The situation grows even more dangerous as Harper faces a personal betrayal, ancient secrets, and an escaped nemesis. Daisy Landish is a romance and contemporary fiction author, whose clean and sweet novellas have tugged at readers’ heartstrings around the world. When she’s not writing love stories, Daisy spends her time reading, hiking at dawn, and riding into the sunset on her horse, Rosebud.
Nightmares, a magic plague, break ins, vehicle accidents and to top it off a murder! What a way to start a book!
“Ice crystals clung to my lashes in just the short exposure I had.” The descriptions in this book really emphasise the cold. Is something deeper going on here?
Prison break. Wolves and one of our main characters is in danger, will she survive?
Fast paced, intense and a brilliant ending.
The final showdown: who will survive and can all of Moonhaven be saved in time?
How will the town react when the secret is out?
A note on the love of Harper and Liam. I've loved watching them grow closer and I know you will too. Daisy manages to write romances that feel natural and progress in the same way. A positive addition to an already amazing story. I can only recommend this book series.
A deadlier threat than there has been yet , it’s New Year’s Eve and before the clock strikes Harper Nightshade and co. must uncover a sinister plot you know. She’s not in her own ,she has her town. They won’t let her down. There’s a magical plague looming and that’s not assuming the fact that there is someone in Moonhaven that hasn’t got her back… with her friends and her wit she has to get out of it before the seconds count down . They must all pull together to save their town… Brilliant as ever by Daisy Landish who is ever so clever and sound . I love all her immersive stories so much . All have the human touch with a sprinkle of magic and a what if . Her stories always give me a lift .
well written, full of drama, love, surprises, action , family and friends. Liam and Harper are again trying to save their home and the town of Moonhaven. They now have strong fiends whom some just happen to be witches. Working together they all are able to come up with a plan and then realize that the person they need to stop is also a witch. The witch hunters are using a witch against them. Has lots of action and surprises for you in this story. This has been a really great series to read and enjoy. Would strongly recommend to others. I received this story and leave this unbiased, honest review.
New Year Nemesis: A Paranormal Cozy Mystery is book #10 in the Mystic Moonhaven Mysteries series by Daisy Landish.
I felt this was the most intense story of the series. It’s Harper and her small group ends trying to save Moonhaven from the witch hunters. It’s not easy hunting people you know little about. There were a few jaw-dropping twists. I was literally warning Harper at one point, but she still ended up in a pickle! I really liked how things wrapped up with a very satisfying ending. Hopefully, we will be back to Moonhaven sometime in the future.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the final book in the series, and it is every bit as good as the previous books. For the last time, I have read a Magic Moonhaven novella in one sitting, and this time it was not just the ending of a book but the ending of a series. Are Harper and her friends going to be able to keep the magical plague they are all dreaming about from wiping out Moonhaven? Who is the person who will personally betray Harper? Who is the escaped nemesis? You will have to read the book for yourself as I am not going to drop any spoilers. I really enjoyed this book. I read an ARC of New Year Nemesis
New Year Nemesis: A Paranormal Cozy Mystery (Mystic Moonhaven Mysteries Book 10), my fifty-seventh enjoyable short (48-page) paranormal cozy mystery from author Daisy Landish that I finished in about 45-minutes, the tenth book in the Mystic Moonhaven Mysteries. “I received a Kindle copy of this book in the and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.
Liam and Harper have important back up to stop the destruction of their home and town. Trying to gather info they discover Witch hunters have been able to cross the barriers set up to protect the town. To their surprise the witch hunters have a witch assisting them to gain access and destroy all witches in Moonhaven. To say the least the action, suspense and mystery is filled with many twists and turns. I truly love the writing skills of Daisy Landish
Oh my gosh! This book was a show stopper of an ending for the series. Instead of Cinderella, Harper has to deal with a possible plague and mystery that has to be figured out before midnight. The whole gang is involved and boy, do the surprises come out! No spoilers here but, wow! Quick read but I went back and read it again, just so I didn't miss anything.
This is a fitting wrap-up. I have enjoyed this series and I am sorry it has come to an end. I hope to see some of the characters in future books. I received a free copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
Well, I have now binge the whole series and it was well worth it. A totally different take on witches and their surroundings. To finally be able to breathe and safety and peace with those around you is an extremely valuable lesson.
