I wished this was longer haha, a smutty Santa MFM novella. I can’t lie, if Desire Gene or Elle and Simon get their own book, I’d be very intrigued by it.
Also equally intrigued to check out the other short stories that feature Desire Gene.

perfect Christmas read!
This book wasn't overly Christmas which I loved! Sometimes when doin a holiday novella a lot of words ar focused on the setting of Christmas and this one hit jay right for me and was super fast paced and enjoyable! I seriously would love to see more into the dom/sub aspect with them!!!

Elle has a fantasy her ex shamed her for, and she thinks will never be fulfilled. Enter the Desire Genie.... owner of a club he is particularly equipped to fulfill all Elle's fantasies and with the help of a friend does he ever! As usual Gedling takes us on a journey that introduces us to k!nks we may have never thought of and then makes us go "hmmmmmm, okay!" Her writing is superb - the story draws you in and her characters are people you want to know. I have yet to read a book by Gedling that I didn't immediately fall in love with the people on the pages. If you haven't given her a chance, then this is the perfect place to start! It may move you to the naughty list, but it will be worth it I promise.

Our author explores the world of BDSM in a beautiful and tasteful way that show cases an empowered female character who explores her deepest and most delicious desires in a safe and consensual environment. This book can be read as a standalone or as part of an entire collection of short stories in Seasons of Desire, I loved this short story and highly recommend.

This is a short story that mannages to feel at just the right length and too short at the same time. On the one hand the story feels full, nothing is missing in it, but at the same time I want to know what happened next! I read this a while ago as a short on its own, and now as part of "seasons of desire" we get an extra chapter from Gene's POV, I just cant wait to read more about Elle and Simon! Also, Claire has this uncanny ability to write smut in a classy way. This sounds absurd but somehow she just makes it work, makes it feel more mainsteam.

Yes, it's a great, spicy time. However what I didn't like was that it seems like it's supposed to be about Elle and Gene (or about the 3 of them) and then it turns out it's her and Simon at the very end. Total whiplash on that one. Didn't see it coming AT. ALL. (no pun intended)
So I gave it 3 stars because I liked it - just didn't quite understand the ending.

When Elle goes on line she meets Desire Genie who says he will fulfil her every desire.
Very well done, short, steamy and a great read.
Elle doesn't know what she was missing sexually until she meets Genie and he helps her express her desires. He was all alpha and protective but wanted to show her her inner self.

CC did it again with the help of my man Gene. That character is everything the kink world needs and he proves it to us again in that short story exploring the world of Christmas, dominant men and MMF. I can never get enough of that series and look forward for the next story !
