I found this to be a very helpful while also disturbing book. I would describe myself as evangelical, with a small ‘e’ because to limit John 17 as the authors do is disturbing. Though evangelical matters a lot to me, ecumenical is more important because this is the body of Christ and surely this is who we are to encourage, enable and enthuse in our shared life as the whole good news people.
