I slept with my trainer. And as it turns out, I’m not the only one.

Apparently, he sleeps with all his clients.

So I block him—the last thing I need is another a-hole in my life. Especially one as irresistibly charming and handsome as Ashton Vancroft.

The catch? Three years later, our best friends, Emma and Marcus, get engaged, and we are both forced to play nice at their destination wedding in Florida.

Is he really the self-centered playboy I’ve made him out to be? Or is there something more to this fitness-obsessed now-billionaire that I missed the first time around?

Well, after getting stranded on a secret island together and being forced to hunker down in the same cabin, I guess I have no choice but to find out…

I had an absolute blast reading this book! It strikes the perfect balance between steamy and sweet, delivering a story packed with sizzling chemistry, witty banter, and plenty of heart. I especially loved how the authors wove a touch of mystery into the characters' backgrounds, keeping things intriguing until all was revealed. And, of course, the addition of friends, family, and pets gave it that signature Misha Bell charm—like reading about my best friend’s adventures.

From the very first page, this book took off at full speed and never let up. The laugh-out-loud moments were nonstop, and just when I thought I had a handle on things, the heat between the hero and heroine exploded into something intense and electrifying. We’re talking serious steam! Throw in some forced proximity on a deserted island, and I was completely hooked. If you're looking for a fun, quirky, and ultra-smexy read to spice up a cold day, this one is a must!

It was a mediocre book.
Right off the bat, I didn’t like the writing style. But I thought I’d give it a chance. It wasn’t worth it.

I really hated the judgemental tone in this book regarding sexual experience, food from different cultures, and different food lifestyles, (i.e. veganism).
It’s one of the reasons the FMC was so unbearable.

I thought I was going to love this after really liking Emma and Marcus’s book but this was nowhere as good as their story. Bit disappointed that I spend £3.99 on a 234 page book and then ended up not really liking it. I just didn’t really like the characters in this, there were some funny parts but several cringe parts too. And then one of my all time hated things happened in the epilogue (I’ll spoil below)

So the first 10 chapters are about Ashton and Kendall meeting 3 years ago. Kendall is swearing off men after just being cheated on but her bosses wife sends her to her personal trainer Ash to ‘stop being mopey’ so Kendall goes to the gym and unbeknownst to her Ashton is standing in for Ash that day. She calls him Ash and he doesn’t correct her because he thinks she’ll just be a client and it won’t matter. Anywho, they end up really hitting it off and go on a date after that then leads to a ONS. She ends up leaving really early when he’s still asleep due to a work emergency. Her bosses wife sees that she’s all glowy and makes a comment about knowing how well Ash ‘performs’, and how he sleeps with all his clients. Kendall still thinking Ash and Ashton are the same person is disgusted and disappointed so she deletes and blocks his number.

So 3 years later they meet again when each of their best friends are getting married to each other. There’s some forced proximity due to the wedding that leads them to start hooking up again and they talk about why she ghosted but it’s more miscommunication because she still thinks he’s a manwhore who slept with every client but when she refers to him being a manwhore he thinks she’s talking about his college days. They’ve both been celibate since their ONS but she doesn’t believe him when he tells her this, although it doesn’t stop her sleeping with him again or trusting that he’s clean because they don’t use condoms when they start having sex again. Like surely if you think he’s been dipping it in everyone you’d be more cautious about letting him go bare.

Anyway, long story short the miscommunication about the reason for the ghosting isn’t cleared up until 87% when they bump into her bosses wife and the whole Ashton/Ash thing is cleared up. But Ashton is pissed that she had still been thinking so lowly of him the whole time, before they get a chance to really talk about it his sister has a medical emergency and they rush to her side. Then he overhears her telling her brother that he isn’t her boyfriend so he sends her home and there’s a short separation of like a day I think? 🤔 they talk, make up and exchange I love yous and The End.

-Dual pov
-Ages ??? No clue
-Miscommunication
-3 year separation- both celibate
-No omd
-Owd- before they get together again, when they’re at their friends wedding there’s a photographer ow who after being told that the H & h aren’t a couple she hits on the H but he’s not interested and turns her down.
When they go to the hospital to see the H’s sister his parents are there with his ex gf from college, apparently they tried to push him into marriage with her but he’s not interested at all, his parents said they called her to come because they hoped he’d come to his senses but he tells her to leave. Then the ow catches him alone in the corridor and asks him if they can talk about ‘us’ he shuts her down hard and basically tells her to fuck off.
-Third act breakup (is it still a 3rd act breakup if it happens at like 95%) with a short separation, I think a couple days at most.
-HFN they exchange I Love yous and plan to move in together
-Epilogue- unsure how far in the future but they’re at a runway fashion show for Kendall’s latest athleisure collection. She publicly proposes to Ashton, she said he got all their firsts, he realised they were serious, asked to move in and said I love you first.
She wanted to be the first at something so she gets down on one knee and everything and asks him to marry her. Then he whipped out a ring cus he’s been planning to propose too and was waiting for a great opportunity and he proposed right back.

I fucking HATE when the h proposes, and the fact it was so public. I literally shouted ‘NOOOO’ at my kindle, it’s one of my biggest icks in romance books and idk why but it gives me severe second hand embarrassment for the h.

I love the tie to the Wall Street Titan books. To get Marcus and Emma's best friend's story was fun!

I adored Ashton. He was hot for Kendall from the start which I love in a hero. Kendall was obviously smitten but the news she received made her cautious. I admit, if I heard the same thing, I can't blame her for her reaction. It was fun to read about their journey as they made their way back to each other.

As always, I love the humor of this author. I know when I crack open a Misha Bell book, I'm going to laugh.

I'm a big big fan of Anna Zaires and when Misha Bell came about, I was a tad worried how it would go - well we're several books in and I'm still loving them!!

Ashton and Kendall meet in previous books and you knew there was attraction there. Yet it's been a while so it takes a bit to twig.

Certain gossip sends them their seperate ways and then the story just keeps on turning.

Lots of banter, attraction, more banter, a good story and I want more!

Really enjoyed it.

I really, REALLY tried to like this one. I promise. Mostly cause I love Anna Zaires more than anything.

But honestly, I’m not sure if this was ‘cause of the collab with hubby Dima, but this just didn’t read like an Anna Zaires book.

And I’m SAD.

Especially given how much I love Wall Street Titan.

I will say, part of it is a me problem. Namely, I hate second chance (which this is) and I HATE (uppercase emphasis) miscommunication plots (of which this is the entire plot). I really just wanted to shake both Ashton and Kendall.

If the story wouldn’t have happened if the characters had a 30 second conversation, I get filled with so much rage I just can’t look past it.

So really, I hate that I had to write this review :(

Fit For Love brings back Ashton and Kendall, two high energy, charismatic characters from the Wall Street Titan duet. It turns out, they DID know each other. After their fitness-related Meet Cute, things seemed to really click between them, until “something” drives them apart. Remember when Emma thought Marcus was Mark and Marcus thought Emma was Emmeline? Yeah, something along those lines.

Anna Zaires is one of my favourite romance authors and Misha Bell is has a comedic wit that always leaves me laughing. Ashton and Kendall’s story brings the best of both worlds. It broke me out of a reading slump and felt like a literary comfort blanket. Just what I needed and wanted.

Speaking of Anna Zaire’s books that are really bad I’m going to officially DNF this @67% after just one starring another new release of hers😅 I normally don’t rate DNFs but I’ve been trying to read this since March and I read most of it and honestly it deserves it along with the other book of hers I actually did just finish. Both of them were coincidentally co-authored…maybe that’s part of it who knows but I did like the Wall Street Titan duet that this was a spin off from and she also co-wrote that with her husband who worked on this too, but this book, utter crap. I’m so sorry, but it’s so so bad. Like horrible writing. Insanely boring and random plot that makes no sense. Boring, annoying, one dimensional characters. I could go on and on. I rarely say this but don’t read this lol.

The excerpt and the ad for it sounded so promising and then the book was a let down.
The idea of the story was good, but the style just makes it feel like a parody. It reads like the author is making fun of rom coms, though that may be deliberate after looking up more of the author.
I would have probably skipped it had I known what it is. But oh well.

I can’t stress to you enough of badly Anna Zaires fucked up with writing Kendall and Ashton’s love story. It’s pretty common for authors to fuck up their spin off characters and she definitely did. I honestly could have handled a lot, except the sex was so bad that I mentally tracked AZ down and fed her to the alligators. Since I couldn’t get this on Kindle or from the library, I wasn’t able to log all the info that I normally would in my reviews…. Not that I recommend reading this anyway.

…he murmurs in a deep, soft voice that reminds me of melted things – like caramel, hearts, and panties

Kendall (clothes designer, Emma’s BFF) is interning for an eccentric, outrageous designer, and since she’s putting off bad juju, the guy’s wife suggests she goes to an athletic trainer to work out her stress.

Ashton (fitness instructor, Marcus’s BFF) is about to head home when his boss asks him to fill in for his co-worker, “Ash”, and take care of his client.

Insta-lust happens, an argumentative workout, an excellent coffee date, followed by intense sex (for them, not us). The next morning, Kendall zips off to work and Ashton wakes up feeling like he’s just met his future wife.

Kendall gets to work where the boss’s wife tells her how “Ash” sleeps with all of his clients, including the boss & her. Instead of asking Ashton about it, she ghosts him, leaving Ashton confused and a little heartbroken.

Flash forward 3 FUCKING YEARS and we arrive at the doomed luncheon they share with Marcus and Emma (in their book, Wall Street Titan). The two try to put away their animosity towards each other when they travel to Florida for M & Em’s wedding, where they later get stuck in a swamp cabin with only each other and some trail mix.

They resume the hot and heavy sex, head back to NYC and Ashton feels like they’re starting over. He again falls in love while Kendall holds back. Yada yada, they discover how the mistaken identity is what caused Kendall to hurt him, and he’s again heartbroken. The next day they reconcile and there’s an HEA.

So…… you can see where I’m having problems.

SEX: This is some of the worst sex I’ve read in a long time, and I can’t tell you how much it pissed me off. We start with their first time, and it’s at about the 20% mark. The whole leadup to it was hot, but when we get to the sex, you get:

By the time I bottom out inside her, we’re both panting and sweating - and it’s only the beginning. Pulling out, I slowly thrust back in as her nails dig deeper into my skin, and then… then I begin to fuck her in earnest, the barbarian unleashed. By the time I come, she’s full-on screaming, and I’ve counted at least three orgasms. The end.

WHERE THE FUCK IS THE ACTUAL SEX?!?! From there, in their future scenes, we get even less than that. It’s basically something like, “I slide inside and proceed to give her everything I have. We wake up the next morning, snuggled together.”. Bro… I swear to Christ I was throwing things, cussing, and about to rip my TV off the wall and throw it out the window just for the hell of it.

The ONLY redeeming thing about this is that both Ashton and Kendall don’t fuck anyone else in the three years they’re apart.

ASHTON: He’s fucking perfect. He’s truly the sweetest guy and so fucking thoughtful. It pissed me off so damn much how she kept breaking his heart. Such a bitch.

KENDALL: Absolutely none of the humor and rational thinking that she demonstrated in Wall Street Titan made it over to this fic. Fuck everything she does.

Again, I don’t recommend this book unless you just want to see how adorable Ashton is.

The only reason this got 2 stars instead of one is because Ashton is awesome and the fact neither of them had sex during their 3 year break.

Urgh I really really wanted to like this one, especially after really enjoying Marcus & Emma’s story. Seeing the first interaction between Ashton & Kendall at brunch made me so excited for their book, but this was just not anywhere near the same level as the previous books.

I DNF’d this book at about 50%, everything was rushed, the pacing was all over the place, the miscommunication drove me INSANE (and I normally really enjoy some angsty miscommunication) and the characters were really over the top and annoying.

Like you’re at your best friend’s wedding and you can’t tolerate being near a guy you met once three years ago and slept with just because you then got told he sleeps with all his clients? The level of outrage Kendall displays during the wedding anytime she has to interact with Ashton or even just be in the same room as him was ridiculous, especially when it was negatively impacting her friend’s wedding. You met him once, slept with him, and then acted like he lead you on and lied to you even though they never spoke about expectations & just assume what you’ve been told about him is 100% truth. It’s been three years, get over it, act like an adult and stop ruining your friend’s wedding.

And Ashton being the misunderstood “secretly has a heart of gold and wants to meet the love of his life and get married while everyone assumes he’s just an unserious playboy who sleeps around” guy was just cliche and also was not executed well either.

The way they both kept getting thrown together anytime they tried to stay away from one another was also ridiculous & cliche.

She refuses to fly to the wedding on the private plane with everyone else because she doesn’t want to be near him? Ends up on the same commercial flight as him because he also wanted to avoid her.

She refuses to eat dinner with everyone because she doesn’t want to be in the same room as him? Her takeaway food gets delivered at the same time & by the same courier as his.

Trying to keep their distance during the wedding photos? The photographer assumes they’re a couple (apparently she can just tell by looking at them even though they have non existent chemistry) and forces them to stand beside one another.

Refusing to dance at the wedding when literally everyone else is because…. I honestly don’t know why, they apparently won’t allow themselves to be happy or enjoy themselves if they’re so much as in the same room as each other- and then get forced to dance together because everyone else is already patterned up for the slow dance.

Looking for a touristy way to spend time after the wedding? Somehow both book the same swamp tour (Swamp Sparkle Safari- which is an absolutely RIDICULOUS name by the way) and get dumped at the cabins in the middle of the swamp by the tour guides and forced to stay until the guides come back- I’m assuming the next morning, this was the point I DNF’d it.

I found the characters beyond annoying, the chemistry non existent, the humour fell flat and just wasn’t remotely funny, and there really didn’t seem to be any plot beyond their relationship, and they just argued and snarked at one another the entire time and it wasn’t even good antagonistic witty banter either, it was just petulant children having a tantrum.

This ebook cost me $7.99 AUD and I’m actually kinda mad about it. I’ve read a lot of books by Anna Zaires and normally really enjoying them and I really don’t know why the writing style is so different in this book but it was a huge let down.

When I pick up a book from Anna Zaires and Misha Bell, I know I’m going to be entertained! The combination of fun romance with LOL drama is sweet perfection and having something light and romantic is my cup of tea!

So what’s the scoop with Kendall and Ashton? Well Kendall’s boss is Diva supreme, and drives her bonkers, but she knows that his high maintenance ways will give her the experience she needs to may her way in the fashion industry. But Mr. boss doesn’t like the bad juju, so his wife advises Kendall to go work out at her gym to “blow off” some steam. In enters Ash, the fitness trainer. He saves Kendall from a near treadmill accident and from there the sparks fly! They are totally 100% hot for one another! The steam happens early in the first few chapters, so it’s like wow, what a connection!
Until there isn’t!
When Kendall realizes Ash offers happy endings to all his clients the connection she thought she felt is cheapened and she ghosts Ash!
But is this all one big misunderstanding?
Kendall and Ash are dynamite and their reunion is equally explosive! Loved everything about these two characters and how is a big city like New York, they reconnect!
This book has tons of humour and sweet moments. So if you are looking for a light read this is the perfect read!

If you are looking for a sweet and steamy book then you have found it. This is the story of Ashton and Kendall. If you have read the books in the Wall Street Titan series then you met Marcus and Emma. These two are their best friends. Emma has a goal of breaking into the fashion industry. The job she has now, her boss drives her crazy. When her husband tells Emma to go work out some frustration at the gym she meets Ashton. He saves her when she almost has a treadmill disaster. From that moment the sparks are flying and these two end up having a moment. But then she hears some news that really upsets her and she blocks him. Three years have passed and now their best friends are getting married. These two now have to make it through a wedding being nice to each other and are about to discover a whole lot more about each other. I really loved reading this book. It was so much fun to read and I had the best time reading it.

Fit for Love
By: Anna Zaires, Misha Bell
Narrated by: Erin Mallon, Ryan West

I can always count on Misha Bell and Anna Zaires to make me laugh and invest my heart. This is a romance of mistaken identity packed with witty banter and passion! Kendall is having a rough day, and her boss sends her to the gym to Ash. Ash helps Kendall out, and their off the charts chemistry lands them in bed. Next thing you know, circumstances keep them apart, or should I say Kendall does only to bring them back together at a friend's wedding. Now the uncomfortable time begins. Bell and Zaires have these two pushed together, adding to the sarcasm and foreplay. And the outcome is just hilariously funny and lovable. This came just at the right time for me, and I loved it!

Erin Mallon and Ryan West do a fantastic job bring this couple alive. The comedic timing, the taunting of each other and the crazy situations all played out to perfection. Their chemistry for Kendall and Ash is oozing out of them and had me in love from the start. A fantastic pairing for this wonderful story.

Fit For Love is a delightful romantic comedy featuring the story of Kendall and Ashton who first appeared in The Wall Street Titan and Titan's Addiction duet which focused on Marcus and Emma's romance. Ashton is a wealthy self-made fitness instructor and best friend of Marcus, while Kendall is trying to become a fashion designer whose best friend is Emma. When Emma and Marcus decide to marry, they invite their best friends to Florida for the wedding not knowing Ashton and Kendall had met three years earlier at a fitness center which turned into a one night stand and a major misunderstanding. Ashton and Kendall's romance is a well written and wonderful story with amazing characters, sizzling attraction and passion, witty banter, hilarious self-thoughts, humorous situations, strong emotions, and a fantastic journey finding true love. I highly recommend this excellent romantic comedy written by two of the best authors I follow, Anna Zaires and Misha Bell.

I absolutely loved Fit for Love! Anna Zaires and Misha Bell have crafted a perfect blend of humor, steam, and heartfelt romance that kept me hooked from start to finish. But I may be bias, I love their books and style of writing.

Kendall and Ashton’s story is everything I could want in a romantic comedy—laugh-out-loud funny, swoon-worthy, and packed with sizzling chemistry. Kendall’s quirky personality and Ashton’s irresistible charm make for an unforgettable pairing. Their connection is undeniable and the way their relationship unfolds is both hilarious and heart-melting.

The writing is, as alway, fast-paced and engaging, with just the right mix of laugh-out-loud moments and emotional depth. If you love smart, sexy rom-coms with a touch of the unexpected, this book is a must-read! I couldn’t put it down, and now I want more! If you loved Titan of Wall Street, you will love this story!

Highly recommend!

Fit for Love by Anna Zaires and Misha Bell is a witty, steamy romcom that hooks you from the start. Kendall, a stylish fashionista fresh off a breakup with a cheating ex, joins an upscale health club on a recommendation to sweat out her frustrations. Enter Ashton, her swoon-worthy personal trainer, who’s instantly smitten. But Kendall, wary and guarded, brushes him off. Both are commitment-phobes hiding secrets that could derail their budding connection, leading to a playful push-and-pull chase packed with seduction and sparks.
The heat between Kendall and Ashton kept me glued to the pages—their banter and tension are electric. While the story leans into some familiar romcom tropes, the humor and chemistry make it impossible to skim. I’d recommend Fit for Love to anyone, even romcom skeptics, because this one might win you over.

If you're looking for a quick read that is not only a really good book but also a romantic comedy then you should give this one a try. This book brings back characters from Wall Street Titan (Books 1 and 2), so if you've read those you'll be familiar with the characters in this book.

Ashton and Kendall share one unforgettable night but Kendall ghosts him the next day without a word. Fast forward three years and they meet up again because their best friends (Marcus and Emma) are getting married. They find the attraction is still white hot and off the charts.

When Aston and Kendall get stranded on an island they give in to their attraction, but can they get over the wounds from the past?.

This book was a fun, quick, and enjoyable read. I loved all the characters, from Kendall's awful boss to Ashton's funny bits. A post-breakup sweat session turned into a disastrous hookup, a big misunderstanding, and a three-year silence. As luck, or destiny, would have it, Ashton and Kendall are reunited at their best friends' wedding. They're fighting like cats and dogs, but the chemistry is undeniable. This book was funny and really kept me hooked. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this laugh out loud book! Kendall was down and out over a broken relationship, and figured the best way to feel better was to work out to get those feel good endorphins. It was love at first sight for Ashton. Who just so happen to be Kendall’s personal trainer for the day. She was feeling him -he was feeling her then boom we go together lol or that’s how you would hope it would go. What actually happens is way funnier and spicier. Loved how we got to see what each character was thinking in certain situations. I won’t give anything else a way but loved it. I would recommend as a fun, spicy read!.

I came for a rom-com and got a rom-meh. The heroine made me want to shake my Kindle, and the miscommunication trope was dialed up so high it felt less like tension and more like two people in a competition to be emotionally unavailable. The hero? Charming, sure—but not enough to save the slog. I spent most of the book yelling, “Just talk to each other!” into the void. That said, I won’t give up on Anna Zaires just yet—maybe this was a fluke. Hoping next time she brings more rom, actual com, and less passive-aggressive pouting.

Ashton (personal trainer) and Kendall (photographer's assistant + future fashion designer) couldn't be more wrong for each other... and yet, they have such flammable chemistry.
An unlikely first date that results in a night of hot sex. A misunderstanding that makes her break up with him "forever"; but Fate would have it that they had as best friends a couple who were more than in love and wanted to get married quickly.
Conclusion? Ash and Ken would have to be in the same room once again.
It could have all been quick and painless if they hadn't planned to go on the same trip to a secret swamp...
Have fun once again with this Misha and Anna rom-com.

Fit for Love by Anna Zaires / Misha Bell is the ultimate rom-com ride, packed with sizzling chemistry, sharp banter, and laugh-out-loud moments. When Kendall ghosts Ashton after one unforgettable night, she never expects to see him again, let alone get stranded on an island with him years later. Ashton, a fitness mogul with a grudge (and a six-pack), isn’t about to let her off easy. This book is a perfect mix of steam, snark, and second-chance sparks. If you love fiery tension, witty dialogue, and the kind of romance that keeps you glued to the page, Fit for Love is a must-read!

Funny, Light and Steamy! A Winning Combination ❤️
What started as a promising meeting between Ashton and Kendall, quickly ends due to an unfortunate misconception. A few years later they happen to meet again at their friend’s wedding (Marcus and Emma from Wall Street Titan) and let’s just say unexpected things happen!!! Their unique road to happiness is one filled with funny moments, great banter, steamy scenes and more than a few obstacles. Another AMAZING and beautifully written book by the very talented Anna Zaires / Misha Bell. Highly Recommended 🥰🥰🥰

I preferred the Wall Street Titan duet. He wooed her and plotted to make her his in Wall Street Titan.

This book, Fit for Love, had a misunderstanding that wasn't fixed for most of the book. She thought he was a personal trainer who slept with his clients. But there were 2 personal trainers at the same gym with a very similar name.

I felt like he wasn't that interested in her. He didn't try very hard to find her.

He never slept with any clients, except her. He never slept with another woman after they met.
