When I tell you this book is fine. This is book is scrumdidalyumptious, it made me wanna go 🤤🤤🤤 I ain’t kidding. I will happily lay out in the floor ma’am.

Alright let’s get down to it. So if your new to the wonderful world of Eve (a place of which you will never wanna leave, it’s our own personal neverland) buckle up for a book that is sure to leave you squirming, speechless and well a little on edge (in all the best ways possible).
In all honesty like can I get a pocket size copy of each of them please!!! For research purposes!!! Lord have mercy the deliciousness that just falls off these men!!!
Matilda is a strong and beautiful woman who without a doubt could handle anything but when she has her three men she is unstoppable.
Seriously what are you still doing here… go get the book already. The queen is waiting!!!

so good!

Eve does it again! Tilly, Vex, Draven and Luc are amazing! So much happens as we go into this second book with these guys. There’s action, adventure, mystery, betrayal, hot headmasters and professors, what more could you ask for in these steamy series? Oh yeah - Druids! My favorite!! When we thought a sexy TA and Hell Twins couldn’t get any better they do! And then we add in the infamous deep dark library adventures with dark secrets from the past and all sorts of family drama, this second book will leave you answers and then more questions! Can’t wait for the final book in the series! Sooo good!

I am really enjoying this series. This is book 2 in the Cursed Decent series. Another great book. We are back with Matilda( whom I absolutely loved since book 1). I’m always a sucker for a good storyline. And this series has it. Plus my steam and of course action filled.
I am so in love with her guys!! Oh I so cannot wait to read book 3. Definitely a must read. So good!!

Book number 2 does not disappoint

Tilly, Vex, Draven and Luc are so much fun. I was on the edge of my seat for every twist and turn in this book. There is literally no stopping the action. Tilly really got more and more development in this book, she is flawed but that is what makes her so amazing.
I am so obsessed with all of the characters inn this book.

2/5⭐️

I don't know if what happened in this book was any better than the first but sadly I'm invested
Not a fan of her "men" graping her for a ritual
It makes me sick to my stomach tbh
They said it would be CNC but it was definitely more than that.

The twists just keep on coming!

Starts with an out of left field revelation and then just keeps on giving them. Lots of action with steam sprinkled in, it kept me gripped until the last page.
With that cliffhanger having me yelling ‘nooooo!, can’t wait for the next book.

DNF. The writing is just not good

I liked the premise of the first book. The story was ok, even with the fast paced smut.
I just found that the story line was not concise.
The characters just seemed to accept any explanation for what was happening at face value, put a lot of trust into literally any adult figure and never asked questions.
Didn't like that the intimate scenes happened out of nowhere and didn't really feel revelant to the story.
Just seemed like a rip-off of Harry Potter with some sex and a bad story line

Woah! What a ride! This book definitely did not fall flat. In fact, it picked up in ways I really wasn’t expecting. The writing doesn’t get any better though lol. Very cringe, but I’m reading this for the plot so let’s get into it.

Tilly is largely finding out who she really is and what she’s really capable of in this installment. I definitely still had a lot of remaining questions about the Guardians, her parents, and all the abuse she endured at the end of Book 1 and this book pretty much answered all of them and then some.

🚨🚨 MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW 🚨🚨

I have to start with that ritual chamber in the tunnels because the first time they all entered it and things went down, I KNEW something was off about that. In all honesty, I felt like they were really just doing stuff. I’m not entirely sure why I’d expect two Hell twins and a dark warlock to be wary of having a sex ritual in the tunnels they’re investigating, but I did. It also seemed like every decision they made down there was the wrong one no matter what new information they learned .

Learning about the male Druids and the part they played in everything disgusted me to no end. The fact that they were still doing it thousands of years later bothered me the most because it’s not like any of what they were doing was working before. I was beyond ecstatic when Tilly removed Chris from existence.

The book ending with us finding out her “sister” Janice was actually her ancient goddess birth mother lowkey shook me. I knew something was off about Janice being that she was the only member of her “family” that actually treated her decently, but I certainly wasn’t expecting that.
That really makes knowing what she endured at the hands of her “family” even more upsetting. Not only did Janice not protect her, she orchestrated it.

I don’t know how Tilly does it, but I definitely would’ve gone dark side by that point after discovering all of the many manipulations and lies that have been orchestrated over the millennia to use her as a means to their ends.

I’m already almost done with the final book so stay tuned! 😉

This is such a MUST read!! This has become my absolute favorite book from Eve! We got action, spice, drama and edge of your seat with suspense!

Matilda- holy crap! Her character development was intense. We see her go through so much with her magic, with her feelings and just trying to survive. I really love her character, she isn't weak nor extremely strong (not power wise, cause you have to read to find out). She has her flaws that makes her relatable.

Vex- Oh Professor, more, I need more! Going in I knew he was going to be my new book daddy. Butttt fuuuudddgggeee is he perfect. I love his character, yes he's arrogant but he sure can back it up! I love seeing the depths of his feelings in this book and seeing him grow into something more powerful, not just in magic either.

Draven- Unholy hottie! I swear his character gets better and better. We get to see a very special part of him and it just made him more perfect!! I absolutely love him and his special part! Gotta read it to find out!

Luc- Going in I wanted to smack him around but oh how he changed my tune in this! He is hilarious! His little quips were great!! Loved seeing why blood was a big deal! He is just a great tension breaker! His growth was more than I realized I needed.

Luke Blackthorn- Hello Headmaster! I swear the more we see him the more I need him in my life! We see a different side to him in this book. I NEED his book like yesterday!! Ughhhh he is such a Daddy!!

Morrigan- I loved seeing her be good in this! I trust her now... hopefully that doesn't bite me in the butt later.

Gaida- We only saw her briefly, but I missed her! Hopefully we see her in her own book soon!

The twist and turns of this book was insane. I did not see any of these coming!! Totally blindsided me!! I swear Eve was trying to hurt my soul with this!! I highly recommend this book and author!! **CHECK THE TRIGGERS BEFORE GOING IN!*

It alk starts to hit the fan

A little chaotic for my liking, but not enough to stop reading the series. The cliffhanger helps with that too. I get a little tired of characters finding stuff out and not sharing with us what it is until later. Why bother having a 1st person narrative ? It fortunately never took long, but it was a little annoying. Also, Big B tells them not to go off, and yet they consistently go off without telling him. But the story was good. They work through figuring out the deal with the cursed ground. They discover that multiple people believe multiple things, and essentially none appear to be quite accurate. We have our central quartet, zombies, ghost, skeletons, even angels, as well as goddesses older then time itself. There is also a lot of underground collapsing going on, which, thanks to magic or something, does not do more than shake the ground at the academy.... There are some unfinished issues that I hope get answered in the next book, but may in fact be unfinished thoughts from the author, like why did she fall to her knees when Drayven wrestles control of the skeletons away from Night?

Here we are back on the twisted roller-coaster and bloody hell is the ride fun!! Druids, Witches and all sorts of Supernaturals pop up in this book to throw in plenty of complications for Matilda (FMC) and the guys. All the while Matilda has to navigate her own troubles in finding out about herself and her powers throughout this book.

My word is Matilda a lucky girly with her harem of hotties. (Fans herself) hello Vex!! Just a brief detour to say I'm loving the smoking hot headmaster - Blackthorn. I can't help but think of how he disciplines unruly people (lol).

Anyway this series keeps getting better with every book that comes out and I'm definitely here until the end.

What a cliffhanger!

Wow, that was intense! In the discoveries they make and just how often, there is no let up. There was so much to unpack plot-wise in this book, but in saying that I never felt lost, until the end (but that’s why it’s called a cliffhanger!). I enjoyed how we see the characters develop and their relationship too, I could feel it more in this book. There are still a lot of unanswered questions and that ending only teased us with a partial answer, while adding a new unanswered question. I am really looking forward to the third installment, bring it on!

Chaos incarnate!

Seriously, if you haven't started this series, you need to now! This book is chaos incarnate, and it will eat you bones and all! Yeah, I did that... and you will know what I did if you read this book, Lol!
Picking up from book 1, you continue the journey of Matilda, Draven, Vex, and Luc. They reveal more secrets that delve deeper into Matilda's past that was in the making for eons. You will debate even having to do real-life adulting, just so you can stay home and read this book non-stop until the end.

what is happening?!

What the fudge is happening in this book? Like honestly I stopped at like 86% and just read the last two chapters.

I wanted this to be awesome, unfortunately it was so convoluted and I hate to say but just stupid. I wanted everything to have wonderful connections and mean something; but so much is just threadbare connections that don’t hold up under really and thought.

I found myself more annoyed than appreciative of the sex scenes, they were so heavy handed and 90% felt just so out of place. Idk not for me I guess.

so sssllllloooooowwwwwwwww

This book dragged. So. Hard. And Matilda was GD annoying. Always fighting against what she's being taught and instead of suing emotional revelations as motivation she lets its crush her causing her progress to backslide. More whining, then jumping into crap unprepared, more whining when things don't go in a completely positive direction, even more whining when answers aren't given on a platter. Ugh. I'm invested to see how this ends but I hope to all the literary gods that the story improves from the second book 🤞🏼🙏🏼

This is a captivating and thrilling read! Matilda is a character that draws you in with her blend of sweetness, strength and sass. Despite the scars of her past, she is undeniably strong, and I loved watching her confidence blossom. Luc, Vex, and Draven are perfectly matched to her, and the simmering tension and steamy chemistry between them will keep you turning the page. Their possessiveness and protectiveness are captivating and hot!!. You won't be able to put this book down!

Do not expect to do anything else until you've reached the last page

This story has gotten a chokehold on me and I cannot think of anything else.
The story has ensnared my soul and my heart is full of love for the character's, from Tilly, Luc, Draven and Vex to Chaos and my sweetie, the badash headmaster Blackthorn.. ... Not to mention we see Xavi, kicka$$ bada$$ Horseman Pestilence and The Devil pops up to say hi. I am in - *ahem excuse the reference - Heaven 😜

This book just takes it up another level from book 1. The plot is amazing as always and the steam of the charts. Now I am a fan yes but with good reason. The story here with Vex, Luc and Draven as the guys and Matilda being her lovable self with her sweetness and sass is just chefs kiss. I love how protective and incredible possessive they are. I mean talking about a dream come true right? This is a must read in my book. Highly recommend it.

With magick spiraling out of control, bonds that blur the line between love and possession, and an ancient power hungry for chaos, this book delivers high-stakes tension, sizzling chemistry, and betrayals lurking in the shadows.

I’m not sure about this one.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the MistHallow series before this one and the first book in this trilogy earned 5 stars; however, the sex in this book doesn’t seem to contribute to the characters or the story.
I have no problem with dark or depraved, but this mostly seemed just crass. I’m struggling to care about these characters any more. I’m still interested in the plot, which is why I gave more than 3 stars.

Where do I even begin! Soul Bound is a fast paced wild ride!!! Tilly's character flourishes in this book, and we see a depth to her i never expected. Draven, Luc and Vex, oh my!!!!🌶🌶😘😘 Headmaster Blackthorn, or Luke, has some serious BDE, and I'm here for it. That cliffhanger was epic, but be mindful of the triggers.

This continues to not be for me. Read first three chapters, then skipped to last four chapters. Scanned remainder and it seems I missed a bunch of strange spicy scenes on underground altars. Druids, angels, hell princes, forced breeding and heavenly powers form this convoluted plot.

Eve Newton has done it again. I couldn't put this book down. I was hooked from the first page. Full of action, adventure, and mystery. Tilly amd her guys (Vex, Draven, and Luc) are growing with everything happening. Will they be the one's to gain the ritual's power or will their enemies beat them to it? I can't wait for the final book in this series to come out.

Good Read

This was another brilliant instalment in the Misthallow Academy series. The story drew me in from the beginning and had me on the edge of my seat and just as I thought answers were coming the book ended on another cliffhanger. I love the characters and learning more about them as the story progresses. I would recommend giving it a read.
