Spines and Ghosts

     During the summer, Brighton is famous for its frivolity—the seaside, entertainment, melted ice creams—however, all fun ends in the autumn.  As Brighton University opens its gates for another term, Joanna Lawrence finds herself unexpectedly wedged amongst the academic masses.  She and Brendan Keane—the famous psychologist—have volunteered their services once again to help two professors who have been working well past retirement.

     But all is not so simple.

     Between an obsession with a supposed ghost and a heated cricket match, university life proves that not everything is based on books and sound logic.  When sightings begin to occur, Lawrence and Keane must search in unusual places, including a boarding house for women, to learn the reason behind the hauntings.  Behind the ghost.

     And whether or not it is a ghost at all.
