The Unmaker
Xani has just moved to Red Banks, Mississippi to attend the Sharpeton Institute. She's made new friends and a rival as a curse awakens. She's concerned for her friend Samaji who is obsessed with an old book and its haunting history.
She becomes part of the story when her rival attacks and a being called Midi captures her friend Ashlin. While searching for a way to defeat him, she gains allies in both the real and magical worlds. They warn of a creature known only as The Lady Crimson, imprisoned by the Wardens of the Seam.
As a storm moves in, Xani faces off with Cyr, The Angel's Knight and a classmate, whom she must kill in order save her friends and herself. If they play their parts, Midi’s master will be freed to destroy the Seam and all of the worlds connected to it. If they don’t, she and those she cares about will die anyway.
She must harness her new power as The Unmaker and use it to save all of the worlds.
